Weather was very warm and the guide geared the tour with that in mind. Just enough info to take in.

We learned so much from our guide, Emmyrose. She was born and raised here, and has a vast knowledge of the history of Galveston, going back 500 years. She incorporated historical accounts along with sharing the significance of the beautiful architecture of many of the buildings along The Strand. We highly recommend taking this walking tour with Emmyrose.

A wonderful morning for this informational walking tour. Our tour guide, Lady Saelym, was informative and entertaining. The history of this area is very interesting and informative as we heard about the devastation they have had to overcome to get where they are today. We recommend this walking tour and tour guide.

As a single person, I was unable to sign-up/pay for a single person, so I paid for myself and a child (that was never coming). I thought it was a bit discriminating to single people. Aside from that, my tour guide was great. She was friendly and very knowledgable in the history of the area.

It was a very interesting tour. I’m fairly familiar with Galveston’s history, but I stilled learned new information. Noelle did a great a great job and it is obvious she has spent quite a bit of time researching Galveston’s history. In other words it was not a canned speech. She was able to seamlessly converse on related topics that arose from questions.
The walking was at a leisurely pace with multiple stopping points to discuss the significance of each area and take photos.
The length of the tour was just right giving us time to further explore the area on our own afterwards.

Started a little late due to a miscommunication, but that was okay. Noelle is a fantastic guide. She knows her Galveston history! Great time to walk around & learn about 1900 hurricane. Excellent history in Galveston!

Go early to find a spot to park or go in the railroad museum parking and buy a pass for. We did and enjoyed the museum after our tour
