We had a great time. John was an excellent guide and the trip was manageable for me alone with my 3 kids (9,10,13). My boys said they want to go back next weekend. They loved learning all the facts about Silver Springs and the animals. We saw a manatee, some gators, turtles, fish and lots of beautiful birds! Next time we hope to see a monkey and otter! You could definitely rent a kayak or Bring your own, but it was really nice to just show up and have everything handled for you. Plan to arrive an hour early in case you get lost!

Manatees swim under you

Within 5 minutes the manatees swam under our kayaks. Furthermore, cormorants turtles crocodiles and many fish seen. Only bad luck was due to thunderstorms we had to go back early.
