We will meet at the corner with the stairs. This is at the corner of Sunset and Crescent Heights. There is a parking lot at the mall and several in the surrounding area.

The tour ends at the Viper Room. Does NOT end where we began. You can walk back the meeting point in about 20 minutes, take a quick rideshare, or use the bus to quickly return to the meeting point.

Born and raised Angelina and saw some views and heard some stories. I never knew. It was a fun night with a very informative guide. The stories were varied and interesting with the exception of an occasional fly by police helicopter or gunning engine on the street, heard everything and loved it.

I met up with Chris and a small group on a chilly night to walk the Sunset Strip and learn about its sordid history. I knew the gist of many of the stories, which focused on serial killers, mafia lore, celebrity residences, overdose deaths, and some paranormal encounters. But what made the tour great - and Chris a great tour guide - was his "extra" knowledge provided between the stories. He was able to respond in-depth to questions, provide local recommendations, and was also knowledgeable in architecture. This was a well-rounded and entertaining experience, and, like the best tours of this sort, benefited from the guide's distinct sense of humor, in addition to his expertise.

Chris is fantastic! We have done multiple tours around the world and the experience depends almost entirely on the guide. Chris was "best of the best". He is a fantastic storyteller and weaves history, culture and trivia into his tales. Personally, I'm not a true crime fan, but my daughter is and we surprised her for her birthday. She loved it! She is mature so could handle the graphic nature of the tour (Chris might have toned down a few parts), but this is certainly not a kid-friendly tour (but that should be pretty obvious). Highly recommended!
(Oh, I also appreciate that Chris did not pull the manipulative move that many tour guides do now where they ask how the tour was and ask you to write a review while hovering over you. It appears that all the stellar reviews are—like this one—genuine).

Chris was a great tour guide. You can tell he really enjoys his work. He has a vast knowledge of the area. The walking pace was good, for my aging mother, not to many stairs. Chris also stayed a couple extra minutes with us until our Uber arrived since we weren't local.

Chris was AMAZING. What a way to spend a night in West Hollywood and Sunset strip. Chris is unbelievably knowledgeable and speaks in a way that scratches our brain the right way. Highly recommend as a tourist visiting LA for the first time.

Chris has done lots of research and conducted interviews with experts and insiders to present a very compelling and interesting tour. He has a sense of humor too. He covers true crime events mainly on Sunset Blvd but gladly answers questions about infamous crime figures and incidents in other areas of LA too. Great and fun tour!

Planned this months in advance and was told it would probably be canceled at ten that morning, and it was confirmed to be canceled at 5pm, two hours before the tour. The reason was that it wasn’t worth their time if the tour was under two people. It’s just wrong in my opinion to waste my time like that and let me know at the last minute. Very unhappy.

This guest was informed of the two person minimum, the same issue they ran into with another tour company last year and falsely blamed us for until we checked the records. Much of this anger started out with false blame for somethig we didnt do last year. I can certainly understand having 2 tour companies cancel for the same reason in 2 years is a very frustrating experience. But, the 2 person minimum concept is not new to the guest and they were instead offered to reschedule to the next night with more guests. That offer was accepted until this guest decided they wanted a refund not long before the next days tour, which was provided. In addition, I sent this guest a personalized list of true crime themed bars/restaurants, museums, and other attractions that could be fun alternatives. I never enjoy cancelling a single ticket, but I never leave guests with no suggestions or other ways to have fun. I often even contact competitors to see if they have room on their tours. Additionally, I stopped the ticket sales at 5pm in an attempt to sell just one more ticket so we could have the tour. Its not rare, especially on a weekend day, to get last minute ticket sales. My hope was that this tour would happen, and the guest was informed that ticket sales would be left open until then. I'm very sorry that this tour couldnt happen and the guest felt slighted by the process. Hopefully, they will come back and get to take the tour someday. To all solo travelers, you can always reach out to me to ask if there are people booked on a particular night, to help ensure your tour happens! Its a bummer that our first ever non-5 star review comes from this. But, when we had to cancel that guest said this was no way to run a tour business. Unfortunately, there would be no tours at all if they werent run in a way that makes sense for the company to operate.

Chris gave my husband and I a great tour of the crime and haunted history of the Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles. Very interesting and detailed stories. Gave me goosebumps. Some stories I knew but he had more details to add and some I definitely didn’t know about that we were absolutely amazed by. Would highly recommend this tour while visiting LA.

Amazing tour! Chris did not skip a beat throughout the tour. The stops along the way corresponded along with the area perfectly as each story related to the area along with the inter weaving through the presentation.
This is a must do and see tour. Easy walk, spectacular views, wonderful pieces of history to hear and see and packed the entire time with information! 💥

My daughter & I loved this tour- Chris shared so many interesting stories- as we walked along a great stretch of Sunset Blvd. The walk was easy, there were plenty of stopping points and the tour included real photos & audio which added extra drama! Chris is the best- he educates in a twisted, funny way. Loved it!

Chris was a great storyteller; he told a tale that was complex and detailed but in a way that was streamlined both geographically and historically, from the origins of the Sunset Strip to the death of River Phoenix 100 years later. He made us laugh but he treated the subject matter with the seriousness it deserved.

Great tour to explore Sunset. We wanted to walk around but were nervous to do on our own . So was nice to walk with group and to learn so many stories of the past. It was great to see in person everything you read about online.

Honestly better than I could have imagined - mainly thanks to a GREAT tour guide.
Chris was on time, on fleek and full of all the cool and less touristy crime stories.
Bonus points for spotting a celeb en route. But really cannot recommend this tour highly enough, book in, you won't regret it. I will look out for the downtown version of this next time I am back in LA.
