- Departure point is the Hamilton Aquarium Transit Center, 23 America's Cup Ave, Newport RI, platform #2. Parking is available on site for a fee.
- The duration of this tour is 160-180 minutes depending on traffic conditions
- All tours depart promptly at their scheduled times
- This enclosed trolley tour operates rain or shine except during and after winter weather events which involve snow or ice
- Please do not meet directly at the Breakers mansion. You will visit the attraction during the trolley tour
- Youth under 17 must be accompanied by an adult
- Our drivers have updated manifests on their devices. Cancelled tickets are not accepted for admission
- These tours are NOT handicapped accessible. Folding walkers and wheelchairs are limited to 30 lbs. We cannot accommodate battery powered scooters and chairs.
- The trolley is not handicapped accessible.. Driver may assign seating based on customer needs
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 36 travelers

Good way to see around without dealing with traffic yourself. Fun trivia bits. And the tip about the free bus ride and the parking lot saved us some money!

Perfect way to start a trip to Newport! The mansions are lovely but the tour does a great job at giving you the lay of the land. Would recommend doing the tour on the front end of a trip to give you ideas of where to return. Great recommendations, VAST amounts of interesting info, expertly delivered by the incomparable Trolley Rob! Just the right amount of time at the Breakers. A must do!

We had a huge family group of 20 people and the entire experience from booking to getting on the trolley was fantastic. Viator made special reservations since our group was so large and had all of our tickets ready for us when we arrived for our tour.

Pleasant tour, fun facts, on time, clean trolley...it was pouring rain...but the pick up area was covered and the guide took us as close to the places of interest. The Breaker is very grand. The house tour is self guided.

To bring ear pods, which you don’t mention anywhere-a little disappointing. Luckily my son shared with his girlfriend , so my husband and I could share his set. Trollley Rob made the whole trip -he was amazing!

However, your statement is incorrect with respect to you needing ear buds as you do not need ear buds to experience our tour. Ear buds are only recommended for the audio tour in the Breakers mansion. If you should happen to forget your ear buds you can simply pur your phone to speaker to your ear.

Our experience was very nice. We were able to see and learn about lots of places in Newport our driver Tony was great. He made the tour interesting and he was very personable. Getting to tour the breakers was a really cool experience and it broke up the tour nicely.

This tour was just fine. Trolley Rob was great but he talked entirely too fast. Its like he was trying to cram every piece of information every known about the route we took. At some point, I quite literally mentally checked out because I simply couldn't process any more information so I couldn't tell you what was said. This is couple with him pointing out areas, houses etc and basically saying if you look here you will see x, y,z but I would often not see what he was talking about and then we are moving on to the next one. This tour was packed by the way every seat was full so perhaps thats why I missed so much as I simply couldnt see over others. Tour etiquette is also not adhered too as this was the only tour where we got off at an attraction and came back and someone had taken the seats we were in. Every other tour we took everyone returned to there same seats. This tour was also strange in comparison to other tours I have taken in the past, in that we were asked to be back to the trolley at 2pm. We got back at 1:55 pm and by no means did we think we were going to be first but we were last getting back on the bus and everyone was settled in like they'd been back. At any rate, I realize this could possibly be a me issue in not being able to handle so much information but wanted to let others know in case you are like me.
