Our tour was even better than I expected. Cody gave us a wonderful explanation of the geology, history, and biology. The drive was the perfect amount of bumpy and fun without being too much. He was great with our young kids. Lunch was tasty and the picnic spot view was amazing. The spots in both parks were not the same ones we would see from our rental car.

Marsha, our guide, was the best! She was quick to share her knowledge of history, geology, local color and more. She was an expert driver. She entertained us for the day with puddle ridding, off trail walks to find fossils, backroad views of the other-worldly formations, and a much appreciated, lovely lunch. Many memories were made.

If you have an Annual National Parks Pass, please bring this for your park entrance fee, otherwise you will need to purchase a day pass for each park individually for $15
Every 4x4 tour needs a minimum of 3 individuals to run. If your trip does not meet the minimum, you will be offered other tour options or get a full refund. (Another option is to pay for the 3rd fare)

Alan is a very nice, humble, and energetic guide. His driving skill is perfect. He knows the roads very well. He explains the places clearly. The lunch and ice water are good. Do not be afraid about the moderate fitness requirement. It is a 9 hour tour, but Canyonlands has very minimum walks, and Arches trails can be opted out. I am able to take great double arch and windows arches pictures without proceeding with the trails.

Marsha was great as we went into the Backcountry and saw things where “Normal” car will not venture into. We had 2 other gentleman onboard and I think we all had a blast on this trip. It started at 8am and did not end til after 6pm.

Matt was our driver and he did an Excellent job. We did the 9 hr tour & had a wonderful, breathtaking & exciting time. The rain didn't distract us from our adventure. Matt made us a healthy/delicious wrap with chips, fresh fruit & brownies. I would highly recommend this tour.

Stupendous - we viewed the Parks as I would not thought possible. We travelled the backroads and saw sites that physically we would not be able to see. The guide was throughly knowledgeable about the parks and history but taught us about the ecology and geology which was beyond expectation. Matt is the Best!

One of the best tours our group has ever taken. We were 6 people, so we got 2 vehicles, which we split for gals and guys). Courtney and Cody were just wonderful guides, extremely personable, knowledgeable and great drivers! The trip was mostly off road (you have an option for more gentle), and we all loved it!

Wow! What a great experience! Anne and Matt took me backcountry driving in both parks, it felt like the parks were to ourselves. We saw breathtaking views that few travelled to. They’re true experts and I highly recommend this tour! (Sorry I forgot Matt’s last name as there are many Matt’s! Ask for Anne and she will know!)

Truly an off road experience!

Wow! This was an adventure! Two parks in one day but did not feel rushed. Saw things most park patrons would never be able to because of the off road vehicle. We experienced the White Rim Trail and it was amazing! Sure is more fun when you are relaxed and not worried about your vehicle or having to drive it. We saw petroglyphs, wildlife, interesting points in the park. Had a very nice lunch picnic style. Our guide was Parker and we enjoyed just hanging out with him all day. He is very knowledgeable and navigated us safely through some really crazy stuff! The vehicle had our every confidence and we thoroughly enjoyed the power of traversing over things that I have never tried before. We enjoyed passing up some Jeeps on roads they pretty obviously thought were only theirs. Truly an amazing experience. Such a non traditional way to see some amazing things that most park enthusiasts don’t even know exist! We really enjoyed this tour company they are deeply rooted in the community and not a chain.

Our guide, Hayden, was knowledgeable and FUN! We got to see some beautiful back-country parts of Arches and Canyonlands, with several stops to get out of the 4X4 and learn about the geology while enjoying stunning views. The vehicle was in good shape and well-maintained. Hayden had a great sense of humor and made the trip a blast - highly recommend!

We anded up being the only couple on the tour with Matt as our guide. He was amazing. Extremely attentive and focused on tailoring our experience to us. It felt like a custom guided tour. We were able to see all the sights while getting out and hiking. He gave us great information regarding the landscape and history of the area. I can’t say enough great things about this trip.

Special ride through Canyonlands and Arches

Great 4x4 guided backcountry tour of Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. Loved the first half through Canyonlands and David was a very skilled driver. 2nd half of trip he seemed to lose interest and just drove us through Arches. Great lunch served. Is a bumpy ride in the back country but we loved that part.

Amazing opportunity to see the back country and view the parks from places that many other vehicles couldn't go. Ben knew so much about the history and was able to show us features that we wouldn't have otherwise appreciated. Had an unexpectedly delicious lunch in the middle of the desert. It's truly off-roading so don't expect a smooth ride - but Ben was an excellent driver and navigated with ease.

Arches and Canyonlands National Parks in a Lexus 4x4 AC

We did an all day 9.5 hour tour with Viatotor through Arches and Canyonlands National Parks in a Lexus 4x4 AC with our driver, Andy, and one other couple; definitely a small group tour. It was Phenomenal! Andy was the BEST guide; vibrant personality and fun loving. His tour was a perfect blend of archeology, history, facts and stories! He gave us a thrilling ride in remote terrain on “roads” that were BUMPY beyond description. We drove through areas of the two parks that only 1600 out of 3.2 million visitors get to see. Andy, whose degree was in culinary arts, created and served a fabulous lunch; we had a picnic on the patio at the Island of the Sky Visitor Center This was an excellent way to see and experience Canyonlands and Arches National Parks up close and personal! It was worth every penny and we highly recommend this tour!

This was an amazing journey! Our guide Joe M. Was informative and made sure we saw things that most people never see. He was also a great photographer and recommended prime shots and took several for us. We loved both Arches and Canyonland. Be ready for some rough terrain, but it was fun and we'll worth it!!!
