Julie provided a fun evening in Santa Barbara. She is very knowledgeable of the history of the area and incorporates it into her stories. Having gone on many ghost tours, we were very appreciative that Julie provided the story of what may have happened in a particular location without any expectation that we would or would not "see" anything. She is very articulate, kept our attention, and knew the detail behind the stories. We would highly recommend Julie's "The Veil is Lifted" tour.

If city exploring and meeting fun people is for you, then this is the tour for you! We learned history, explored the stories behind the friendly ghosts of Santa Barbara, and even heard ghost foot steps with our very own ears!

Our guide was very knowledgeable, but we spent way too much time standing in haunted parking lots. I would have preferred standing in front of haunted buildings or actually in the buildings. Maybe there is a shortage of ghosts in Santa Barbara?

I am not a believer in Ghosts but our guide made the tour interesting and we got to see a few buildings and it's history of them. My Fiancé is more of a believer and she liked it. It's a unique experience.
