We went to meet up with a guide but there was no guide for us. Had to call customer service (Twice in one day). Told them we needed the exact place to meet up with our guide and again they could not help. Told them I’m also not able to down load anything from VIATOR app to get tickets. Finally after 45 min on the phone they had another guide in the area received our tickets and they then sent to us. In the end there was no guide only for us to go in provide proof of ticket and pay more money for audio use, and one that you hold up to your ear. Horrible experience and very stressful. Not to mention we had a tour at Duomo cathedral earlier in am and the guide never showed and after we called c/ service they could not put us on another duomo tour that day but we could do a walking tour of Florence. We took that tour and were told where to meet guide, and we did, and that we needed to look for a person in a green shirt with “my tour” on it. The guide showed up, late, wearing a red shirt and a small 2” square whiter paper attached to his cross bag strap with “my tours” written in his hand writing. Really! We could not get anything right with VIATOR.
Ticketing was easy and entrance to the museum was easy.nite that it may take 10-15 minutes to get through the security check, store your backpack, and get upstairs. Though there are timed entries, there is still a crowd of people in the museum and sometimes they are making a lot of noise. Entry to some rooms can still have a long line. There are many great works of art to see, but you may feel squeezed and rushed. Tour groups may hog the best viewing spots for a time. People and their phones may prevent you from getting unobstructed views and pictures.
Great experience. Glad we had a reserved time and tickets sent to us via What's App. They did check our passports - glad we brought them.
Picking up the tickets was easy, right across from the museum. The guide walked us right to the front of the very long line, waited while we’re were “scanned” and walked us in - we did not buy the guided tour so we’re were on our own after that. So simple, would buy this again and highly recommend for anyone visiting the museum.
never go to museum in august - too crowded and hot and expensive - horrible experience

Thank you for your feedback unfortunatley this is out of our hand controlling crowds this the second biggest museum in europe and gets really busy as other tourists vists too as you did and we provide only tickets.
This was simply a timed entrance ticket sale to the museum. I'm glad we purchased tickets ahead of time as the lines can be long to get tickets.
Don’t use Viator. They cancelled our tickets less than 24 hours before our check in time for Gallery Academia. No explanation. No response to my inquiries. We had to hurry to get skip the line tickets and they were much more expensive the day before. We had purchased our Uffizi and GA tickets way in advance with Viator. Also 2 of our party had their flight rerouted and they refused to change the date of our Uffizi tickets even though there was availability. Don’t use Viator. “Headout” worked great for us to see Gallery Academia with skip the line tickets. Folks without tickets were waiting almost 2 hours. Took us about 15 minutes to go through security line with our Headout tickets. I had used Viator in the past for tours in Prague and Iceland as well, but after having tickets cancelled without explanation less than 24 hours before, I will not be using them again. Inexcusable.
We didn’t have a guide for this tour so maybe I would have felt differently if we had someone to give us information along the way. It’s a very large museum with ALOT of art.

You have booked only a timed entrance ticket not a guided tour, if you book only a ticket you can expect a guided tour for free, if you wanted W guided tour you should have booked a guide.

The gallery is an amazing place. Well worth the visit if you are in Florence. The buildings alone are incredible but the artwork is overwhelming
It is important that WiFi is working to access the gallery and that the QR code for your ticket is accessible

The wifi is not important once you have the tickets on your phone you just have to download it we also send tickets through what's or email if neither of these options we are always available at the meeting for assistance we were at the meeting since 8:00 am to 4:15 pm but you have never showed up
No host to meet you and show you where to go as described. Spent 30 min looking for this host but eventually spoke with Uffizi employee who told us where to go. This is not a timed entry you go through same line as everyone else. Next time I will save 40€ and loads of confusion and frustration and just buy online at gallery site and enter in my own with a working audio guide. I let the provider know that the experience was not as described in booking info ( no host, no timed entry, no working audio guide) and was completely stonewalled so beware not the most helpful tour company. A simple I’m sorry about your experience and a commitment to properly describe what future consumers will actually be receiving would have been good enough but that was not how it was handled. Uffizi was amazing even with the difficulty with booking.

We are very sorry about your experience but as per our conversation on what's app we have already explained you the situation if you had any issues you should have come to meeting and ask the staff for help you had all the informationon the voucher you need we have a meeting where we are from 8:00am to 4:30pm every single day but have you never showed up and tried to do things by yourself which made it ended in this situation.

Skip the line is the way to go for this. I don’t recommend Saturday if possible bc it’s so full inside but overall a good experience
Pointless. Buy A ticket directly from the museum and get the audio there. It will work out cheaper. No benefit from third party . We wasted time and money.

Thank you for your feedback but as per our conversation we have already explained you can't expect a guided tour in price of just ticket you have bought a timed entrance with audio guide everything is explained on the voucher if you don't know what's the difference between buying a ticket thorough viator and museum then you cannot blame us for this.
When you buy a ticket from the museum it's only just a ticket once bought you cannot change no refunds nothing but through viator you can cancel 24 hours before full refund and change it anytime.
It was next to impossible to find the location to meet the person with the tickets. You must make it simpler to meet with people to get the tickets not just some random sculpture in the middle of the Piazza. I’m not getting tickets through via tour again. It was ridiculous.

This is an amazing gallery.
Need at least 3 hours to take it all in.
Of course seeing “The birth of Venus” Painting by Sandro Botticelli was my highlight.
When they use the term “Skip the line” it really means very little. We met the representative at the scheduled time with a few other people and were then escorted to a line with at least 500 people ahead or us (not exaggerating, probably more). Then the rep just left. It was more of a mob with no identifiable lines. We were told the openings had been sold out for two weeks but tickets continued to be sold. The museum is definitely worth visiting. The skip the line purchase for our experience did nothing.

Please you should know how the museum works the tickets were sold out in advanced you were luck to have those tickets and for your kind information we never said skip the line tickets it's a timed entrance tickets and you had to through the security for other people's security and please read the information better what are you buying better then complaining later for not knowing what you bought.

We were a little late to the rendezvous because of travel mishap. However, the guide quickly ushered us into the proper line before a wave of people. So grateful they were speedy and helpful and patient.
The museum was vast. We wanted to see Leonardo DiVinci and Michelangelo so we targeted those areas but saw a lot in between. Well worth seeing.
It was just the ticket , you need to pay to get the audio inside. For $45 it was expensive , they give you just a paper and that's all
Very nice art displayed in gallery, but extremely crowded without enough bathrooms and too many stairs to climb.
Having priority access was well worth it. The guide met us on time and assisted us to the correct line up and entrance.
It was overall a great experience. When you book with Viator, they will send you a very detailed description of where to meet and what to expect. Everything was done exactly as described. Thank you.

One hour line with Fast Track. Gallery was way too crowded. Could just as easily Googled Artists pictures in comfort of own home. Plus 4 story climb to see anything was exhausting
A seamless way to enter the Uffizi without the long line. Directions were specific for the meet up to get the ticket.
Only take a guided tour if you don’t wish to see any art, the guide almost demands your eye contact. I went solo but because of entry problems they put me in with a tour, as soon as I got in the building I left the tour. Solo is better.
