What To Expect
Make your own way to the Wild Florida Safari Drive Thru Park for a self-driving adventure. Take your time and enjoy the comforts of your own vehicle without having to squeeze onto a tour bus or follow a group schedule.
Look out for the many exotic residents of the park that you wouldn’t normally be able to see in Florida, including zebras, wildebeest, oryx, and much more. Stop wherever you like (and wherever it’s safe) to take photos as you’re in control behind the wheel. Enjoy hand-feeding the giraffes if you like (extra cost), and get admission to the Gator Park too, where you can see alligators.

Saw lots of animals, up close! Well worth the money especially with the Gator park included! I only wished we were allowed to pet some.

Go early . Animals more active. It's a good ride thru. Lots of different Savanna animals. Would like to have seen the giraffes closer up. Did feed one but it was over in 15 sec.

It was fun for all ages that attended! My kids range from 11-18 and they had a blast and loved it! The price for the adventure was well worth it! The walk through park was extremely clean and everything was wheelchair accessible for my mom!

Others should know that they should wear their wristbands and carry their white or orange tickets for the giraffe feeding. Make sure that you keep your windows up around the emu.

I'd you're planning on having lunch at the Chomp House Grill you might want to get there by 11:30 am to get ahead of the lunch crowd and not have to stand in line so long. We enjoyed seeing the various animal displays in the Gator Park. I hadn't realized that it was free to walk through. Traveling through the Safari Park was an interesting and fun experience. What a wide variety of different animals to see. The brochure that they give you before you enter is great at helping you recognize which animals are which. Definitely worth the visit.

This experience was amazing! This was our second time and we enjoyed it the same as our first time! Love seeing all the babies!
Kyliyah_P, Mar 2026
I really enjoyed getting to see all the animals and my favorite part of it was getting to feed the giraffe and take a picture with fluffy the alligator.

It was fast and easy to book the event. The event itself was fun! Hope to return soon. Thanks a lot!

No pressure to rush the drive. You can drive through at your own pace. Plenty of close up views of almost all of the animals in the magazine.
Charlene_M, Mar 2026
This is a great family friendly safari. We enjoyed the wide variety of animals. It was nice to drive through, at our own pace and extra fun as we arrived at feeding time and that gave us an even greater advantage in seeing the animals up close as they ate.

I took my elderly mother to Wild Florida for the afternoon and she absolutely loved it! I don’t think there’s a better value for the money in Florida.

Relaxing, easy to drive thru, lots of animals. Can stop and watch them and stay for as long as you like.
Renee_G, Feb 2026
We have a good time driving through the safari, we loved how close the animals got to our vehicle. The Gator Park was also lots of fun.
Tammi_M, Feb 2026

Phillip_D, Feb 2026
It was a fun drive and a great value. There were a lot more animals than I expected and a huge variety
Barbara_M, Feb 2026
What a great safari experience. Lots of different animals to see up close with lots of room for them to roam. After the drive through we went to the park and saw even more animals up close. Really enjoyed this.
Arianna_V, Feb 2026
Fun! Exactly as advertised with additional options available like feeding the giraffes. Overall fun experience but gets a bit boring at the end
Valery_J, Feb 2026
Very boring ride in my opinion. Same animals repeated. Giraffes at the end and they’re not close enough to the cars. Wouldn’t do it again.
Kathleen_E, Feb 2026
So many different animals to see. We really enjoyed looking at them all together and they seem to be very well taken care of
Kristen_H, Feb 2026
It was amazing, my husband thought it would be a cheesy park, but he was totally surprised it was not. The shows in the gator park was good and they were patient with all the question and very knowledgeable
StanTeresa_M, Feb 2026
We were able to see animals up close during the drive-thru. Staff friendly. The Gator Park was also very nice to walk through. Their frozen drinks were great!
Jill_T, Feb 2026
Its a nice easy drive through. Lots of deer and buffalo. I reccommend feeding Walter the Giraffe, he is cool!
Not many people there when we went, however its easy to pass or pause as the roads are wide.
brendon_f, Feb 2026
Really nice day out. Lovely slow pace and interesting exhibits . The whole place is very clean and the animals look really well cared for.
Maryann_S, Feb 2026
Your Emu wouldn't let us pass as it kept trying to tap the side windows. When the guys threw the buckets of grain out, all the bigger animals kept the smaller ones from getting any of it.
John_M, Feb 2026
It's a long and beautiful drive to the Safari if you're traveling from Orlando.. but the Safari and the Gator Park are definitely worth it such a great value for $35 a ticket.. we saw some beautiful animals and shows It was such a beautiful property and we really enjoyed it..
Ronald_W, Feb 2026
Fantastic visit and with well maintained grounds, they obviously care a lot for these animals!
Side note, I did hear one of the gate personnel complaining about a visitor within blatant ear shot.
So if you don’t want to be talked about behind your back by the overweight kid from Stranger Things, be sure to be on your Ps and Qs.
Amy_D, Feb 2026
It was so much fun everyone loved it, my kids are all in their 20’s and loves it We will for sure go back
greg_g, Jan 2026
Lots of animals. It’s nice to have the overview of each animal via podcast but it would be better if they were in order when you see the various species.
Mekeba_T, Jan 2026
It was amazing, my family loved the animals we took so many pictures and my daughter was able to feed the giraffe. And

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to both the Drive Through Safari and the Gator Park! This was our second visit to both and was just as awesome as our first one. We saw the exotic animal encounters and gator feeding show at the Gator Park. Lunch at the Chomp House was very impressive! The Safari was enlarged since our previous visit and was even more amazing with additional animals and large, open spaces for them to roam. These attractions are highly recommended and well worth the drive!
