Start this Rainbow Springs small-group glass-bottom kayak tour by making your own way and meeting at KP Hole Park in Dunnellon. Once you check in with your guide and group, get your equipment for the tour and get ready for a fun few hours on the Rainbow River.
Paddle along in your glass-bottom kayak, taking in views above and below the water. See local wildlife, with possible sightings including otters, alligators, and turtles. Your guide tells you about the Florida-area ecosystem as you go and points out key highlights, too.

Our tour guide Sara was absolutely amazing and patient, I traveled with my 18yr old and 10year old and they both absolutely loved it. She was so nice, kind, patient, and engaging. We saw some absolutely beautiful things rainbow river is so gorgeous. She provided us with some amazing videos and pictures that was so beyond worth it all!!!! Ill be recommending this to everyone i know what a great way to experience Rainbow river. The see through kayak was very awesome as well.

The kayaks are tandem…we missed that so were very surprised when we arrived. The kayaks seats are not rear friendly. Two hours was long enough. Andy, our guide took great care of us and was very informative. The scenery and nature was beautiful. We saw eagles, turtles, alligators, ducks, a variety of birds and many underwater caves and springs.

Everything was exactly as it was described. You put in at KP Hole and then paddle upstream for a little bit to check out a spring fed creek that feeds into the river, which was super cool. Then you continue on upstream, checking out some spots where the springs come up directly under the river. Then you get to a point where you turn around and mostly float back the beginning. Our arms were pretty tired after we got done! We saw ducks and herons on our trip. Our guide was Gabe and he did a great job of explaining everything and giving us some background on the spring fed ecosystem of Florida.

We were not paying attention to the proper directions and went to the Rainbow Springs entrance instead of the KP Hole location and ended up being 5 to 7 minutes late, rather than 15 minutes early. We called this company (Get Up and Go) and told them we were coming, but not to hold up the other kayakers. Our guide, Andre, insisted that he would entertain the other guests with some nearby features and stories (which he did very well as the others in the group told us later) and then get us set to join the others. The river trip was great with Andre providing just the right amount of information about the area but was always prepared to give us more when asked. He was a perfect guide who managed to find us a family of river otters that hung around us for some time and he also took us on an amazing side trip into a long, narrow inlet that seemed to be a crystal clear, turquoise lazy river extending into Jurassic Park! One helpful hint(besides requesting Andre as a gude)... try to aim for a sunny day. The water is at its most vibrant blue when sunny but it was still a beautiful emerald green when the clouds took over!

Don’t be late at all. They will leave without you. That was our fault admittedly but unfortunately they will give zero refunds and not try to offer a later trip. I’m sure it was pretty but we will never know.

We're sorry missed your 12pm tour with us. We did reach out to see if you needed help finding your guide but had to leave a VM. We do have scheduled departure times to ensure the best possible experience for all guests and we communicate early arrival guidelines clearly. Your guide waited an extra 30 minutes. While our policy doesn't allow refunds, if you had called earlier than 2:30, we might have been able to get you on our 3pm tour.

Sam took us up a hidden creek where we got out of the boat, walked on sand and saw sand boil. We followed from a distance 4 river otters, and later a family of ducks with ducklings, and saw many birds. The way back down the river was very relaxing and the whole experience amazing

A beautiful area to Kayak with crystal clear water. Be prepared to get wet. Some water will collect in the you kayak while sitting. I suggest wearing water shoes and have a complete change of cloths in your car. Possibly not an issue on a hot sunny day? We were there on a cold overcast day. Guides Sam and Bria were great, need to stay close to the front or you will miss all of Sam’s info. Beautiful walking trails a few miles away.

It was an amazing trip. My husband and I kayak in New York where we live but this was by far the best trip we took. Our tour guide Andras was also amazing he told us all about the different animals we came across and held fun engaging conversations with everyone the whole time to. He made sure everyone was having a good time and offered to take pictures of everyone while we were out.

Brilliant experience for the price. Sara was our guide and she was lovely, so kind and informative. We were even running late due to traffic outwith our control despite leaving so early to get there! she was so understanding and patient. She took wonderful pictures of us without us even asking and went to the trouble of emailing them over - completely free of charge, a kindness
not often found in tourist experiences nowadays. I definitely reccomend this fun and thrilling experience, we loved every minute of it. The sights, the adaptability of the tour and guide, and the time we had out on the water were well worth the low cost.

Angel was wonderful and full of laughter and fun. He was very helpful. Jumping off the tree was one of the best experience that I had on my whole day trip that day.
