My experience with Viator tour was a disaster. Their tour never happened. I booked another tour locally and it was GREAT. Viator tours sent me a couple of text from telling me how to download my tickets for the tour. So I assumed everything was a go. So I got my tickets but then the morning of the tour we waited outside of your hotel for the bus to pick us up. No bus when I finally got a correct telephone number to call the tour group said they are not running any tours this summer and the tour group keeps telling Viator Tours but they keep taking people's money. Hopefully I will get a refund soon. I did end up getting on a tour from a local tour and it was wonderful . Please wait till you arrive and book your tour locally.

Bruce our driver was excellent.
The bus was another story.
1. Overhead air adjustment missing.
2,Right overhead speakers worked maybe 15 % of the time. Cutting in and out.
3. Very Annoying
4. No leg room, cramped.

Bruce our driver was so friendly and knowledgeable. We all enjoyed him so much. The itinerary was great and interesting. Learned lots of interesting facts of history. Just loved seeing Mt. Rushmore- it was amazing as well as Crazy Horse work of art and background.

The bus driver was very knowledgeable and humorous in giving us information of the history, routes, and construction of Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monuments, as well as the Norbeck Highway into Custer and the Needles Highway.

After being in South Dakota (Rapid City) for two days and driving since deplaining to explore various sights, including a 2.5 hour trip to North Dakota, it was a pleasure to sit back and relax on this AMAZINGLY commentated tour. Bruce was a human library of knowledge when it comes to South Dakota, the Black Hills, and everything in between! Let's not forget his OUTSTANDING driving skills while navigating us throughout the winding roads with narrow, one-way tunnels, several switchbacks, and the looped bridges of Iron Mountain, with a calmness that only comes with repetition. I will definitely recommend this trip to anyone visiting Rapid City or a nearby place that is interested in seeing Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, having lunch in the quaint town of Custer, Custer State park, and Iron Mountain all in one day without feeling rushed!

The best part of the tour was Mount Rushmore and also our great guide and driver Bruce. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were very disappointed with the Crazy Horse memorial because we expected it to be further along in its progress and also the poor viewing angle.

Neal was an excellent tour guide. He had a very positive attitude and provided a wealth of accurate historical information as well as tips at each site. He was clear about when everyone needed to reboard and where he would meet us, and it was great to have someone else maneuvering around those switchbacks and pig tail turns.

Neil did a wonderful job of history in the area and pointing out sites while driving. Recommend this as an alternative to driving so you have the ability to enjoy the sites of the national forests and parks.

The whole day was a wonderful experience. Our driver Neil was great and shared information the whole way. Mt Rushmore was awesome and we liked the hiking trail for a closer view. Crazy Horse was an unexpected treat- with lots of background information shared by our bus driver. This bus tour is the way to go! All the highlights - we just sat back and enjoyed.

This bus tour was very informative. Mount Rushmore is amazing. The Crazy Horse memorial was very interesting. I would recommend taking the extra bus ride that is available at Crazy Horse I learned a lot from that tour guide. The drive in Iron Mountain rose was unforgettable. Our tour guide had a lot of fun information about the surrounding area.

Our driver and commentator, Bruce, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The trip to Mt. Rushmore was amazing and you had quite a bit of time to go around the presidential trail. At the crazy horse memorial we decided to go via the tour bus to the base and got closer photos of the sculpture. Bruce recommended we start with this and was worth it for that stop. If you have extra time you can go through all other attractions at this location. Going through the tunnels framing Mt.Rushmore was another highlight of the trip. Great tour overall!!

What a great tour! Thanks to the hospitality of this tour company, the bus picked us up in Keystone, South Dakota right on time and Bruce was there to welcome us. We went first to Mount Rushmore which was perfect timing as it was first thing in the morning, the sky was a brilliant blue and the July crowds were minimal. We were given ample time to reflect on the beauty of this national monument and one of the members in our group had plenty of time to walk the Presidential Trail as well. Our next stop was the Crazy Horse Memorial and once again we were given ample time to have lunch, watch an informative movie and take lots of pictures. We then took a short tour through the town of Custer on our way to drive through Custer State Park. Our tour was completed with a drive on the iron Mountain Road which was thrilling. Bruce, our tour guide, was excellent; he was cordial, very knowledgeable and accommodating to the tour members. Highly recommend as this tour knows all the best places to go, visits them in a timely manner and saves you gas!

Our first trip to South Dakota and was immensely impressed with the abundance of history and culture. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We had a great time at Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Amazing to see Mt. Rushmore. We were inspired by the story of Crazy Horse history.
