Transpostation to the Catacombs will be lead by a professional dirver (not a guide)
The catacomb temperature is about 60°F and the moisture content is high; please dress appropriately
No one can visit the catacombs on their own, nor stray from their group along the route, nor cross the gates that delimit the paths open to the public
It is forbidden to touch the exhibits along the visit path
It is forbidden to remove any object and/or material
No photos allowed inside the Catacombs

No change on a booking can be accepted after 24hrs to the starting time of the tour. In that instance, no refund will be issued.

It is NOT 5 hours. It is 7 hours, including a 2 hour break between the tours. Maria, our coliseum guide was great. Needs better communication on the meeting pount. The info state need the park entrance and guide would have a sign. Neither were correct. I highly recommend the tour.

You're absolutely right—if you include the clearly stated 2-hour break between the morning and afternoon tours, the total experience spans around 7 hours. However, the tour time itself is approximately 5 hours, which is exactly what we describe. The break isn’t hidden; it’s included in the full itinerary so guests can rest, grab a bite, or—dare we say—reflect on thousands of years of Roman history. As for the meeting point confusion: we do provide the exact location and instructions in the confirmation email and voucher, including visual references. While we aim for clarity, we also trust that guests will take a moment to review that info ahead of time—especially in a city where ancient ruins and modern street signs don’t always get along! And yet, despite all this, you “highly recommend the tour”—which we sincerely appreciate. So we have to ask: what earned the deduction? The extra break time? The challenge of finding a guide in a city with more monuments than street names? In any case, thank you for joining us. Not what I expected…

Great Tour of the Colosseum! However, the catacombs portion of the tour is not what I expected. It is not a guided tour of the catacombs through Viator. Instead, it is simply a driver who takes you to the catacombs and Wait for you. The tour of the catacombs is actually done on site by the park leaders. So, just be aware that the catacombs is simply a driver who gets you there and back.
