John was a great guide and very happy we decided to book with him and not go it on our own. We wanted to see Arches NP but also wanted to include a good hike - We did the Delicate Arch hike which was pretty amazing - he took us to various arches, did some rock scrambling with us, provided plenty of water and snacks, and was a wonderful photographer for us! Thank you for a wonderful day!

Private Tour - Arches National Park

This was a highlight of our trip. Our tour was operated by John at JGOutfitters. John called the week prior to talk about options for the day and to understand what we were looking to accomplish. We booked this private tour for our first full day. He picked us up at our hotel. It was wonderful to have a guide as we were able to take in the views and save a lot of time with John navigating. We selected some shorter hikes to see different arches. John also drove us to the other areas in the park we were planning to visit during our trip so we knew how to get there, where to park, etc. John has a lot of knowledge about the area -- added bonus, he is a good photographer. We have great pictures from our tour with him. Would recommend to anyone looking for a private tour.

A Special Experience!

What a special first time for our family of four. Prior to our Moab adventure John reached out to help plan our guided tour. He was interested in knowing what we’d like to experience and see. We had some physical limitations that we were concerned about but John was very thoughtful and considerate when planning our tour. Ellen was our guide. Can I say the best?!? She was very knowledgeable, kind and made our experience the most memorable. I can’t imagine a better guide. I highly recommend JG Outfitters.

This was an amazing tour with an amazing tour guide. Since it was private, we set our own pace. We were able to see a lot, do some hiking and even a bit of AMAZING 4x4. Definitely recommended.

Saved Our vacation!

First time in Moab and had big plans to see Arches National Park. Unfortunately my broken ankle wasn’t healing as quickly as I would’ve liked. After listening to what we wanted to see, John was able to guide us through a day that allowed us to hike and see almost everything by giving us the confidence to explore more than we would have on our own. He would hang back with me when needed, allowing my husband to run up ahead with the kids to see Delicate Arch. And got all of us up to Double Arch, the Windows, Turret Arch and the Sandbox without any trouble. Only thing we didn’t do was Devil’s Garden because we ran out of time. He had a constant supply of snacks, fruit and water. And he was a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area. He got us some great family pictures and even urged us to call him if we had any questions for the remainder of our stay in Moab. Easy going, professional and thoughtful. We would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Our family of 4 (including kids ages 10 and 8) toured Arches and John knew all the secrets to avoid the crowds and get great views and photos. We also did some off roading which the kids LOVED! A fantastic way to start our Moab experience.
