It was fine. Our tour guide shared with us what was in the manual. She was kind and gracious. I have been on food tours where the guide was passionate about the area and the food. I walked away with love of the food and area this tour was fine but not amazing.

This was the worst food tour I have been on and the most expensive. At each stop it was obvious that the restaurant wasn’t prepared for us. Stop 1 - each “couple” actually split a bowl of shrimp and grits - one plate - 2 spoons. Stop 2 was at a bar - we were able to choose between a beer or wine - place so crowded our guide asked us to wait outside while she ran in to get our drinks for the road. Stop 3 restaurant was so crowded we sat at the bar as a group and the food we were supposed to get wasn’t on the menu.. Stop 4 was ice cream. I believe i was served about $35-40 worth of food and drink and psi $122. Will not book from this company again

Brittany was very knowledgeable about the origin of each dish, the history of the buildings of the restaurants, and others as we walked to the next stop. The food was delicious. Can't wait to tell my friends and take the lunch tour.

Fantastic food tour! Our guide, Rose, was friendly, fun, and very knowledgeable. The stops are well chosen, the food is very representative of the South and delicious! Do show up hungry as there is quite a bit of food. They include one alcoholic beverage but you can buy more at any stop.
Please let the operator know of any food allergies: the tour includes shellfish and dairy, I didn’t ask but I’m thinking they can accommodate.
I take food tours in many cities around the world and this one ranks among the very best.

Our tour guide rose was so sweet, friendly and super smart! She shared so much history and knowledge of the area. We definitely learned a lot. The food was also wonderful! Rose took care of all the details ordering for us and making sure everyone had something to enjoy. I would do this trip again!

My tour guide was Jessica. She was an awesome tour guide and I had a great time. She was very knowledgeable about the city and gave us some great history and interesting facts. The food was amazing and I look forward to revisiting some restaurants that I had never been to before.

I thought for $125 each we would get a lot more food; basically we shared a few appetizers and did not even go to the ice cream place that Savannah is known for; went to a cheaper version. The guide was 19 so young and inexperienced but she did know a lot of history. I would never recommend this food tour. I have done many tours in many cities/countries and I would have to rate this one very poor

Absolutely loved the tour and Rose was amazing with her knowledge of the area. Really enjoyed her as our tour guide. Food was outstanding. So much and a great variety. Wasn't sure which food tour to do, but very happy we chose this tour.

We had a wonderful time with Michael on this tour. The amount of interesting history facts was wonderful in such a great city like Savannah. We also appreciated that it was not cancelled even though it was only my husband and I. On the other hand, we only stopped at 2 restaurants, one bar, and one ice cream shop. (We thought there would be at least another restaurant or two) But, that being said, the food was delicious and we had the best time.

Food tours are always at the top of our list of things to do when we’re on vacation. The more authentic flavors of the region, the better. This tour offered exactly what we were hoping for in Savannah - shrimp and grits, baked oysters, she crab soup, a drink (alcoholic or nonalcoholic) at an Irish pub, and ice cream.
Michael was our awesome tour guide! He was incredibly communicative and helpful before, during, and after the tour. He was sure to address any dietary issues/preferences before and during the tour, provided a lot of interesting history during the course of the tour, and followed up with us after the tour with recommendations that he sent to us via text.

Rebecca was a great guide with lots of local/food knowledge. Not too much walking in this well organized tour. There was a good variety of samples at some top restaurants, but don't expect to be full at the end of the tour.

Pamela is a great tour guide, friendly and easy going. All stops were unhurried and provided generous portions. We spent less time in the heat and more in the restaurants.

Started off at Madison Square with our tour guides Leslie and Cathy. Both were enthusiastic and very knowledgable about history and locations. Our food tour included amazing, perfectly-cooked shrimp and grits at the lovely Gryphon Tea Room. The room was very old artsy with chandeliers, books, nooks and ladies with fascinators having tea. Next, we headed to the Six Pence Pub which is one of the oldest British pubs authentic with flags, art work and a framed photo of King Charles. We were served either a beer or wine and bangers and mash and crabcakes. Next up was Husk Restaurant. Reconstructed after a fire -- this boujee restaurant had several floors and was gorgeous. All food was local farmers and menu was daily based on such. We had oysters which were incredible -- possibly the best raw ones I've tasted. They were served on an ice tray with lemon, sauce and a bottle dropper with infused-oil ingredients. They were wonderful. We then had pimento cheese served with homemade flat-seeded crackers. The combinations were perfectly paired and delicious. We ordered a Pinkie Swear cocktail which was decorated with a flower cluster and was delicious. We continued our journey to River Street Sweets for a praline and ended at the famous Leopold's ice cream parlor. It was a rainy day but that never stopped us from moving along, learning the history, visiting many of the 22 Savannah squares and enjoying our tour with 4 other tourists. Tour Guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. Adaptable towards the touring guest needs, likes/dislikes. Shared, not just about the food we enjoyed and locations we visited, but local culture and history as well. I would highly recommend this tour to others! The smaller group also made it more enjoyable.
