John picked us up at our hotel in a beautiful and comfortable mini van. We had a full day visiting all the important sights of Oahu. He was very knowledgeable in the landscape of the island and how it was formed. He also knew everything about the plants and vegetation of the island. We stopped for lunch at a delicious place for Poke bowls. He is a photography buff and took wonderful photos of my husband and I and sent them to us free of charge. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

John was really personable. He listened to what we wanted to do as well as gave us some other recommendations upon which we would not have e considered. He has great insight on the history of the islands and was a pleasure to spend the day with. We had a great tour of Oahu with John. John was punctual and after discussing what we wanted to see we set off for the day. We went to Waimea Valley, ate at Romy’s in Kahuku, saw Kualoa & Mokoliʻi, and ended the day at Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout. John shared his extensive knowledge of the region and its history throughout. Waimea Valley and the botanical gardens were the highlight for my parents as they enjoyed identifying familiar plants and learning about new ones. He also took great photos of us with his camera and I learned a lot from him about photography. All in all, I recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed John and his tour. He picked us up in a very clean well kept van. He asked what things were of interest to us and what parts of the island we wanted to see. We got to see a ton of highlights and he was incredibly knowledgeable! He knew a lot about history, plants, and mythology! He also offered to pictures of us at every beautiful overlook/stop. He has a really nice camera so the pictures turned out better than they would have with just our iPhone cameras. We had the BEST poke for lunch and malassadas for dessert! YUM!!! Really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend John! 10000000000000/10.

John was more than willing to listen to our interests, as well as insure we took in sights that we might otherwise not have mentioned. His knowledge of plants and animals, especially birds, added to the enjoyment of the natural beauty of O’ahu. His lunch choice was authentic and delicious.

We had the best time with John during our Circle Island Tour. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the island as well as the plants and wildlife we came across. We were able to customize the tour to see all the top sights on our list. He also took us to a food truck for lunch that we would have never found on our own and it was amazing. All of his recommendations were great! My kids had so much fun and are still talking about it weeks later. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

John our driver/guide for the day is a great safe driver who is very knowledgeable about all things on Hawai’i, including all plants, animals, surf conditions, customs etc. We had a great day circling this beautiful island in a very clean well kept Honda Van Thank you John for a great day

Our family of three enjoyed a leisurely, pleasant 6-hour tour of East Oahu plus the Byodo In Temple. Driver and tour guide John was very friendly, offered a lot of historical information, and pointed out interesting botany along the way. The minivan was comfortable and impeccably clean. Very familiar with traffic patterns so we did not hit any congestion on the road.

We had an excellent experience with our private tour around the island of O'ahu with John. He was incredibly knowledgeable about local culture and history, botany, and bird life, which really brought each stop to life. Beyond the information, the conversation flowed naturally throughout the entire day and made the tour feel personal and relaxed. He also recommended a fantastic lunch spot that we never would have found on our own. John knew all the picture-perfect angles to capture photos, and after the tour he even shared the terrific shots he took in high definition. John was also super flexible with us when we needed to take some breaks for our baby, which was really great. John was a great tour guide and so respectful. My mom was traveling with us and sprained her ankle a week before the trip but John made sure everywhere we went would accommodate her and he was also very helpful every step of the way. We were still able to do most everything we wanted and he even picked up on our ques and suggested a few extra things that made the trip extra special. John also was very informative about the island and we learned so much more than expected. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a special experience.

A day with John will be the best money you spend on the island. Not only did we have our own private tour guide, John is exceptionally knowledgeable about the island, plants, history, and so many other topics we covered during our day together. John also helped by taking photographs of my daughter and I, so we had more than just selfies. John captured some great photos of us enjoying the water at Waimea Falls (which was my favorite). John also stopped at a local farm stand, where I bought delicious fresh fruit and tried a local favorite, pickled mango. If you like sweet & sour combinations, this is the treat for you! I can't wait to try to make it at home! Just a wonderful day start to finish!
