I had an excellent guided tour of the David at the Accademia Museum. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The tour operator was professional, well-organized, and perfectly on time.
I would especially like to commend our tour guide, Miss Galya. She gave clear and engaging explanations throughout the tour. Her knowledge of the museum and its artworks was impressive, and she spoke excellent English with confidence and clarity. She provided detailed descriptions and fascinating historical background, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence.

ticket redemption and entry and exit were easy. the place is beautiful and the David is much grander than you'd expect. the first room has some incredibly vibrant art pieces in comparison to the rest of the museum. pretty spectacular. we went during a major heat wave so it was nice they had AC blasting. only downside is there is no audio guide or information provided so you'll be googling a lot if you are seeking information.

The main attraction is the statue of David. The remaining statues and artwork were not as interesting so I do not think it is value for money

If you’re short on time, patience, or energy, this is a great option to see the museum including The David. My husband and I are not the “read every sign” kind of travelers; however, we did find this gallery fascinating and enjoyed it very much.
We only did the skip-the-line ticket, not a tour. This worked well for us here because of the size of the museum, our available time in Florence, and interest level. We stayed longer than anticipated here because we enjoyed it!! If long lines in the heat are not your idea of vacation-we recommend you skip the line with this ticket.

The academia is an amazing museum but too crowded and it would have been nice to have a guide.
Meeting points for this app are never next to the ticket shop and that is confusing and inconvenient.

We decided to visit Florence only a week before so couldn’t purchase tickets directly from the museum. These tickets were great. Representative met us at designated spot right on schedule (was there early!) and even got us in the museum at an earlier time than originally planned.

"Skip the line" is a bit misleading. Crowds in Florence are enormous in the summer, so we still spent 20 minutes waiting in line, despite having booked ahead. Still, the David is as magnificent as ever, and very much worth the wait.

We had a minor emergency with her sonand missed our morning ticket time. They worked with us and they were able to get us in at a later time in the afternoon so we would not miss seeing David.. I’m very grateful for that flexibility!
The meeting point was a little difficult to find. We didn’t realize how close it was to academia. Our GPS was not exact..

Definitely worth it if you did not book tickets ahead of time. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us time to take photos. They are flexible (ish) about timings if you are running a little late/early. They give you headphones so you can hear the guide. The David is spectacular.

The museum was great, but the price we paid was almost triple what we would have paid if we had bought tickets in person. In person tickets were only 25-30 euros. We definitely overpaid. We opted for the skip-the-line option, but that didn’t eliminate the need to stand in line and wait for our time slot.

You pay quite a lot for very little. You don’t skip lines, you get on a line with others who paid €60. The guide was knowledgeable but seeing David requires nothing more than your eyes. Get a ticket and go on your own.

The service you purchased was an entrance ticket product, not a guided tour. However, because we had availability in one of our guided groups on the day of your visit, we invited you to join the tour at no additional cost as a gesture of goodwill. This was an added benefit that was not included in your original booking.
Regarding the pricing, this is 2026, and operating costs across the tourism industry have increased substantially. Reservation fees, staffing, customer support, museum-related costs, guide fees, audio equipment, and general operating expenses have all risen significantly.
Furthermore, no operator can bypass mandatory museum security checks. The service provides reserved priority access and guaranteed entry during periods when official tickets are often sold out, not the elimination of security procedures required by the museum.
While some visitors may prefer to explore independently, many guests specifically choose guided experiences to gain historical context, artistic insights, and a deeper understanding of Michelangelo's David and the museum's collection. We are pleased that you acknowledged the guide was knowledgeable.

Our guide was fantastic. He was exactly at the meeting point, and got us right into the museum. Even though it was packed, he knew where to lead us, which side of each exhibit, and he spoke the entire time into his microphone. His voice was very calming even with the noise of the other visitors. We spent about 20 minutes at David, carefully walking to every angle. His words were so informative and detailed, and again very calming. This guide was GREAT!

I paid 34 euros to beat the queue and visit Arcadia - then my order was cancelled and I had to paid 49 euros for the same thing with the same provider! we were only visiting Florence one day so I had little choice if I wanted to go - 4 of us went - it was really crowded and noisy and there is really not that much to see - you can also see a statue of David near the duomo so I can’t see why you would pay this money to see the original - it looks no different and there is little else of interest to see there - I would suggest the Uffizi gallery is a much better option

This “excursion” is a complete and utter scam. They purchased all these tickets in advance and upsell them to tourist who don’t have tickets purchased by the time their trip comes because they all sell out from these scammers who buy them all in advance and sell them on site sites like Viator. There is no such thing as skip the line. You come at your allotted time slot and enter the museum, like any other person. These people are standing outside selling paper tickets that they pre-purchased for less than half this price. Go on the museum website for when you’re coming to visit and pre-purchased your tickets in advance for cheaper.

The tour operator did not show up. When we got to the meeting place there were three other tour guides there. They all three said that the tour guide that I was booked with does not work on Sundays. I contacted Viator and they tried to contact them and they did not respond back to them. Thank goodness one of the other tour operators let us join their group. Viator did give me a refund, but it made the experience very stressful trying to get a new tour guide.

I never got the tickets. I but from Viator before and no issues, they sent the tickets via text but jot with this one. It was overpriced (usually 10 euros and I paid a $100!!! For 2 tickets) and didn’t get them.

Worked great. We didn’t make reservations in time and so this got us access. You pay about 2.5x the price if you buy in advance, but everything went smoothly and they got us in at our appointed time efficiently.
