Meet your guide in the morning, afternoon or about two hours before sunset, and prepare to traverse the slickrock terrain of Hell's Revenge near central Moab on this off-roading 4x4 adventure.
After a safety briefing, slip behind the wheel (or join as a passenger) in your 4-seater Kawasaki Teryx 4, a UTV. Follow in a caravan to the Hell's Revenge Trail, located just 10 minutes from Moab. Aptly named, this roller-coaster route includes steep inclines such as Devil’s Backbone. You’ll traverse the ridge before you descend into Lake Michigan, named for the water that collects in a low point in the narrow canyon.
Stop near Lion’s Back to find fossilized dinosaur tracks before continuing on to Echo Canyon, which boasts panoramic views of towering sandstone cliffs above an oasis of cottonwood and willow trees.
Glimpse the La Sal Mountains and cast your gaze over Abyss Canyon; then, motor off-road to an overlook above the green ribbon of the Colorado River—a view enhanced by the sunset (if option selected)—before your tour ends back in Moab.

We did the sunset Hell's Revenge Tour with our guide Danny and had an amazing time. We had 3 people and were able to ride together in the same vehicle, which was so much fun as we had moments of fear, thrills and laughs all in one! Danny was a great coach to the group and showed us exactly what to do. We had a chance to see some awesome sights along the way too. Highly recommend, this experience is first class and so is Danny and the rest of the team!

The whole outing is high adrenaline from start to finish with a beautiful sunset at the end. Just do it, you will have a blast.
Very popular off road trail. Recommend come in the morning. Weather is good early morning. And less crowded and traffic if come early. Guide is Carter and he is friendly. We had few stops and walked to the scenic view points. The car is powerful enough to climb the hill.
Early morning was a terrific time to take this thrilling ride through the sliprock just east of Moab Utah. The UTVs were ready, and clean, the registration process a breeze, with good parking and a nice facility. Our wonderful tour guide, Danny was experienced and very friendly, made each participant welcome. Then came the ride! Thrilling tracks through the canyons and up along ridges, with spectacular views, even the Colorado River! With a few stops to catch our breath and learn something about the landscape, it was a great time for all, drivers and passengers, and for all ages.
Early morning better, as the trails got more vehicle action later in the morning.

This was an amazing experience and well worth the money. I was a little nervous going into it, but our guide Connor did the best pep talk and we had the best time ever! It was so much fun and the energy was fantastic!
The guide was amazing and you don't need to have any experience to do this trip. Just book it and you will not regret one second of this adventure. I thought I was knew off roading but I'm from the Midwest. This does not even compare it is amazing what the machines will do in that terrain I was truly Blown Away this is a must-do for anyone of any skill level. Carter was our guide and he was fabulous. I can't say enough about this place you have to do it.
What a THRILL! 5 week trip and this was definitely a highlight!! Was it scary? Yup! Was it exciting? Yup! Definitely got the adrenaline pumping. Danny was a great guide and made sure everyone was having fun while being safe. Would love to do it again!!

Jesse was a great guide -- this is an experience of driving over crazy rocks -- not so much for going fast! High recommend this activity and the views are stunning. If you are scared of heights this is NOT for you.

One of the best experiences. This is definitely a must do activity in Moab. The UTV was extremely powerful and surprisingly easy to drive, and the views from the mountaintop were absolutely breathtaking. Our guide, Carter, and the staff were super friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Pure adrenaline and incredible views! Taking the 6:00 PM sunset tour on Hell's Revenge was hands-down the highlight of our Moab trip. Driving the UTV up and down steep slickrock fins got the heart racing, but the equipment felt solid and safe. Watching the sun dip below the horizon and light up the red rock landscape made the experience unforgettable. Our guide was top-notch, leading the way with great safety tips and spot-on driving instructions. Do not hesitate to book this!

Was soooo much fun. Carter was an awesome host. He helped us crush those hills without fears and made us feel so safe driving ourselves. Definitely doing this again! Is cooler than ai thought it would be!
It’s packed with constant fun. Some sketchy parts but overall enjoyable. Trust that your tour guide knows what they are doing. Trust your car… they are capable of everything on the trail.

Clint was an awesome guide. We had a great time and he gave us the opportunity to watch other drivers get in and sometimes out of jams. They were great accommodating a third. Pricing was a bit weird as I thought the third was cheaper via Viator. Viator call center was not very helpful but that was not the tour’s problem
Our guide was Carter, he was fabulous. Safety was number one with him and he checked with every driver multiple times along the way. He made the trip unbelievable, so exciting and memorable. I can’t say enough about this gentleman. What a character he is!
We were also amazed by the vehicles being used by this company how well they were engineered and got us through this drive
Carter was a great guide! We went on several trails I wouldn’t have had the confidence to do on my own. He took the time to show us some unique details of the area and was very entertaining. Would do this again when back in the area.

First off, shout out to my guy Ben! He struck the perfect balance (pun not intended) of watchful guide, and thrill seeking catalyst! From the jump, I was white knuckling the wheel as we went over what felt like near vertical rock dunes (the only way to explain it) with sheer drop offs on either side. How these buggies didn’t lose traction, or go topsy-turvy, whirling dervish, front over end and sideways with some of the crazy cantering angles we were hitting, I have no clue, but following nose to butt end, we powered through some incredible climbs and saw some incredible sights along the way!
Honestly, when I was looking up Dune Buggy tours I initially passed this one over, thinking it’d be a little mundane based on how closely the vehicles were following behind one another. I figured it’d be a slow ride over some gentle hills. A mistake I’m glad I didn’t make. You are literally playing follow the leader, and I found following Ben’s ties as closely as possible to be an unexpected and thrilling technical challenge!
I came in looking for speed, and left having experienced a truly staggering adventure.

Ps! For those looking for speed, you’ll definitely have your moments. Don’t be afraid to gun it when you hit the sand berms! It was truly epic.
This is an EXCELLENT time. One of the most fun experiences I’ve had while traveling. Definitely worth it.
It was a fun experience but also caused my heart to race at times. Be sure to watch videos on this tour before going so you know what to expect. I would highly recommend it though, we had a great time!
If you do one this in Moab it has to be this. So much fun. A morning in Hell’s Revenge is way better than coffee. Our guide, Dane was very helpful and knowledgeable. Would 1,000% do this again.

My wife and I had an amazing time on this trip. Ben was our guide and he was excellent! Ben will tell you to trust your machine and follow him exactly and you will not have any issues. There were areas that I would have never attempted but trusting in Ben helped us have the most fun we have had in many years. Thanks, Ben, for a great experience.
Booked on the morning tour with Clint. He made the group feel safe and at ease, ahead of the short run out of town to the Hells Revenge area. There the UTVs were immense fun and Clint ensured we got the best out of the vehicles and terrain whilst delivering maximum fun. Given the challenge of the route, the vehicles were still really comfortable and at no stage did apprehension or soreness become a concern. In summary if you are wondering if this activity might be for you, just book it as you won’t have any regrets.
