It was so nice to travel the area without worrying about parking or making decisions about where to go first. Everything was planned for us. We were able to relax and enjoy. We also learned so much about the area that we wouldn’t have learned otherwise. Our guide, Paula, was fantastic. She made sure that we were able to see all the things that were important to us. She was very knowledgeable, fun and kind!

Absolutely great experience, worth the money! Open air ride that was so much fun. Saw buffalo, antelope, prairie dogs, donkeys, deer, long horn steers. The kids loved it! Our guide, Paula, was knowledgeable and related well to the kids! She was the best, so very accommodating!
Most definitely recommend this tour!!!

We had an incredible time on our tour with Scott! We had only a limited time to be in the Black Hills and Custer State Park, and we never could have seen everything and learned all the history, trying to do it all by ourselves. The tour was worth every penny!
And Scott took us to the best picture spots and took pictures of us, as well, in those spots; so we will have awesome memories for years to come.
We highly recommend this tour!

We had the best time and saw bison and donkeys and antelope and mule deer and prairie dogs. Lunch options would be awesome moving forward in the cold months but Cheryl was amazing and we ate in the vehicle to stay warm.

Hi Angelo - Thank you for your review. The shoulder seasons (October November) weather can be a bit unpredictable. The best thing is we use our glass top Sprinter with a sliding top so we still get to see everything and also have the ability to open when we get near the wildlife. Thanks again for your review. Take this excursion! You won’t regret it! Our tour guide Cheryl was the best!!! Although the government was closed, Cheryl did a great job amending our travel route to give us the best experience.

T.J. was a wonderful guide. Very engaging and knowledgeable about the area.
The rating for him is a 5, but the van was very noisy and windows were too low for sightseeing, so 4 overall.

This tour is a long day. It's an overview without a lot of detail. The lunch provided was not very good....for the price of this tour we expected better. This was not our tour guide's fault...she was just doing what she was told to do. She was very nice, but basically relied on the videos at each location to inform us and was simply a chauffer.
Overall this was extremely overpriced for what you got and I would not recommend it to a friend.

Hi Judy - I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your tour or the picnic lunch.
It is a long tour day. It includes the three most popular attractions in the southern Hills and is 160 miles of driving. The tour is designed for visitors that only have one day here and want to see the most they can. The tour is a combination of our two most popular . . . Mt Rushmore/Crazy Horse and our Jeep Bison Safari. The tour was originally over 12 hours in duration, but at the suggestions of our guests it was decided to shorten the time spent at each of the monuments and the tour is now about 10 hours.
Stopping at one of the Park restaurants for lunch adds extra time to the already long day, so we purchase your choice of picnic lunch items from Custer Park General Store.
*In discussing the tour with your guide, I found out that the General Store no longer offers made to order fresh to-go sandwiches and salads. She said that her only choice at that time was a Deli Express type for your picnic. I apologize for not providing our usual quality picnic. I have authorized a partial refund to you through the third party seller Viator.

This might look expensive but well worth every cent! Mike and Will (the jeep) were amazing! So accomodating and so much information. Even though this was one day I feel like we had days of sight seeing packed in but never felt rushed or over welded! Thank you so much! Best day of our 3 week holiday!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Kevin did a great job driving us safely throughout all of the sights and we saw and learned so much by having a guide. There is no way we would of seen near as much as we did if we had not booked this tour. Driving the needles highway is some intense driving if your not used to very high tight roads and no way I could of enjoyed it as the driver. Being able to actually relax and see the sights was absolutely worth every penny. Our group of 5 loved the experience and 100% would do it again.
