A great experience, our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area prior to climbing the dome.
The dome itself is a must thing to do when you go to Florence. It is best to book this with company to guarantee entry to the top of the dome.

That the ticket you get from Viator isn't actuality a ticket. When you arrive, there is no ticket booth, you need to look for somebody from Florence Pass standing in front of the store you are directed to. Also, the folks from Florence Pass are not there all day but arrive about 15 minutes prior the time on the ticket.
However, the folks from Florence Pass were terrific

Great historical insight and an in-depth tour. Headsets allowed me to easily hear the guide amongst the crowd in the square. The Dome climb was a must-do! And the tour included tickets for multiple other attractions in the area to do in subsequent days.

A good tour but a bit long before getting to the dome climb. Getting a little worn out in the hot sun before making the climb seemed to discourage some the older or heavier participants

Highlight of this trip is definitely the climb up the dome looking at the fresco up close. We spent sometime outside the duomo with narrative on how the church was built. The tour also included access to the tower and entry to the Duomo Museum. After the 462-step climb um the dome we passed on the same for the tower instead we spent sometime outside time in the museum on our own. This turned out to be a nice compliment to round out the tour. There are so much that has been removed from the Duomo and kept in the museum that I rather enjoyed seeing the originals on display than touring the Duomo where these pieces actually once stood. I wish the tour guides are explicit about this fact as it lessened the Duomo experience itself for me.

This tour was exceptional! Extremely informative and well paced. Having the tour first and then being able to access so many pivotal landmarks was perfect. We loved being able to access everything at our own pace after gaining so much insight from our tour. Our guide was funny and easy to understand amidst all the tourist activities. Top rate tour!!!! This tour was a great way to see and learn more about the Duomo, bell tower, cathedral/crypt, museum, and the baptistery. The tour includes a short walking tour outside of the Duomo, and then a skip the line pass to the Duomo which is convenient and great if you want to climb the steps to the top. The pass also includes the other 4 spots mentioned above, so you get a good amount’s worth for your money plus the walking tour for a quick overview beforehand. Book this one!

Our tour guide Claudio was so knowledgeable about history of the cathedral , pleasant too. With extra 2 days pass ticket to get inside baptistery and cathedral plus to climb the tower if you wish . Worth getting the tour.

The climb and view were wonderful and the multiple sights included in the ticket are a good deal. The museum exceeded expectations - really interesting, and I recommend visiting it AFTER the tour of the baptistry and dome. The guided tour was good but not great. Historical information wasn't well placed in context and it didn't need to be so long. Check in at the meeting point wasn't very well organized or visible.

we met the tour guide and for some reason were surprised that it was only a 45 minute tour around the outside of the 2 buildings. Tour Guide, Sylvie, was great and very knowledgeable, but we left her while waiting in line to climb up the duomo. we opted out of that as the line was longer than you would expect for a skip the line, but we went to the duomo museum which was wonderful. the other thing that we could do with this package was climb the tower, but the line was long there too

The cathedral was very pretty and the crypt was interesting. There was a guard that helped us get to the terrace before closing, that was very helpful and nice

I highly recommend this tour of the exterior of the Baptistery of St. John and the Cathedral ending with admission to climb to the Dome. Climbing up to the top of the Dome, we had spectacular views of the Cathedral and up-close views of the frescos. At the top of the Dome, we were greeted with a wonderful overlook of the Florence skyline. We learned so much from our guide, Claudio. Do not miss this one!

Claudio was a knowledgeable and expert tour guide. He really knows his material and was very helpful during the tour. This package includes the brunelleschi pass and is worth it, especially if you cannot obtain tickets through the official website for upcoming dates.

Good tour. You meet in the plaza ahead of time and the guide gives you a short tour before getting you to the entrance where you go and climb to the top of the Duomo. You “skip the line” but you have about an hour beforehand where you walk around.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. The process was very simple and easy. And he helped not only with facts about the Duomo, but how to navigate around the area. Would recommend.

Not at all what we expected but perhaps this was our fault. First the meeting point. I am pretty adept at Google maps and the location was not where the meeting point was. Must have been my fault though as everyone else in the tour was in the correct location. Photos of where you meet would be helpful. I was Impressed the tour guide responded so quickly to my SOS when we were going past our start time. Next I am not sure why I misunderstood that this was not so much a tour of the church itself but a tour of the buildings exterior. Yes you are presented with a pass to see the rest of this magnificent place but it just was not a possibility for us as it conflicted with other plans. What a waste of 2 tickets.
On the plus side our guide and listening devices were fantastic...much better than the viator we had in Rome.

My guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and perfect English- with an Irish accent I think (never asked where he got it). Easy meet up point. Tower climb was easy and fun- can’t beat the views.

To be clear, the local tour guide was terrific and we enjoyed the activity. However we wasted about an hour and a half on trying to follow Viator instructions for exchanging our vouchers for tickets.
Please rewrite this section and include specifics information about timing etc

You were trying desperately to exchange your voucher with tickets when it is well written in the description that your guide will provide your with your tickets at the end of the guided tour.
Please read better all instructions carefully before complaining, thank you.
