It’s wonderful! You will see more of beautiful Frascati and the surrounding towns. So much history. Pier was our most excellent guide. He gave so much personal attention and detail to the trip.There were no crowds. It was very relaxing. We also enjoyed some local food tasting and wine. It was well worth doing!

This trip was so relaxing and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Rome. The guide showed us some beautiful sites and we tried some wonderful snacks, wines, and conversation. He also kept in contact and told us what train to take and was holding a sign with our name on it. It was much easier to find than all the other tours we've been on.

The instructions on how to get to Frascati were excellent. Pier was very chatty and knowledgeable as he drove us around the area and invited us to sample some of the local produce. A great tour and well worth it.

Highlight of our trip! We spent 3 enjoyable hours with Piero experiencing the beauty of the area. If you want to escape the hustle of Rome and enjoy a day like a local this tour is a must. The views were incredible and the food tastings delicious. My favorite part was sitting in cafe overlooking the lake sipping espresso with fresh Nemo strawberry tart. Thank you Piero for a wonderful day.

The whole excursion was a lot of fun, despite a bit of rain. The area is so beautiful. Pier was very personable and funny. He shared a lot of interesting stories and fun facts about the places we visited. All of the tastings were lovely. He even played a guitar and sang a couple songs at a tavern we stopped at — what an unexpected treat!

Beautiful way to spend a half day while in Rome. Frascati where our tour started is a short 1/2 hour train ride from the central station. We visited 3 beautiful countryside cities rich in history and known for its agricultural products, food, and wine. It is a beautiful area with hills, forests and lakes. Many residents of Rome visit here to escape the crowds and heat of Rome. Our tour guide Pier was knowledgable of the region and spoke great English.

Wonderful tour of Castelli Romani. Pier was a great tour guide, taking my wife and I through three towns, telling us all about the history of the region, the locals, the weekend "invaders" from Rome, the geography and geology of the area, and a little known fact about one of the volcanic lakes in the winter. We also got to taste some wines, liqueurs and food, had cake with cappuccino and walked through an medieval underground cistern that's now part of a restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Pier, and we highly recommend his tour. It is truly out of the ordinary!

What an amazing day we had! Thank you so much Pier for making our visit to castelli Romani unforgettable!! The charming hilltop little towns with breathtaking views brought us serinity and so much joy. One of the beautiful areas close to Rome with stunning views. We arrived half hour early and our guide Pier was so accomodating and showed up as soon he could. We could tell he had so much pride and love for this area. Very patient and funny too.

Wow! Getting out of Rome was needed after a few days. Pier was the best tour guide ever. He has a great personality and is really knowledgeable about his hometown region. It’s a beautiful tour of the churches, countryside, lakes and villages where we stopped for dessert and cappuccino. We paid a little extra for after the tour where he took us to his friends vineyard and winery for lunch and wine tastings! Best part of the trip with some great little surprises we didn’t expect. Absolutely add this lunch/ vineyard addition to your day. Piers love of this region is genuine and he is fun to spend the day with.

Our guide Pier was knowledgeable and showed us the cities of Castelli Romani - each with their own personalities. His passion and pride for the region was infectious and we marveled at the history, the churches, the architecture, the lakes, the forest, the Nemi strawberries, and, of course, the Frascati wine.

Wir wussten bis zu diesem Ausflug nicht das der letzte schottische Prätendent „ Bonnie Prince Charlie“ in Frascati beerdigt wurde. Der Leichnam wurde einige Jahre später nochmals nach Rom umgebettet jedoch blieb sein Herz in Frascati.
