Jade was an excellent communicator, who was very enthusiastic about chocolate, food, and a good experience. She had a bubbly personality and her knowledge of Seattle, Seattle Cuisine, and Pikes Place Market was second to know!
It was a wonder experience

Nice 2 hour walk
Great host, knowledgeable and fun!
Really enjoyed the chocolate she selected for us
Maia was wonderful and very personable. Enjoyed this tour very much ! Went to great places, mainly located at Pike Public Market.
It wasn’t all about chocolate. There were also other deserts. Two different hot chocolates were tasted at different locations. Woody was a A+ guide.
Great walking tour through Seattle with a wide variety of chocolate tastings. Our guide Will was very informative
We had a great time on our chocolate tour. However, I recommend that they skip the black truffle stop and add another chocolate stop. Our guide was very nice, but I would have liked her to provide more information about Seattle and its history.
We purchased the chocolate tour as a Christmas present for friends. We all loved it. Ivy, our guide, was a delight—knowledgeable, sincere, and very ready to engage. We are semi frequent Market goers but Ivy took us to places around the market that we were not familiar with and they are definitely experiences that we will want to try again. Really nice job.
I learned a lot about chocolate and how it’s made. Good selection of samples. My husband and I enjoyed the tour very much. Will did a great job.
Excellent chocolate tour with history of Seattle. We went with our kids, age 10 and 11. Although the samplings were more suited for advanced palettes, they enjoyed trying different things! I personally loved every sampling, including the cinnamon hot chocolate from the original Starbucks location. The walking tour included some elevation changes such steps and a slight down hill walk. Our tour guide Woody was excellent, informative, interested in our opinions, and kind. He quickly rendered aid to an elderly man who fell out of his wheelchair by getting ice and calling 911. A stellar human being. Our group was small, six people, and we enjoyed the company. I would rate this tour 10 out of 10, highly recommend.
Our guide Ivy was very good. She was personable and very knowledgeable. She gave us a lot of background information about Seattle and information about chocolate on our chocolate tour. She took us to some great places to try chocolate and gave us personal recommendations for exploring Seattle
Magnolia was our tour guide and created a great experience. Her knowledge of the market area was thorough and her stories of spending time there as a child helped us look at the market in a different light. We loved the tour and would highly recommend it as well as asking for Magnolia as a guide.
This was a great walking tour around a small area of downtown / pike market. Without a guide I guarantee you wouldnt stumble upon 1/2 of the places we visited. A good mix of chocolate, cookies, gelato, and drinks, so something for everyone.
This tour was definitely not worth the money. Thought it would be focused more about the chocolate making and chocolate in general (i.e—European chocolate tours). Really, we just had things like chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate from local places. Little to no history along the way and essentially nothing about chocolate. Would’ve rather saved the money from the tour and just tried local bakeries myself. Tour guide was NOT informative and if you’ve done another tour, you’ve probably already stopped at the same places.
Magnolia did an excellent job. We really enjoyed our tour. The different tastings were delicious and allowed us to have a nice Seattle experience.
We really enjoyed our tour with Will! His connections to local purveyors made our stops extra special.
It is an outside tour. Wear warm clothes if weather is rainy or mild. We found places to shelter. The chocolate is worth it though!
We booked the chocolate walking tour on short notice (the day before). It was a very enjoyable walking tour with so many sampling opportunities that you lose track of how many types of chocolate you’ve had. Will was a great tour guide. I’d recommend this tour to anyone unless you have any mobility issues as there is a lot of walking and a few BIG hills to go down and up again.
I loved that not only we got history, sight seeing, flavor and how many different licals spots we got to see
Wonderful tour. A nice brisk walk interspersed with lovely chocolate and some delightful history about the city. Ivy was wonderful an a great host and tour guide.
It was a fun experience with the kids and a great way to spend time together. The walking helped burn off some calories too.
Great tour if you enjoy a variety of chocolate treats and want to explore Pike Place. Ivy was fantastic, she provided so much information and was just a delight to chat with.
It was not just an informative chocolate tour, our host also told us stories about Seattle. Keep in mind though that it requires a long walk of around an hour and half with intermittent sitting at cafes and sweet shops. Overall very good experience
What a treat it was to experience this walking tour as a family. Our guides were informative, engaging, and adapted the experience well for our kids. I loved the way our tour guide Will explained how we sometimes connect flavors with experiences we’ve had & use many creative analogies to describe the differences we taste. We made some bold new choices & practiced letting the flavors develop. Highly recommend!
It was just the 2 of us and Ivy, our guide. She was great! Gave us a lot of history of chocolate, Seattle, Pike's Place and the vendors we visited. We had cookies, donuts, hot chocolate and Fran's world famous chocolate to name a few.
Ivy was lovely. She gave us some of the history of the shops that we visited and gave us great recommendations for gifts to bring home to my daughters. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Ivy was fantastic! A very knowledgeable connoisseur of the cacao plant! Not all places on the itinerary may be visited, but every one is a treat! Cookies, hot chocolates, gelato, donuts, tart, & tiny chocolates of course! Seven places and 9 items. If you love chocolate, this is your tour!
Awesome tour. We were on a chocolate high afterwards. Ivy was fantastic and she was very knowledgeable about the local environment and about chocolate in general.
The chocolate was good, but the guide was better. My husband fell the day before and was struggling to keep up. Guide found a quiet place and he brought the chocolate to us. Great experience.
We had an amazing time with Woody! He’s super enthusiastic and really knows his stuff about the tour. The 3-hour tour flew by because it was so much fun and delicious. My family and I had a blast, especially with all the yummy chocolate and food tastings. But the Mexican Hot Tablilla “chocolate” drink was our favorite! Overall, it was a great tour and Woody was an incredible guide! Also, thank you Woody for special chocolate candy treat.
We had such a great time with Ben. He was knowledgeable not only about chocolate but also the history of Seattle and Pike Place Market. Ben engaged my kids and was incredibly personable. I would highly recommend.
Ivy was a very knowledgeable and gracious guide who selected a delectable assortment of chocolate treats for the group to try. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Don’t be put off by the price of the tour, it is justified by the high prices for food in Seattle.
