Very family friendly. Time was very well spent, lots of floaties available to lounge around. Maybe do bring your own kids life jackets but the water wasn't deep at all for my 6 year old. Samantha and the captain we had were awesome! Do yourself a favor and book! BYOB

The staff were amazing!! Jasmine and Roger (I believe) were so wonderful!!! ❤️The whole experience was one to remember!! Fun music, lots of rafts to play on, lots of beach toys to use. Could not have asked for a better time. My family and I had a blast!!! 110% recommend. 😄💦

So first off let me say that the people that run this boat are awesome! They made the experience so chill and relaxing. The boat itself was very nice and roomy. We listened to great music and had a blast! Everyone loved crab island. It was very neat and pretty. Speaking for everyone in our group of 5 adults, we would definitely recommend doing this trip !!

Captain Roger and first mate Dom were awesome! The booking process was easy, the check-in was simple, the fun was plentiful! The boat ride out had fun music playing and we stopped a few times to watch the dolphins around the boat. The entire time at crab island was a blast, the boat had plenty of nets, balls, and floats! We blew up some tubes of our own to take with us, but we didn’t need them!! Roger and Dom even interacted in the water with us, they helped catch crabs, point out a jelly fish, and even catch a pufferfish. When we wanted food from the vendors they radioed them over for us! Our group of 12 highly recommended using Sandy Bottom Tours!!

We had an amazing time! Captain took us to see dolphins on the way to crab island. Helped my son catch crabs at crab island, and just an over all great experience and great vibes!

It was so much fun. The water was warm and crab island is like a big beach party in the water. Our captain spotted dolphins on the way back to Ft. Walton. There were so many and so cute as they jumped out of the water. We stayed for a while watching them. It was a perfect day.

I took my kids and grandkids and we were shown an excellent time. One of the best captains I’ve experienced. He created a vibe that kept the whole boat going the entire time!

We had a fantastic time. The crew was amazing. Could not have asked for a for a more fun and enjoyment. We have been on three different crab island cruises and this one was by far the best. The first mate was truely amazing. Will book with again.

10/10 I would recommend this boat tour over and over again. I brought my kids and it was super kid friendly but it could also just be for adults they had floats for everyone, googles, water guns, and footballs. I would definitely come again.

We genuinely had a fun time but dont be fooled by the “4 hour” activity time. We have done crab island before for 3hrs with different tour and it was 1hr travel (going and leaving) & 2hrs in water Somehow with this 4hr we were in water only 2hrs.. We were in water by 9:30am and got back on the boat @ 11:35. We were disappointed since we paid extra for parking as well. Overall captains were very nice and let us know we would stay on outskirt of crab island since it was the 4th of july which we understood

Crab Island is a fun place to see blue crabs and hermit crabs. The boat captain had tons of floats to lay on and water toys for the kids.

The guides were excellent and quick on their feet. There was a summertime pop up shower, and they kept everyone entertained and calm. Eventually the weather cleared, and we were able to enjoy their flotation devices and toys. They were attentive while we enjoyed crab island by making sure we had ice, access to a trash can, and calling over vendors. I will 100% book with them again.

This cruise was 100% amazing! Enough floats for everyone…great music - had everyone dancing having a good time! Guide kept it entertaining and fun even for the little ones!

Where do I start? I was looking for a family friendly boat to go out to Crab Island and Sandy Bottom Boat Tours was everything and more! Nina and Captain Roger’s were absolutely amazing. They were so kind, played GREAT music and helped everyone on board with anything they needed. The bathroom on board is clean. They have numerous floats, goggles, water toys, footballs and nets! We saw dolphins on our way in too. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a fun SAFE trip out on the water. Side note…I skipped coffee and needed a red bull ASAP, Captain Roger wasted no time and radioed a vendor over that had red bull 🫶🏻

Great time! Sandy Bottom tour was perfect for our whole family! Good times at Crab Island. Water was clear and beautiful. Many food vendors in the area. Fun floats and music provided. Saw many dolphins on our way back to the dock. Perfect day! Just a note if you're booking, plan to pay around $10 for parking. It is advertised as free, but is not.

We had an amazing experience! They made sure we got to see some dolphins and once we got to crab island they had everything we needed such as floats, goggles, nets, and volley balls. We will definitely book with them again next time.

We travel to FL at least once a year and book different activities. This year we wanted to spend a day at Crab Island and after researching tour companies I ran across Sandy Bottom Boat Tours and am happy I did. The company is independently owned and operates by Amy and her husband, their boat and water floats are top notch. We had such a good time the day we went that we made reservations for the same activity the very next day. I cannot express enough how awesome the owners are, they make sure that you have a good time and get your moneys worth. I would recommend to everyone and we plan to make this an activity we book every year. Thank you!

The customer service was outstanding! Both the captain and co-captain were incredibly friendly, making us feel safe and comfortable during the ride to and from Crab Island. The captain even made special stops so we could watch the dolphins up close. It was a fun, family-friendly experience from start to finish!

We come to Destin every year and always do a boat adventure to crab island. We've booked thru many tour operators but this one was really great and we will stick with this one for now on. I wanted a boat with bathroom on board, good floats for in the water and we could bring our own drinks. This one hit all three so we ran with it and happy we did. The operator docked the boat in great spot and played great music the entire time and asked for requests. There was a huge bucket of water toys/squirt-guns/footballs etc for the kids to play with. Very family friendly. He was happy to accommodate any request. We had a blast!!
