Skip the line tickets for Uffizi and L’Academia

Getting the skip the line tickets was organised and not too bad. There is still a line to wait for your time slot to open Re the Uffizi it is not a place to visit anymore sadly The hoards of people pushing and bumping are difficult Then to see the main art pieces one had to stand in long lines inside the Museum for over 45 mins per exhibit I would never go again L’Academia is also crowded but more manageable The Internet connection inside the museum is minimal so it is almost impossible to get the online guide and then in order to obtain and audio guide which I was perfectly ok to pay for ….. unless one leaves one’s drivers licence or passport with the audio desk as collateral … they will not give an audio guide This is not an acceptable arrangement Nowhere else in the world have I experienced this So all in all ….. a lot of negatives which is a sad situation

Seeing these collections first hand is a great pleasure, having the combo ticket gave the opportunity to indulge in one day, although you could easily go back as these collections are extensive. Highly recommend for those with a limited time in Florence.

Disappointed for the first time

This was one of the worst experiences with Viator. The cost was excessive for the little Viator did on this tour. I could have purchased tickets direct from the art galleries for about half the price. Typically Viator provides a guide. Without a guide we just wondered through the gallery not understanding the significance of what we were viewing. For the first time I am very disappointed. I would not recommend this tour.

Really well co-ordinated with enough time to do both attractions. I would recommend pre-booking so as not to stand in the huge Q’s with people who have not booked.

We missed our tour completely and it was very expensive. There were no recommendations for parking and we had a car, as we traveled from Lucca. A representative called me 5 minutes away from our start time and yelled at me for still being in the car. I will pursue a partial refund at the least. Very disappointing as it was to be a highlight of our travels from Colorado to Italy

The representatives in Florence were barely functional, busy, and finally came-through, but they did not initially explain the process and procedure. We were just told to sit and wait more than once. We were not warned about the actual process of getting into the Ufizzi on an extremely busy day; only given minimal direction and instruction and sent on our way. More information is necessary for each of your ticket holders on a tight schedule!

We did not skip the line. We waited over an hour to get into uffizi museum. The activity cost almost 300$ and did not allow us to skip , this made for an exhausting day. I was disappointed. Hope for some refund for waste of time

Always skip the line if you’re able to do so. We went on our own self-guided tour around both museums and picked and chose what we wanted to see.

Disappointed with Skip the line tour of Uffizzi and Academia

We were very disappointed with the Viator tour of the uffizzii and Academia in Florence Italy. When we scheduled this I spoke to the agent on the phone and was told I could go to either the uffizzi Museum or Academia first. We waited in line for the Academia as we wanted to go there first. When the appointed time was there we were unable to go in We were unaware we would have to get a ticket from City Tours. We found City Tours and had to wait for the representative who told us we would have to go to the city Tours Office and get a ticket for the Uffizzi Museum. We went to the office 1/2 hour away and were given the ticket for the uffizzi. We then were told we had go back to the Acadrmia within 1 1/2 hour. We requested later entrance for the Academia, but were told that was impossible. We knew this would not be possible as we had to wait 1/2 hour for the security at the Uffizzi Museum. As a result we were only able to go to the Uffizzi Museum. We were disappointed in Viator Skip the Line Academia and Uffizzi. And could not recommend this tour as the explanation and coordination was not at website or or in Florence at the office.

Definitely not “skip the line”!! We waited in line for an hour.

You must plan in advance to find locations to pick up tickets. We could not find the pick up place. We never found the Accademia pickup and missed seeing it entirely. Very frustrating!

There isn’t enough time on the tour to do the museums justice. The walk between is about one half hour. Tickets are not picked up at the museum, rather at a small shop near each museum.

We had to pick up paper tickets, not digital. The locations and very strict times for pick up were VERY INCONVENIENT!!! The skip the line ticket line was just as long as regular lines. Never again.

Skip the line is a massive overstatement. You are given vague instructions out of sight of the Uffizi entrance and sent into an unwieldy, long security line that you cannot skip and there is no evidence at any point that you are skipping any entrance line ahead of anyone at all. There is not truth in advertising here

Be careful of joint tickets …they don’t provide details in complete form and choose their own timing that suits them and not what we want. We booked this for 1100 am combined ticket and upon reaching the office, they said , oh by the way your next one is at 230 pm and you need to collect the ticket from another office. No flexibility at all. The staff was too rude to even talk. Before that morning we tried contacting them over chat and no response. One suggestion, never book combined tickets and try to book directly online or thru a reputed travel directly. With Viator it’s not advisable as you don’t know what you get after money is gone . We paid for $300 and got worth only $100.

Do not, I repeat, do not waste your money on this. Do yourself a favor and just buy separate tickets and save yourself probably €100. There is zero assistance with this and you can’t even call it a tour. In Uffizi, there is no “skip the line” anything. The directions to the office are horrible and don’t give you directions, just a vague description of where it’s at. There is no audio to listen to, nothing.

The tourist office where we had to convert our voucher to a paper ticket was very difficult to locate. They advertise that it’s mere steps from the museum, but this is misleading, and no one from the museum seemed to know what the office was.
