- Departure point is the Hamilton Aquarium Transit Center, 23 America's Cup Ave, Newport RI, platform #2 WHITE Trolley. Parking is available on site for a fee.
- The duration of this tour is 160-180 minutes depending on traffic conditions
- All tours depart promptly at their scheduled times
- This enclosed trolley tour operates rain or shine except during and after winter weather events which involve snow or ice
- Please do not meet directly at the Breakers mansion. You will visit the attraction during the trolley tour
- Youth under 17 must be accompanied by an adult
- Our drivers have updated manifests on their devices. Cancelled tickets are not accepted for admission
- These tours are NOT handicapped accessible. Folding walkers and wheelchairs are limited to 30 lbs. We cannot accommodate battery powered scooters and chairs.
- The trolley is not handicapped accessible.. Driver may assign seating based on customer needs
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 36 travelers

This experience was informative, entertaining and a great way to spend a few hours in beautiful Newport.
This was a wonderful tour. I would highly recommend it! Our tour guide was fun & very knowledgeable. The Breakers is beautiful!

Trolley Rob was a terrific guide. Lots of knowledge and his comments were fun and spirited. We enjoyed the tour and The Breakers was beautiful. We couldn’t walk around the grounds due to some renovation work and that was a bit disappointing.
Trolley Car Troy was an excellent driver and guide. It was our third tour of the week and he was the best by far. The scenery and homes are magnificent and the Breakers was just beautiful.
This was an excellent introduction to the beautiful town of Newport. Our tour guide Carlos was a wealth of knowledge and funny too. Would recommend this tour.

The meeting place was a short walk from Perrotti Park, where cruise ship tenders arrive. Carlos, our tour guide was very informative and entertaining.
So amazing! We saw so many beautiful things and the tour of the mansion is indescribable! Recommended to anyone visiting Newport needs to add this to their visit!

Troy our Tour guide was fantastic, knowledgeable, personable and an excellent driver. Only complaint we had was that 90 minutes at the Breakers was about 30 minutes too long. That timeframe might be appropriate for summer crowds but was too long for when we did the tour in September
Fun way to get an over view of the mansions. Troy (guide and trolley driver) was a lot of fun! He had some good “dad jokes”. Definitely worth it.
Trolley Troy was great, he gave a ton of information on the sites we were seeing along with giving out some local spot secrets.
The trolley was a really great way to pack in a lot of Newport history in a short amount of time. Trolley Rob, our conductor, was entertaining, punctual and very knowledgable. Great value for the money. Highly recommend!
Trolly Troy was entertaining and informative. It was a little difficult to see some of the mansions as we were driving past but he did a great job giving the history and did pull over whenever possible
The Breakers was unreal! I can’t imagine living there
Trolly Bob, our trolley driver was great. He really make the show. He was informative and funny. We would recommend this activity, provided Trolly Bob (or maybe Trolly Rob) was the conductor.
Rob was a fantastic guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Highly recommend if you're in the area. The Breakers mansion was gorgeous.

I’m a Type 1 Diabetic and had a rough go the morning of the tour and missed the departure time by a few minutes. I messaged he company through the app and explained the situation and asked if we could our tickets to The Breakers. We’d miss the trolley portion but hopefully it wouldn’t be a total loss and we could still see the mansion. I never heard back from anyone. No one reached out with a response. I was super disappointed to miss out on the tour (chronic illnesses suck!), but was even more disappointed that I never heard back from the operator.
It was a fun and informative tour. Going through the historical spots of Newport, while getting a chance to visit magnificent mansions. And the inside walk in tour of the Breakers was quite interesting!! Great way to enjoy a vacation, whether you’re visiting for the weekend or whole week, make sure to take this trolley!! Also, the tour guide was funny and helpful. Highly recommended.
Trolley Rob was fantastic! He knew so much history of Newport and so descriptive on how the tour was going to go...amazing job! The tour was great! It took us by all the gilded age mansions which are incredible! Great experience!

Excellent introduction to the mansions of Newport, who built them and what their histories are. Culminates in a walking tour of The Breakers, Newport’s most gracious mansion. Well worth the tour price.
Convenient parking, easy to follow directions for meeting points, great itinerary, perfect amount of time for the ride and the Breakers tour. All topped off by Trolley Rob who was a great guide - funny and knowledgeable.
We really enjoyed the tour especially the narration provided by Trolly Rob - he made the tour well worth it. Provided little tidbits about Newport which were very fascinating.
Trolley Rob was entertaining and very knowledgeable. The Breakers were amazing to see along with the pass by tour of the Cliff Walk. I would recommend this tour if visiting Newport.
AMAZING! Did this with my whole family (bf, sisters, niece, and my mom)
We had a blast. Our bus driver gave amazing facts and was hilarious! Definitely made the experience feel welcoming and personable! He built rapport with everyone onboard makes us all feel like friends with one another which was cool when we were all touring the mansion together.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND!
I’m so glad we did this and if I go back to Rhode Island, I’ll look for more with this company.
