This Moab whitewater rafting tour begins in the middle of town, when you meet your professional whitewater guides at the central Moab office. From here, you’ll receive an intro and safety briefing and get loaded up in the van, which will shuttle you out to the Fisher Towers section of the Colorado River. With its soaring spires, vertical canyons, and deep red-hued rocks, this section of river feels blissfully remote, despite being so close to town.
Before boarding the raft for the splash-filled journey, get fitted with a lifejacket and listen as your guide explains the course of the river. Your guide will propel the raft by oars, so you can sit back and enjoy the scenic, sometimes bumpy, cruise. The rapids on this section are moderate and at their largest in early summer, when the snow melts. If you choose to paddle an inflatable kayak instead of riding in the raft, your guide will provide a paddling lesson and make sure you can follow commands.
As you make your way down the Colorado River, keep your eyes peeled for birds and wildlife that can often be seen on the banks, and listen as your guide explains the history and geology of the rocky canyons. At the end of the journey, after splashing down the river or going for a swim, your trip ends with a short ride back to downtown Moab.

It's a great float down the Colorado. Highly recommend getting in and getting wet. Eliasia was excellent and had some great stories. Well knowledged in the stretch of river. Can't wait to see Godzilla. Watch out for the beaver shark, it took a fish in a blink of the eye from the shoreline, Crazy! Big thanks to Carter who drives the speed limit. :D. Highly recommend!

Very well put together trip. The river was a chill float with a few fun rapid sections. A great family atmosphere. The guide (Will) was smart about the history of where we went and made a it a good time. I highly recommend doing this while visiting Moab.

This was a great rafting trip with kids! Michelle was a great guide, very knowledgeable and informative and great with our kids. The trip was relaxing, the rapids were small and did not feel dangerous, which was perfect for our family. Highly recommend.

Trevor was amazing. He kept conversations going between all of us so naturally that we felt we were friends the whole trip. The views and experience of floating down the river were memorable. The staff at the office were friendly and easy to work with. Definitely book with them!

We had a great rafting trip this morning with Will as our guide. He was full of information about the area and had tips for the remainder of our stay in Moab. The trip was very peaceful and quiet with a few small rapids. We got a small snack when we ended the trip. It was a great morning.

Lexi, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and dependable. We felt safe in her care, and had fun along the way. Our group, meets once a year and rarely do we do something so outdoorsy, so this was a nice activity to compromise with. Half of us jumped in the river and half of stayed in the boat and of one us did a little bit of both. This time of year, late August, the river was pretty low and tame, so we had just the right amount of adventure for us. We departed at 9am to beat the heat, barely because it was pretty hot at the end of our tour. Would recommend to anyone who would like a pretty tame day on the river, enjoying the sights and some wildlife.

This definitely appears to have more white water activity than it did. It’s basically a float trip. However, Clint, our guide was amazing! We did enjoy ourselves, but we’re disappointed at the lack of Rapids.. Clint made it very enjoyable

River trip was great! The guide was knowledgeable and very interactive with us. Even our 'cautious' family members felt safe and had a great time!
Parking is limited, so plan some extra time to walk to the meeting place.
