We truly enjoyed this tour. Bella was excellent, she was friendly and pleasant. Not only did she take us to wonderful bakeries, she told us alot of interesting facts about Seattle and the bakeries. I was surprised when each bakery had a different type/flavor. They all tasted amazing.

This was hands down one of the most fun tours we did while on vacation – like ever. Jesseca had a deep understanding of Seattle's history and food, paired with such a fun energy. We had a small group, but that made the experience even more fun because we got to know each other better. Every place we got donuts from was better than the last!

We had an amazing time on the Underground Seattle Donut Tour, and Athena was the highlight of the entire experience! She was incredibly knowledgeable at every stop, sharing fun facts and history with so much enthusiasm. She answered all of our questions with ease and made sure everyone in the group felt included and engaged. The tour was perfectly paced, the donuts were delicious, and Athena’s energy made it even more enjoyable. Everything was seamless from start to finish and we would absolutely do this tour again and would highly recommend Athena as your guide! 🍩👏

Fun tidbits about the city as we walked from one donut shop to the next. Interesting facts about the different donut shops/restaurants. Starts on 5th Ave and ends in Pike Place Market. Definitely go hungry or plan on a go bag!

The donuts are delicious and Deb knew a lot about them but some places like the one at the market were just alright and I would have preferred to get a different flavour rather than the normal usual mini donuts

A Donut Gone Wrong

Our tour guide sent a text asking that "We find her, at Top Pot". She would be upstairs in the back. Why would we ever need to find our tour guide? She did not arrive on time. After getting our donuts she put gloves on. Yet, before she touched our food she reached into her back pack to get a utensil to cut the donuts. Once again with her gloves on. We did not find that sanitary. She talked a mile per minute and jumped from one subject to the next. It was supposed to be an underground tour, which she stated to us. That never happened. Due to some physical restraints we did request that we skip one trip downhill. She is an Amazon fan. Amazon does this and that for their employees. Amazon is just awesome, according to her. We were not interested in an Amazon commercial. At the end of the tour she asked us to scan her badge for a website to give her an excellent review so she can get Angel wings. Once again asking us to meet her needs, at her convenience, not ours. She came across as arrogant and superior. Believe me we are not ignorant or stupid but she definitely talked down to us. We are both retired and our son gifted this trip to Seattle. We have traveled the country. Seattle was one place we had missed. We have been in 47 states. She mentioned having been in graduate school. Yet, her grammar was atrocious. I started out giving the tour three stars but I now realize that was too generous.

That’s never the feeling we want to leave our guests with — especially when this was a gift from your son and part of a special trip. To clarify one point: Top Pot (upstairs, in the back) is our designated meeting location for that tour. We ask guests to meet the guide there rather than gathering outside so everyone can stay warm, seated, and comfortable before we begin. That said, the welcome should always feel warm and engaging — not confusing or impersonal. We also take your concerns about food handling and pacing very seriously. Our guides are trained in proper food safety, and what you described does not reflect our standards. Likewise, the tour should feel cohesive and conversational — never rushed, scattered, or like a personal commercial for any company. We truly wish you had contacted us privately right after the tour so we could have addressed this immediately and made it right. As a small company built on word of mouth and repeat guests, we care deeply about each experience and would have welcomed the opportunity to fix this in real time. While we can’t undo the day, we would genuinely love the chance to host you again — in Seattle or in any of our other cities — and provide the thoughtful, welcoming, story-rich experience you deserved the first time. Thank you again for your candid feedback. It helps us improve, and we hope we’ll have the opportunity to make this up to you in the future.

This was one of the best Food Tours I have ever done. Deb (tour guide) was so knowledgable about the area and all the different donut shops we visited. The choice of donuts was excellent. Jesseca was a phenomenal guide! Not only were the donuts incredible, but Jesseca was very knowledgeable about the city and its history, which made the tour more fun. She even took us to a few special spots for photos. The tour was the perfect blend of food and sight seeing. We had a great time!

Worth it

A bit pricey but definitely worth it. Im not big on sweets but my gf loved every minute of it. Got to try a variety of donuts. Our tour guide Deb made the experience

Tasty Donuts

The Donuts Tasted great especially the ones from Top Pot. I had to go back to this donut store for more donuts and coffee lattes. However, I only gave 3 Stars because this tours needs some improvements. We met the guide at our first donut shop Top Pot which had a beautiful atmosphere and ambience and we could also select any type of coffee for our donuts. Loved the donuts and coffee. Our next stop was Doce Donut Co which had a wide variety of tasty donuts. However the tour guide took out the donuts and we had to eat them standing up outside by the Amazon Headquarters in not so warm weather. We each had half a donut. 2 Donuts for 4 people. No explanation why we couldn’t sit indoors. We proceeded to third donut store that had variety of donuts and other pastries at the Dahlia Bakery. We had some small plain donuts with side of jelly which were not as tasty as two former donut stores. Again we had to sit outside on cold seats, no explanation given why we could not sit indoors as there was plenty of room. We then went to our last stop the Public Market and did small tour of area and tasted the last of our donuts which were ok not as good as first 2 stops. The tour seemed rushed and the guide had lack on interest on doing this tour and did not seem to enjoy her craft of tour guiding compared to other tour guides I have encountered on numerous food tours.

Dr Wikid was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed all of the donuts and even had a chance to get lunch with him. We had our own private tour it was awesome.
