- This is a multi-generational experience suitable for everyone from keiki (children) to kupuna (grandparents). It is a safe, seated experience with no drops or high-impact movement.
- Flight of Aloha is designed as a “gentle thrill.” Unlike roller coasters or turbulent helicopter rides, our motion is smooth and sweeping. We successfully host guests with mild vertigo and motion anxiety daily. If you are prone to severe motion sickness, we recommend taking precautions, but most guests find it very manageable and enjoyable.

It was okay, but honestly, I wasn’t very impressed. The scenery and visual effects were nice, but nothing particularly breathtaking or memorable. It felt similar to a typical 3D experience

Great immersive view from above of all of Hawaiian beautiful topography. Would recommend in lieu of a plane ride.

This tour was round trip from Kona.Ten hours total. Lots of great stops. We learned alot about the Big Island.

This is an unusual experience, you get the experience if being in a helicopter without ever leaving the ground. Some surprises along the way.

It was an exciting and informative “flight” around the island of Kona! We saw much more via drone than we would have had we taken a “regular” excursion and for my husband who is disabled it was perfect! We were seat buckled into “plane seats” and it honestly felt like we were flying! It would be wonderful if every port offered a similar experience! We definitely were very pleasantly surprised! And Ceci (our tour guide) was great!

We believe everyone should get to experience a full tour of the Big Island without the physical barriers of a "regular" excursion, so hearing that our immersive theater worked perfectly for you means the world to us.
We are also glad the visuals blew you away! Fun fact: While the shots are super smooth, most of our film was actually shot by helicopter, not a drone! We use helicopters to capture those cinematic, high-speed angles that make it feel like a genuine flight over Hawaii.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the duration and wanted to clarify how our timing works to help future guests. The Single Feature generally runs 25–30 minutes, while the Double Feature runs 45 minutes to 1 hour. The exact time can vary depending on how full the theater is, as it takes a little extra time to move larger groups from the pre-show area to the main theater and get everyone’s photos taken.
