We had an AMAZING 🤩 time with tour guide Vanessa. We highly recommend this food tour!!!! Not only was the food really good, but we also loved learning fun facts about downtown Houston. We even experienced a portion of the the underground city through the tunnel system. Definitely broadened our horizons and where we would want to come back to visit on our next trip to downtown Houston. We also loved how Vanessa was so attentive to all of our needs to make sure we had the best experience possible. She kept the tour moving seamlessly. Our favorite stop on the tour was La Calle where we enjoyed authentic beef birria tacos, deconstructed elote, and mango margaritas. Also, met some really cool and fun folks who made the night even more enjoyable!!! What a great night out!!!! 🥳. Would definitely do it again!!!! 😃

It was a great tour, the only complaint is we couldn’t actually go down into the main tunnels as it was the weekend. So fyi don’t try to come after 6pm mon-fri or on weekends. But great guide, Victor was friendly, knowledgeable and was a great fit for our group! We started out at Market Square then continued to the first foodie stop a great little Phillipino restaurant. Excellent flavor! Then we proceeded to entrance of tunnels and given the history and layout. Next into a Cuban restaurant where more delicious food awaited. We then did a tour of the tallest building in Texas (well clipped recently by an Austin building by 23ft!) then made our way to Market Square again with the history of downtown and a 9/11 tie-in. Onwards next to a great Mexican food restaurant which was my favorite! Then we proceeded flavors were amazing snd the spicy margarita was excellent! Our last stop was some Italian desserts, the tiramisu was to die for, so creamy and light! I’d recommend but this was the last of this specific tour which was sad to hear. Definitely recommend a tunnel and foodie tour downtown Houston though, we learned so much! Great night, friendly group and great service! 👍👍👍🫶

This was wonderful food and walking tour of Houston. Vanessa did a great job leading the tour. The walk in the underground tunnels and throughout the City was super informative and interesting. There was plenty of delicious food so come hungry. We ended up taking to-go boxes from two of the restaurants. We had a great time and highly recommend this tour.

This was an interesting food tour of the downtown Houston area. There are a series of tunnels in this area that connect buildings, light rail, and the theatre district that we got to learn about and visit restaurants in the tunnels.

Vanessa was a great guide, very knowledgeable and personable, and she even came prepared with rain coats since it was sprinkling throughout the tour. All three places she took us to eat had excellent food, and the variety of food was great as well. I wish we had spent more time in the tunnels, but overall it was a great tour.

I am a native Houston who grew up going downtown for everything before the suburbs blew up and I still leaned a ton on this tour. Our tour guide Vanessa was a wealth of knowledge and shared that knowledge so enthusiastically. I left with a reviewed since of pride in my hometown and some great places to eat when in the city. Our last stop had an entrance to the underground tunnel system with a flood door. Interesting and a little eerie. Did you know Houston has the largest underground tunnel system in the US? My boys did not, so we'll be booking the underground tunnel system tour Astroville offers next. Whether you're new to H-town, or an original native like me, book this tour. My family loved it. Great way to spend quality time together.

I had a party of 4 within the group and Vanessa made sure we experienced the tour all together. The weather was chilly even by Houston standards. My husband and I really enjoyed the tour! We learned so much about the Houston downtown area even though we have lived in Houston all our lives. Also, there was a good variety of different types of food and we discovered some new restaurants that we will visit again. The best part was the tour guide, Vanessa, she made the tour amazing. She was full of knowledge on all the downtown buildings, I was very impressed. We are planning to do another downtown tour because of the positive impression she left on us. You will not be disappointed if you book a tour with Vanessa!
