Great day with Cheryl and Scott on this amazing trip to Devil’s Tower, Spearfish Canyon and Deadwood! Flexible activities based on our ability and expectations. Cheryl had some wonderful stories about the history and events in Wyoming and South Dakota. Loved every minute of the day and would absolutely recommend this tour.

Charlie was a great guide. Trip to Devil’s Tower is about 2 hours away but worth the ride. Please do get to Devil’s Tower early otherwise you will be stuck in a long line. We arrived around 9:30

Devil's Tower was amazing and we really enjoyed Spearfish Canyon.

Tour Guide Mike was on time. He was great company and kept us entertained with good conversations.

The driver Kevin was extremely nice. He was personable and professional. The vehicle on the other hand was a different story. It needed to be cleaned and was old and uncomfortable. Considering the price I would expect something more… windows that were clean, doors that worked and a much more comfortable ride. I would not recommend this excursion to anyone. Find another bender to see SD.

The only good part of this tour was the devil tower. Spearfish and deadwood had nothing unique or exited to see.
The worst site seeing was deadwood, I practically just passed through a dead town with old buildings.
I paid for a private tour, and thus private tour just drove us to the destination and sat in the vehicle.
I would not recommend this tour guide or package to any one. Especially for the price of close to 1000 for 2 people.
This packaged was recommended by the viator sales representative, and me not knowing the geographic area I was depending on Viator representative to guide me to the best seeing sites tourist and package. I thought I was going to be able to see nature animals, beautiful lakes, and other unique geographic area. But instead got the experience of visiting local community park, and hiking.
Even in my home town we have more beautiful view of local community park than Spearfish had.
And sioux falls water fall parks is much more beautiful than Spearfish.
I am grateful that a refunded is going to be given to me. I did not get the package that I wanted out of experience and the tour guide did not even do a private tour with me.

To future travelers: I would like to address this unique tour situation and more importantly, provide some suggestions about reserving your tours in the future.
1. This Private tour was purchased through a third party - Not directly with our company.
2. Because of flooding in Iowa, Geraldine called and said she would miss her tour date the next day. She asked if she could move tour to another day. I agreed to move the tour (expecting to still receive payment for the tour). The tour guide, who was supposed to have that day off, provide them the full tour to Devils Tower.
3. This was a Private tour with just the two of them.
4. I was not contacted by Geraldine the day of the tour or after, about any problem. She didn't mention anything to the guide about being upset or disappointed about the tour. Prior to this review we didn't know she was unhappy.
5. She has received a 100% refund from the third party seller because of force majeure (flood canceled her first tour date).
6. We provided a tour the next day expecting to be paid by the guest. We have not been paid.
For travelers to avoid future reservation problems,
I suggest:
*Purchasing direct with the tour providers and ask them pertinent questions about the tour.
*Spend some time researching the destinations, attractions you want to visit before purchasing.
*During a tour - if you feel something is wrong, speak to the guide - Allow the guide to address your concerns at that time.
*Failing that - please contact management and explain your concerns. Allow them an opportunity to resolve any problems.
*Failing that - If guide or management can't or won't work with you - Write a negative review.

Definitely worth seeing Devil’s Tower, Spearfish Canyon, and Deadwood. Devil’s Tower & Spearfish Canyon are amazing forms of nature and Deadwood, definite historical interest and beautiful views. So good to have someone else drive so all the views can be enjoyed and you can make sure you arrive via the best route.
