This is our 2nd trip with Safari Tours. We loved this Vortex tour with Adam. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about Sedona. We love when a tour guide can give us the history, too. We all loved him. His knowledge about local restaurants was great, too.

I am a solo traveler and I felt so comfortable and safe.
I was able to see beautiful sights in Sedona without having to hassle with parking, with having someone (Chris) extremely knowledgeable, appreciative and enthusiastic for the area driving me around; I loved every moment of the tour!

We had such a great time on this tour! It was our first time in Sedona and this ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
Our guide, David, was amazing. He made everything fun and engaging, explained things thoroughly, and kept it really interesting the whole time. He was also more than happy to take photos for us at different stops, which we really appreciated.
This tour wasn’t a super intense off-roading experience, so it would be great for anyone who doesn’t want to be jostled around too much, or elderly and very young riders.
We stopped at three different locations and had plenty of time at each, which made it feel relaxed and enjoyable. Everything ran smoothly, and the whole operation felt very well-organized and professional.
We also loved hearing that they’re the only locally owned Jeep tour company left in Sedona. It’s always nice to support a local business.

Our guide, Calvin Klein (“CK”), was incredibly knowledgeable—truly a wealth of information. You could ask him anything, and his personality, paired with his insightful stories, made the experience even more meaningful.
We visited Rachel’s Knoll for a peaceful meditation, passed by Kachina Woman, and concluded our journey at the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park, where we enjoyed a beautiful walking meditation around the stupa.
My partner and I deeply cherished this mystical experience and highly recommend it to anyone seeking something truly special.

Doc is an enthusiastic tour guide. He is chockful of interesting information with regard to vortexes and the spirituality behind them. He kept us engaged from the moment we left the parking lot to when we returned. He used a douser to locate underground streams and he brought us to a sacred Buddhist Stupa that we would never have found on our own. He was also a lot of fun and gave great recommendations for food that did not disappoint. It was a great way to start our visit to Sedona and we were happy that this particular tour is local based so we were supporting the local community. It was just the right amount of time. Our guide was Rob and he was fantastic! So knowledgeable and kind, he went out of his way to make the trip informative. My husband and I were the only ones on the tour so Rob had to work harder, but he took it in stride and was amazing.

The tour advertised three vortex stops and recommended hiking shoes, as hiking was supposed to be part of the experience. However, there was absolutely no hiking involved—I could have worn sandals comfortably at every stop. More importantly, the most significant location, the Amitabha Stupa Peace Park, was skipped due to “lack of time.” That was one of the main reasons I booked, as the tour photo features the Stupa. In the end, we only visited two sites, not the three promised. While the driver was very pleasant, the experience did not match the description.

The best thing about this tour was Vivian the tour guide. It was four lovely stops. And Vivian made each stop interesting. It was only 2 1/2 hours so I feel it was a lot of money for 2 1/2 hours.
What I did not like is when you check in at the office how they tried to tell you what the proper tip would be. They automatically assume there's going to be a gratuity and suggest to us him out we should leave. I have never seen anything like that anywhere in the world when I've taken a tour even if she received $10 a person she got $100 for a two hour trip. If she gets 15 she gets $150 tip. That's pretty huge for 2 1/2 hours. Is she not getting paid? It is unprofessional the front desk. Staff are talking about how much we should leave.
