Bad experience. Showed up at the correct time and place and nobody was there. Texted tour operator, no response. Phone number did not work. Feel cheated and upset because we paid for a tour that never happened.

What an art collection!

We visited in January. There was not a line to get in. It was easy to move around and see everything. We skipped the audio guide and used Rick Steve's tour guide. It added so much to the visit. Be sure to stop in the cafe afterwards to reflect on your visit and enjoy the views. The meeting point was difficult to find since we walked in from the river side. It would help to say that the statue is in the ne corner of the Piazalle Uffizi. There was construction in the middle and you couldn't see past it. The guide called on what's app so enter your phone number when you book, even if you don't have your home sim card active.

The communication with ticket company was appalling and confusing and as a result caused much stress surely there must be a more straightforward way of actually obtaining the entrance tickets. Sadly would not recommend using Viator.

This was one of the best museum tours I have ever had. Vicky was incredibly knowledgeable about the art in the Uffizi Galleries and the historical background to the creation of these masterworks. More interesting and informative than any art history class I have taken. I’d give her 10 stars if I could.

Uffizi is beautiful but getting tickets through Viator was challenging. The person who had our tickets was a random woman standing in front of a random column...ridiculous set up. It added stress to a situation that should not have been stressful. Viator needs to have a better way designed for distribution of the tickets.

No one showed to give us our tickets at the designated time and location. We received no explanation or apology. Fortunately, we went during the off season and could buy tickets there at half the price. Viator was really helpful in getting us a refund. Avoid purchasing from this specific tour operator though.

This is not really a skip the line experience. You have to wait on a long line. It is timed entry. Our time was 11 am and did not get in till about 11:30. The rest of the experience was great.

So what happens in this instance is you book with them and they buy the actual ticket in your name and transfer it to you electronically on site before you enter. I wasn’t aware that’s what was going to happen and was initially confused so I thought it might be helpful to have it clearly spelled out. Reminder to bring ID as these are named tickets and they do check ID at several stages of the entrance sequence. But for the life of me I couldn’t buy tickets directly from the Uffizi back home in the states so this was a lifesaver through the app. Worth the cost

All this got me was in the door. I didn't like the headsets since they skipped some pieces I was interested in. I'd hire a real guide. I think it's worth the money to have a professional than wandering the museum with out context.

I would recommend this as it takes any confusion away in figuring things out , the company takes care of tickets for you. You meet them at the designated spot to check in , them they electronically send you the entry ticket. The only part that was a little difficult was finding the statue to meet at because it was a little crowded, but we found it easily enough.

I know these resellers exist and they need to make a living, but this was literally no value add. We could have gone online and bought the rickets ourselves for half the price. It was a guy with a sign inputting our info and emailing me the digital ticket. He then pointed us where to go and we left. I so t begrudge people needing to make a living but a 100% markup for filling in a website seems a bit much. Shane on me for realizing this when I purchased this from Viator. I am also disappointed in Viator as I am told the reselling is illegal.

There were some issues happening at the museum the day of our visit, totally out of our skip the line operators control. The issues were going to cause hours long delays and, unfortunately, I only had a couple of hours to visit the museum. Our ticket guy was, honestly, just the best. He did EVERYTHING he could to get me into the museum - talked to everyone he knew there - and he succeeded! He got me in and made that dream come true for me. Thank you!!!

This could have been much more organized. Meeting place was described accurately, but the group needs more signage, and the system for providing tickets to customers needs major streamlining. That said, it’s better than having to stand in line for an hour to buy tickets at the museum!

Under no circumstances should anyone book with the tour company THINGS TO DO. We purchased tickets clearly labelled as accessible. We arrived with my disabled Mum. They offered no support and shrugged their shoulders when I pointed out that my mum was in a wheelchair (despite the fact that I'd advised this previously) and couldn't use the entrance. This tour operator then disappeared without resolving the situation. Upon complaining to Viator we were advised that we would not be receiving a refund or an apology because THINGS TO DO had refused. False advertising , which is against the law, clearly supported by Viator as this tour operator is allowed to advertise on their site. Absolutely disgusting and discrimatory treatment. I am beyond appalled.

Uffizi - very impressive, yet overwhelming in scope & size

The Uffizi is huge! It’s impossible to explore everything so determine ahead the sections to move through quickly & those to spend more time with. The stairways from floor to floor are long & steep although there are a few lifts available for those with strollers or mobility issues. Wear comfortable shoes for walking on hard surfaces. The “skip the line” non-guided tour is perfect for those who have knowledge of the history and art represented in the museum. A digital map can be scanned to a phone, however a paper map of the layout would be very helpful too. The gathering spot to obtain entrance ticket was difficult to find, simply because the company representatives were not there on time.
