It’s a scam… the museum was free all along, and there was no line…. Best was that NO ONE showed up to designated area.

The chaos is finding your ticket group and getting checked in. Basically your ticket is suppose to give you easy access to the Gallery and a bit of background knowledge. Probably good if it is a very crowded day. For a quiet off-season day it is not worth the structured hassle of trying to find your assigned group.

No wait for David

There were hundreds of people there to see The David! We had skip the line and actually arrived 45 min early. The tour guide was able to get us in immediately so it was wonderful. The David was a sight to behold as well as the museum attached.

Nice that we were able to skip the line. Didn’t realize this was an unguided tour, so you will have no audio or guide to explain the art. Great tour - completed in less than 1 hr.

Venue is very busy so beware of big crowds especially around the statue of David. Take advantage of the other areas of the museum

It was very convenient to purchase the ticket into the museum on Viator as the tickets on the museum website were sold out & the line to wait for a ticket at the museum would have been hours long. The 2 contact persons were very friendly when we arrived to check in. The check-in point was in front of building down the street from museum. There was an issue with the tickets however when we arrived. We had a 1pm reservation and the museum was sold out of tickets for that time so they needed to give us 1:45pm tickets instead. We were able to adjust our plans and make this work but something to keep in mind when booking that the time you reserve may not be the actual time you get in.

The highlight is David. Though there are many other statues and paintings David is the main attraction. This was a good one time experience, since how often can you say you’ve seen this masterpiece. Just know there is a replica that you can see for free elsewhere in Firenze. So if you want to see the original then this is for you, if you just want to see a statue that is identical then save your money.

I liked seeing David. I feel that the seller is scalping tickets and are jacking the prices up. The seller is in a private residence and are various prices. Buy directly from the museum.

Even with Skip the Line tickets we waited 40 minutes to enter. It was pouring rain. The guide let uds to The David statue and left. Very disappointing. The museum was beautiful.

We got lost and missed the tour. Left in plenty of time to get to the Accademia, but somehow made a wrong turn. We were very disappointed but that is on us not you.

Excellent Skip the Line Process

Well worth the cost. When we arrived at the Accademia the entry line was unbelievably long, hundreds of people waiting to enter. We met the representative and he walked us to a separate entrance from the crowds, no waiting.

No bother with Skipping the Line… no such a thing!!!

There’s no such a thing as Skip the Line!! The long 3.5hr line up in the rain was not fun plus finally getting to the door only to be asked for a paper ticket we didn’t have (purchased them online). Nowhere on our Viator emailed link said anything about picking up paper tickets from a random dude on a random address… luckily the person at the door was kind enough to give us said address and let us get through after we got the tickets. Between the absolute lack of proper signs outside the museum and the lack of proper info from Viator the whole thing was the most chaotic experience ever… we stopped “skipping the line” since and rather bought tickets direct from museums instead.

Well organized but note: Meeting point was outside the entrance to Acadamia. Look for the orange flag. Do not follow the google maps directions as they send you to the square on the other side of the building.

Definitely worth the extra money!! Walked up, exchanged our voucher for tickets and were escorted to the front of the line of at least 500 people! In the museum in less than 3 minutes. Phenomenal experience!

This was not worth the cost. It was way more than the standard price, you still have to wait in line, and they didn’t have tickets for the time we booked. We had to wait for the next session. Would not recommend to anyone.
