Renting a golf cart for the day was a wonderful way to explore the city. We appreciated the ability to drive in restricted areas and special parking options. It was a marvelous day!

We rented a golf cart for 8 hours each day for two days. We were able to explore on our own, at our own pace, stopping whenever we wanted to in order to see whatever we wanted to stop for. I would highly suggest you obtain a map of the sites you want to visit ahead of time, build an itinerary with purpose because there is so much to see and 8 hours flies by. The traffic in Rome is hectic, so you must be comfortable navigating a Golf Cart in traffic. On day 1, we explored the Gardens of the Villa Borghese, navigated to Piazza del Popolo, over to Museo Leonardo da Vinci, Fountain of Neptune, down to Castel Sant'Angelo, around the Vatican, down to Campo dei Fiori and Trastevere neighborhoods and then back. On day two we explored the Circus Maxximus, Colosseum, Mouth of Truth, Paletine Hill, Piazza della Republica, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and then back. It rained on day one, so the golf cart was a blessing that enabled us to still get around and see a lot in the time we had. On day 2 we parked the golf cart for half the day as we explored the Colosseum and Roman Forum. The golf carts are authorized to drive in the ZTL areas of the old city and parking is easier in some places than others, depending on the crowds at the time.

Unique experience, very good care - within 20min of notice the landlord was on site when we returned our golf cart early. Was traveling with my >80 year old parents. An excellent way to explore the city with reduced mobility
