- What to wear:
- - Dress to get wet! We recommend a swimsuit or quick-drying shorts/t-shirt.
- - One of the most important aspects of 'what to wear' rafting is footwear. All of our guests are required to wear shoes that strap or tie securely to their feet. Water shoes, a sturdy sandal with a heel strap, or tennis shoes work well for rafting. Flip-flops, crocs, or bare feet are NOT allowed.
- Whitewater rafting is an active, outdoor, adventure sport.
- All participants must be in good health and weigh no more than 250 lbs.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 50 travelers

My family and I had an amazing time white water rafting on the truckee river with Tahoe White Water. Our tour guide Emily was the best, she was knowledgeable, comical and did an amazing job at preparing us for the trip and guiding us while on the water. If you can choose a guide, choose Emily! We 100% recommend this tour. It’s a must!

An absolutely amazing experience! I was a bit nervous and not sure what to expect for my first rafting trip, but Joey was the best guide. His conversation and humor both put us at ease and made the trip all the more fun. He prepared us well for each step of the ride. It was equally relaxing with beautiful views and exciting, and we felt safe the entire time. I’d definitely book another trip with this company, and request Joey as our guide again.

This was our 1st time river rafting. We Loved it! They did a great job making us feel safe. Our guide Jon was the Best! It was a lot of fun. The 9 year old jumped in for a little swim- it was cold. We worked up to the level 3 rapids towards the end Jon guided through perfectly. Great experience all around.

The water is cold and you won’t be taking anything on the boat with you. No cameras or water bottles. The guides are super knowledgeable and really do a great job coaching you on what to do.

There is a lot of chill rafting with all the bigger sections right towards the end. Paddle when told and you might make it down still in the boat.

We signed up for this tour without ever having rafted before. We were a little nervous but had an absolute blast. There are several areas of exciting white water and plenty of calmer spots where you can hop in for a quick swim or float. The guides did an amazing job of ensuring everyone was familiar with rowing maneuvers and safety. We never once felt unsafe or uncertain. The guides were all so great and all looked out for each other’s rafts and folks. Drew was our personal raft guide, and he was absolutely incredible. It was evident that they all not only enjoy their jobs but also really enjoy working with each other. They seem to have a lot of fun, and experiencing those dynamics is special. There are restrooms at the parking lot if you need them. Once your items are locked in your vehicle, you can leave your key with the company for safekeeping. Some items can be taken on the raft if they’re able to be secured appropriately. We had so much fun, and this was one of the highlights of our trip to Tahoe. We actually debated returning for a second rafting experience but ran out of time. We will be sure to return next time we vacation at the lake. Can’t recommend this company enough!!
Just a tip - Keep on the lookout for the convenient roadside sign for the company. Our GPS was being wild and initially took us to a campground on the other side of the reservoir, about 5 miles away from where we were supposed to be. When we put the same address back in again, it took us to a random location that was a large pile of rocks by the road a mile or so past where we were supposed to be. Thankfully, there is a little sign with the company name by the road in the parking lot that helped us find it since technology was whack that day.

So fun. The entire team was friendly, engaging, and encouraging which added to the overall experience. Our guide, Lexi, not only made sure we were prepared for the rapids but also talked with us about the area giving us some history and neat facts about the river. Overall a great experience, the company took care of everything; would recommend for anyone wanting to disconnect from the world for a couple hours, enjoy nature, have an adventure….and ready to get wet!

This was such a great experience. The waters got progressively more aggressive through the ride. Our family was new to rafting. We had time to practice and get the hang of things before we got to the more difficult runs.
Our guides were awesome! They clearly all work well together.

Jon was a great guide! Lovely trip. Get there at 9, it was a waste of time bring early. Intro and safety talk started after 9:20. Can’t bring anything but a water bottle that has a loop with you. Don’t bring even dry bags.

Diesel was our guide and he was great; told us about the history of the area and really knew how to raft. He gave us instructions on what we needed to do and it was a fabulous experience. Highly recommend this rafting company. Sorry no pics cause couldn’t take phones or anything that could get wet and you do get wet! We wore water shoes and other folks were strap on sandals or sneakers, but you really do need to keep your toes covered because you have to stick your foot into the raft and you’ll get bruised if you wear flip-flops or some sort of sandal and flip-flops are not recommended for that reason; would suggest you wear a swimsuit in case you want to jump in ( they stopped several times on the trip in common water so people could jump in and swim to cool off ) or at least wear clothes that dry very easily and wear sunscreen if desired because the sun does beat down pretty well on a sunny day. They do have a photographer that takes pics if you want to purchase the pics on a thumb drive. You do need to leave all your belongings in the car or in the case of us we used an Uber and left our stuff in the office.. so just be prepared that you can’t take anything with you on the raft.

Had a wonderful time! It was my wife’s first time and she’s typically pretty nervous on water like that, but the guides did a great job making everyone feel safe and comfortable! The rapids were surprisingly fun (I was told by someone in S Tahoe it would be a bore due to the dry season) and there was a great mix of varying Class 1-3 rapids and opportunities to hop in the water.
We had a blast and she is ready for more! Great for introductory rafting or someone who just enjoys rapids! The photographer is great as well - separate cost which is industry norm. We bought the package and the photos are some of the best we’ve had! Highly recommend for any group!!

We were all excited to go left south Tahoe 2 hours early and once we got on the road there was an accident. Realized we weren’t going to be there on time. I called numerous times. Finally got a hold of someone to see if they will wait for us. He told me no and they refunded my money. I later got a call asking where we were and she would’ve waited. I’m so mad that we didn’t keep on driving. About 2 hours later got an email stating we were denied on a refund. So I called to see what was going on. I was told that it’s under investigation. It’s been 3 weeks and haven’t heard anything back. Every time I call the supervisor is busy and would not talk to me. Can I please get a call back so I can be refunded? So I don’t have to keep calling

Rafting trip was super fun! Don’t follow the meeting point linked, it’ll take you off the other side of the river! I would absolutely do it again, this comoany didn’t dump the boat but their competitor did!

Fun experience! Definitely the highlight of our trip.
We had Cory as our guide and he did a great job at keeping us all in the raft, despite getting grabbed by "Jaws". We splurged for the digital pics and so glad we did - a small price to pay to see the look of terror mixed with exhilaration on all of our faces!
Google maps took us to the wrong location and they were nice enough to wait a few minutes.
Would definitely recommend.
