- Departure point is the Hamilton Aquarium Transit Center, 23 America's Cup Ave, Newport RI, platform #2 WHITE Trolley. Parking is available on site for a fee.
- The duration of this tour is 160-180 minutes depending on traffic conditions
- All tours depart promptly at their scheduled times
- This enclosed trolley tour operates rain or shine except during and after winter weather events which involve snow or ice
- Please do not meet directly at the Breakers mansion. You will visit the attraction during the trolley tour
- Youth under 17 must be accompanied by an adult
- Our drivers have updated manifests on their devices. Cancelled tickets are not accepted for admission
- These tours are NOT handicapped accessible. Folding walkers and wheelchairs are limited to 30 lbs. We cannot accommodate battery powered scooters and chairs.
- The trolley is not handicapped accessible.. Driver may assign seating based on customer needs

Our guide Troy made this such a fun tour! He was very knowledgeable and answered questions readily. The entire tour was about 3 hours which included a self tour of the Breakers

An excellent tour for about 3 hours, including Breakers. A lot of Newport was covered. Troy, the driver was very humorous, informative, and kept the audiences engaged. I wish the tour was a bit longer, possibly 3.5 hours, So Troy could slow down and spend a bit more time in spots of interest. I would highly recommend the tour for visitors spending a day in Newport. Parking is quite expensive ($5/hour) and Troy gave a vital info how to reduce the cost. Thanks to Troy!
Very informative and enjoyable. Learned about many aspects of Newport such as places to eat, history and activities. Enjoyed seeing The Breakers. Excellent value at a reasonable price.
The trolley tour was fun and The Breakers was a beautiful display of excessive wealth!
I don't think you should force solo travelers to sit next to strangers. The man who was forced to sit next to me made me extremely uncomfortable! He was making bigoted and racist remarks and kept touching me.
Traveling solo is hard enough without be forced into preventable situation. This was the only tour that forced a stranger upon me.

My family had a wonderful time on the trolley tour of the Newport mansions. Our guide, Rob, was a wealth of knowledge as well as very friendly and witty. The sights were incredible and learning the history of the area was even more so. We got to tour inside of the Breakers mansion which was stunning. It's been beautifully preserved and restored. It was like stepping back in time and it was simply beautiful. This trolley tour is absolutely the way to get the most out of an afternoon in Newport!

Our driver was named “Troy, the trolley driver”. He was excellent! Extremely knowledgeable with a whole lot of humor which made for a wonderfully entertaining and interesting tour. Troy has all the scoop and back stories for all of the mansion homes we visited. I would definitely recommend Troy in this tour the next time you’re in Newport Rhode Island.

Great informative tour with Trolley Rob! Lots of interesting facts given, with a little bit of humor too! The trolley itself was very comfortable! We would recommend this if you haven’t been to the area before and would also like to visit The Breakers Mansion. We enjoyed our self guided tour there on the beautiful estate! We could have used just a little bit more time there, but overall the day went perfectly! After the trolley tour, we had a nice walk around town and got lunch. Ron’s recommendation for pictures at The Forty Steps was a perfect way to end the day!
It was a very nice overview of Newport, although It felt a bit rushed. I would have liked it to be longer.

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour of Newport and visit to The Breakers.
Troy, our guide, was energetic, well informed, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He made our group feel comfortable from the get go. All in all a great introduction to Newport history, the construction and financing of the mansions and the families who spent summers in these “cottages”.
