The website didn't specify the "Glass bottom boat fish feeding trip" was in kayaks. We are in our 70's, and not so agile. However, the guides were extremely helpful helping us in and out of them. Once we got underway it was an excellent experience. The kayak was quite stable and easy to maneuver. Nathan was very knowledgeable, and we saw a lot of wildlife.
Of all of the places and experiences we did on this trip...this one was at the top. My children and I loved lbeing out on the kyak. After a long day in the heat the cool calm kyak on the water, watching the sun set while seeing everything from dolphins playing to all kinds of fish and crabs and other wildlife....it felt like a fairytale. Our guide was super knowledgeable about everything from our surroundings to the history of sarasota. This tour did not disappoint in any area. We arrived extra early...about 30min before our tour was scheduled to start...and instead of having to wait we were allowed to get right in the kyaks and practice and explore the cove area until the whole group arrived. We were able to see so many creatures in their natural habitats. Of all of our activities on this trip...this was our favorite.
Guide was informative, flexible and knowledgeable. He was good with participants from a variety of experiences.
Our eight year old grandson loved this. What a fantastic experience. He went with my husband as it ended up being too strenuous for me. Nolan our guide said he would refund my ticket.
Informational, easy, The guide nautical Nolan was knowledgeable. We got to see crab, cat fish, and a snail.
Nautical Nolan and scuba Sam rocked! Nolan picked up sea life to show us and was very knowledgeable!
Even if you don’t see the spectacular things you very well might see, you’ll see great stuff and learn a lot. We only had an evening of free time while we were here and were thrilled to discover this—felt like we had actually done something other than the “business” we came for.

They cancel on you very short notice and have a reputation for doing so, communication was poor very last minute
Fun evening for a bunch of first time kayakers! Nolan did a wonderful job guiding us and keeping the group tourist calm. Beautiful views and awesome explanation of the wildlife. Highly recommend this for everyone!
We took th sunset tour, so no led lights. Our guide was very informative about the mangrove trees and the birds. We saw some stuff under the boat, but take the night tour with the lights...I'm sure it will be far better.
alot of fun. a very unique experience with lots of little creatures. Cat fish cove was crazy with fish. We saw sea horses and alot of crabs.
Really good to experience. We saw tons of wildlife and our guide was really personable. Got a little wet so definitely bring a towel. Had so much fun, was wanting to go the next night too!
Brandon the guide was awesome. Spending time with my daughter on this tour will never be replaced as it was incredible. It's one of the most peaceful things anyone can do.
Well. Let me see !! NOTHING!!! We waited there for 30 minutes along with another group that was going on the same trip. And NO ONE showed up at the location they said to meet at !!! This was a surprise birthday present for my husband and the surprise was on is !!! Also every number that I could use to call or text no one answered or helped me. Very disappointed and upset !
I’m glad I did it - but will not do it again . Way to buggy, getting bit left to right . Didn’t see much - we fed fish - but thought we would see more . The tour guide was okay- just not impressed . Our kayaks were not led -

We were on.our honeymoon and booked this trip and were exited to go. However, when we got to the location for the 8pm trip, no representative from Sharky's was there. We attempted to call without success. So, we began to text. 7 other customers showed up. We finally made contact with Sharky's and we're told the trip had been canceled due to weather. The sun was out....lol. 2 of the other customers said this was there 3rd night in a row "canceled" trip. Sharky's said they notified customers via email at 6pm. None of us had received any such notification. We even checked our spam, trash and text. Sharky's should have had a representative present to tell everyone what was going on . So, with that said we had no "memorable moments" with Sharky's. We booked a trip with another company the following night. We will not recommend Sharky's.
Although the tour guide and assistant (Brandan) were very friendly & nice, we expected some history of the water & area.
Tips: let kayakers know, “if you want to take a sunset picture-now is the time”. We expected to take some nice pictures, but didn’t know the plan of the evening.
Waters were very choppy!
Well, my brother didn’t realize that there was fish food in the jar and so he just tossed it all at once. Then the minnows were swarming and then they ended up flooding their kayak and sunk it.
But the guys are very helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see it in person but once I heard about it, I could not stop laughing. It was hilarious!!
Totally recommend for people that just wanna have a fun night you can be loud and they don’t care. It was a great time!!
They canceled on us day of due to boat issues. Offered refund or different day which was great, except it was our last day of vacation. It was our big finally for granddaughter before she went back home. So it was heart breaking for her, more so due to her special volleyball camp got canceled too. Her visit to grams was a bunch of cancelation, which sucked.
Maybe next year .....
Enjoyed seeing lots of fish, kayaking at night was sooo peaceful. Guides were very knowledgable and friendly. Two fish jumped in our kayak, pretty cool.

SCAM DONT DO IT!!!!!! the tour guide DID NOT SHOW UP and DID NOT NOTIFY anyone that he cancelled the tour. he will not refund us or get back to anyone about getting a refund. terrible experience and lost $55. drove over an hour to show up and find out from other confused and angry people he cancelled
He didn’t even tell us this was cancelled. People showed up and were all expecting a tour. We drove far to do this and not even notified that it was cancelled.
Drove over a hour to do the tour. The tour guide canceled without any notice. Me and another group were waiting in the parking lot, calling the contact number & no answer from anyone… a text/ email saying the tour was canceled would’ve been nice, considering we drove an hour for absolutely nothing.
If you are down in Sarasota. This is a beautiful Fun experience to do with family and friends. Very recommended!
It was awesome seeing so many dolphin on our tour. Disappointed that we weren’t able to or feed any fish. But my husband and I enjoyed ourselves.
The tour is around a basin. We were under the impression we were going to go through the mangroves because that is he picture shown for this tour. There was hardly any marine life to see. Tour guide was very nice.
