Just outside Orlando you’ll find Shingle Creek, the headwaters to the Florida Everglades. The quiet waters beneath a forest of cypress trees are the perfect spot to kayak, even if it’s your first time. I had such a nice time down at shingle creek, our tour guide Joshua was a blast! He was fun, remembered everyone's name, had alot of information about trees/plants/animals for us. We had a good group that were asking questions about the area, and it was really nice.
Although we didn't see a great deal of wildlife, whuch is fine with me it is WILDlife after a all. A couple of ospreys in there nest was pretty cool to see though.
Would definitely recommend!

Joshua was our tour guide for this trip. We were very lucky because there was only the two of us, and Joshua really took his time showing us the creek. He was very knowledgeable, sharing so many interesting facts about the trees, plants and animals, including all their Latin names, and he knew the bird calls. We saw baby alligators, a heron, turtles, an osprey and loads of fish as well as other things. We had an incredible time and we would definitely go again if we ever return to Orlando.

Josh is a great guide! We had a relaxing paddle down a beautiful creek/river, under a shady canopy of trees. It was so much fun learning about the flora and fauna of the area. Aside from the plant life, we saw turtles, different kinds of birds, snakes and baby gators! Any question you might have, Josh will have an answer. He was great about giving us tips as we kayaked. We had a great time!

Amazing guided tour by Josh!! The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The tour was personalized and we were able to really learn a lot of not only the land around us but also the creatures within. Couldn’t recommend any higher!! It’s a must do! Secret hidden gem:)

Fantastic tour very fun guide. He is fantastic. The river marsh we were in was beautiful and super close right in Orlando. One bad thing it’s over the airport a bit like your in an air show as well. I would for sure recommend it.

The guide was friendly and extremely informative, he was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience. He ran us thru a quick basic kayaking lesson, informed us what to expect and what to do in case of an emergency and made sure we were all prepared for the experience. He was full of information, the river is calm and serene, we saw birds, cranes, herons, lots of turtles and a large cat fish. The scenery along the tour is breathtaking, he allows you to go at your own pace and explore all the beauty that surrounds you. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in a relaxing paddle with gorgeous scenery along the way! The price is great and the trip is amazing!

Oh where do I start! Let’s start with the most kindness people who work here. Our tour guide Josh was not only knowledgeable but just a really nice guy. He just loves what he does, you can tell by his enthusiasm and energy. As far as the actual sights, you are surrounded by the most precious Eco system. I highly recommend this experience to all. Oh and don’t worry they will teach you how to paddle your kayak!!

Josh was such a great guide! He did a fantastic job of teaching us the basics of kayaking, and made sure we all kept up and felt included. He was friendly, funny and so knowledgeable about just about everything.
It was so much better than a similar kayak trip I'd done that week, although we saw more wildlife on that one. This was still a very enjoyable few hours, seeing a part of Florida that many overlook. It's such a shame - I highly recommend everyone does this. Parts of the river have quite strong currents, but Josh was great at helping us navigate through it.

Easy float through Shingle Creek enjoying local flora and critters. Our guide, Ryan, was knowledgeable in the area history and wildlife and made the trip casual and fun. We even got our gator pic of a rogue juvenile.

This was the first time we had experienced kayaking, but the staff had taken care of everything we needed down to water to drink. The scenery was lovely. It was a very enjoyable experience and we don’t plan waiting another 75 years to experience kayaking again.

Joshua was our guide and It’s impossible, not to be impressed by the amount of knowledge that this guy has!! So nice and welcoming and kind and so personable within three minutes of getting to know the group he had everybody’s name down!! If you are looking for a cool experience than look no furthur you wont be disappointed! Not the best most experience kayakers and we had no problem so don’t be nervous. Get out of your comfort zone and give this a chance. It was awesome and my 11 year old son had an amazing time!!

Had an awesome time on our guided kayaking tour. Initially booked a tandem kayak and the staff were super accommodating when we asked to change to two single kayaks instead. The staff were super friendly and were lots of fun! Our guide Ryan was very knowledgeable and patient with those of us who weren’t the strongest kayakers. Would definitely recommend and would go again!

Viator messed up the time of my kayak trip, telling me it was at 1pm and Cypress tour 10 am. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a guided trip anyway. Our guide Catherine was wonderful. She found a baby and then the momma alligator for us to see. Lots of turtles, osprey and beautiful Cyprus forest. An easy, very fun kayak!! Highly recommended!!!!
