Meet us at the kayak launch at the rear of the main parking area., look for the red shirts. Ask a ranger where the kayak launch is if you can't find it. The park can be busy at times. Please take into consideration of traffic on your way to the park. Please arrive 1 hour before your tour time.

- Kayak Weight Capacity - The maximum weight capacity for these tandem ( 2 people ) car kayaks is 410 pounds No single person can weigh more than 225. These kayak will not float you if you exceed the weight limit. We also offer paddle boards and solo (non clear) kayaks for this adventure. If someone in your group does not fit the weight capacity, no worries. We offer an option for non clear solo sit on top kayaks with a weight capacity of 300 pounds and non clear sit on top tandem kayaks with a weight capacity of 500 pounds, and paddle boards 250 pounds.le

What an amazing adventure! Chris was a wonderful tour guide. You could feel his passion for the local environment and wildlife. His history facts, local lore and jokes made the adventure that much more entertaining. We saw so many different species of birds, a variety of fish, turtles, alligators, a few Manatee (this was absolutely magical) and even a monkey! This trip surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend taking a trip with Chris.

Very informative. Paddling the boat is easy and you get up close and personal with the wild life. We even saw a couple Manatees.

We saw all the wildlife we were hoping to see and got back before the rain. Manatees, monkeys, gators and birds all around.

Great review! Guides make a true difference when going out on the water. You get their knowledge, experience, experience and honey hole spots too!
We had an amazing time. The water is gorgeous. Didn't see any monkeys, but there was a lot of wildlife to enjoy. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took photos of people in the group and shared them with us at the end of the trip. My sister invited a friend, who has never been to any of the FL springs. She enjoyed the trip very much!

We are glad you got to see some wild life! The gators are pretty neat so close yet just far enough away to admire. :) Let's do the 4 hr drift next time and see if we can find those monkeys! They have been out with their babies a lot lately!
Guide was knowledgeable, and very nice. It just seemed like a lot of money for the experience. The other kayak tour at the park was even more expensive. This one is the least expensive of the two.

Glad you had fun on the water! Pricing is very fair regardless. Our guides do not work for free BUT you are welcome to just rent the kayaks as well and go at your own pace without a guide. Come see us during manatee season and you will love it!
Chris was our tour guide he was a lot of fun and made sure we saw great sights and animals. We saw lots of fish, turtles, gators, manatees, otters and even monkeys. The water was crystal clear.

It was a great time! So many birds, turtles, and alligators. Unfortunately we didn't see the monkeys this trip. Calm waters, excellent experience!

We had such a great time in the beautiful waters watching the animals. The instructor is helpful and so wonderful but I wouldn’t suggest this excursion unless you have experience in a kayak.

We have short trips and we also do teach anyone who has never kayaked how to do so before getting on the water. Confidence is key my friend! Glad you had a good time though. :)
Wonderful outdoor experience for the entire family! Ashley was an excellent guide and she helped us spot several gators, a family of monkeys, fish, birds and a snake! It was so fun and felt very safe. Highly recommend seeing the beauty of Silver Springs on a kayak.

May be uncomfortable if you have back or leg problems. Saw no monkeys or manatees. Service and guide are great. River is beautiful. Lots of gators birds fish and turtles.

Our new seats are a few inches thick with a strong back for support that is perfect for shorter tours. We apologize if you feel the tour was uncomfortable. Wildlife is NEVER a for sure thing. The 4 hour drift is the best option to see the most wild life though. Please come see us on a 4 hour kayak tour. :)
Stay with the guide, if youre last in line,you miss out. Then the group moves on and you're not allowed the same viewing opportunity.

Thank you for the great review. We are currently working on some custom seats for the clear kayaks which will make them allot more comfortable.
The water was so crystal clear. We seen a lot of fish and turtles, even a huge soft shell . It was really cool. The alligators were out as well but didn't seem to care we were there as you keep your distance. Our tour guide Steve was the best of the best. Really informative and even took pictures of all of us as we paddled through the river. Such a great day had by all

From our view, this is must to do when visiting Silver Spring National Park. It gives you close up view of the crystal clear water and see the wildlife along the river paddling.

Fun trio but not allot of time to really look around and enjoy the views. Could not see through Kyack due to waiter build up in them.

You have the wrong company. We never rented to you ever and our equipment is better then any other company out there. We do 2 hour minimums also...
The tour was fun! Our guide was knowledgeable, and we saw plenty of alligators. Be aware that you are sitting in the bottom of the kayak and your legs/bottom will get SOAKED, so dress appropriately. I was extremely disappointed not to see any monkeys, since that was part of the advertisement. We also did not see any manatees but I was aware we were a little late in the season for that. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

We do NOT advertis mpnkeys will be seen for sure. We list the animals that can be seen on the tours. Also it is a water activity.. you will get wet... its kayaking. We are out of full blown manatee season. Only residents may be seen. unless you do full river. 4 hr drift has more chance to see manatees and monkeys.

While its not peak time of year to see manatees and there is no way of ensuring a monkey sighting we did see lots of wildlife, mainly gators, birds, turtles we within feet of our kayak. The staff was great and the 3 hour tour was exactly what my teens needed to begin working together as a team to make the boat go where it was meant to go. Justin was amazing and had lots of fun facts to share. We enjoyed tremendously

The only animal we saw were Cranes! I was highly disappointed. We drove from Orlando just to go to save money and to have a fun relaxing adventure. We paid our $70 ticket ahead of time. When we got there we still had to pay a $2/park fee. No big deal but when we went to the boats they made us pay an additional $8. More per person. They were really “nickel and dimeing” us. We did not see one monkey or a manatee. Everyone was confused at the kayak station. They were trying to tell us we had to pay different fees bc of it being a State park and private business. I was confused, didn’t care and just wanted to enjoy myself. It was an ok kayak ride through a small river just not what the description told us. We should’ve just stayed in Orlando!!!!!!! .

We don't control the state park's boat launch and entry fees. They are separate from us! We cannot guarantee the animals- this is not a zoo. It's real wildlife. There are tons of other wilde life like gators, turtles and such as well. We do apologize you did not enjoy your trip.

Our tour guide Steve knew everything about the animals and springs! By far the best tour we have been to on silver springs. He got us close to everything we wanted to see and explained everything of historic and ecological significance! Wonderful experience and would do it again in a heart beat.
