We had a great time on our rafting trip with our guide, Liz. She made the experience fun! We would highly recommend this excursion for a nice, relaxing way to see the area and enjoy the Colorado River.

Disappointing float trip with inexperienced guide

Disappointing. We were so excited to go whitewater rafting, but our guide didn't know the river at all, resulting in us hitting multiple rocks, getting stuck, and even moving backwards (!!) at one point. This is also NOT whitewater rafting - there were maybe two rapids in the whole excursion (in the biggest one we hit 2 rocks), so it's really a float trip. Combining that slow pace with someone not strong enough to row, and not having knowledge of the river, made the trip boring and awkward. At one point, when we were stuck, our guide mentioned that other tour companies give the passengers paddles so they can move faster. I wish we had gone with one of those tour companies! Definitely choose another option.

Kelly....We reached out to you and left a voicemail last week. We'd like to offer a credit of some sort but had not heard back from you. I know the two guides on that trip had their hands full as did all the river company guides that day with 21 mph upstream winds. The guide you had was a 30 yr guide and had been down that section several times. I reviewed the trip description on Viator as this trip is listed as scenic with a couple of smaller rapids and all based on water levels. I know we have posted on Viator the Westwater Canyon with the larger 3-4 rapids but that is a full day and considerably higher in price. Again, our apologies and if there is anything I can do to let me know.

We started our Moab vacation with this calm water rafting trip and it was everything we hoped for and more. Jacob was our guide and he was professional, skilled, and entertaining. He even loaned us his sunscreen, as the sun was more intense than we expected. We took the tour that started at noon, which included lunch and some free time to wade or swim in the water before the tour continued.

We had a Great time! The weather was just right. We chose the morning trip. Sam, our boat leader told great stories was funny and handled the raft like a Pro!!! She new the River got us a little wet which was fun. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the trip. We would absolutely do it again. If you go ask for Samantha!

Cancelled hours before trip

We booked a half day adventure about 2 months in advance. The Saturday before our Monday trip, I got a voicemail asking if we could push back one day as we were the only individuals that booked. A few hours later I received a voicemail saying never mind the first voicemail, we were good to go as planned, but please move back one hour. Late on Sunday we were told the trip was officially cancelled, luckily we were able to book a backup trip last minute.

Our guide was Noah, he was amazing and so informative about moab and the Rapids and the rock formations. He made the trip very fun for all my kids. Great all around trip.
