This was great. Our traveling group always does a cooking experience and this one was great! Katie was expert in touring the fields with us and describing all of the different plants. Then Austin was fantastic in preparing and cooking an awesome meal using all of those plants! Both Katie and Austin were professional, knowledgeable and very friendly! We five would HIGHLY recommend this tour!!

The activity was educational and enjoyable. The area is incredible and the farm and picking the vegetables and leaning about the operation and the people that work there was fun. Though we prepped the vegetables the actual cooking was done by one of the volunteer/workers which I wish we could have done more of but the food was awesome! I would recommend this all who are interested.
Casual but fun, I’d do it again. All volunteers so you don’t get a real education on everything but your hands will be dirty as you tried everything.
Wear tennis shoes or other closed toe flat shoes as you do walk on uneven ground and through some weedy areas when out on the farm.
If you love cooking farm to table this is a must! Knowledgeable staff members welcome you in to their home. Food was delicious!!
It was a great learning experience touring the farm with Natalie. We picked a lot of the vegetables that went into our lunch - almost the entire lunch came from what we picked!
Davey was a knowledgeable chef, and even though I cook a lot myself - I still learned a lot! It was both relaxing and inspiring to spend the morning on the farm. We took a little walk down to the river after which was also very beautiful.
This was a great laid back and relaxing experience, had so much fun! Picked our own ingredients and then got to enjoy them in our meal. Small group was the way to enjoy this the most. There were just 4 of us. 4-6 is a perfect size for this experience.
AMAZING!! From the moment we got there till it was time to go we had a fantastic experience!! Upon arrival you are greeted by a friendly pup and stunning waterfall! Staff was so knowledgeable and kind! Definitely recommend!
We spent a beautiful morning touring the farm and then made lunch in a gorgeous refurbished barn. (They have a first class kitchen on second floor of barn, with breathtaking views of the ocean.) We foraging on the farm for lunch ingredients, fed the goats, ate the freshest bananas right off the tree, and sampled some of the best coffee. The farm is on the grounds of the Inn at Kulaniapia Falls, where you can walk through gorgeous bamboo gardens and right up to a breathtaking waterfall. This is a unique experience that we highly recommend.
This was an awesome experience! I chose this for a friend date and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the guides were so personable, knowledgeable, and overall just awesome women. 10/10 would do it again!
Adrian was a blast from meeting us through the end. Totally different fun experience from collecting the eggs to hand selecting all the veggies from the farm. Returned to the “barn” and prepared the full meal from scratch. Lots of fellowship and entertaining. Well worth the price.
Had a fantastic time with a chef who was very knowledgable about the farm. The location is beautiful and we were able to see the waterfall before and after the lunch. Would recommend for anyone in Hilo. I think we were fortunate we had a great person leading us through the event but the people there rotate quite often so this may change. But it was a fantastic experience!
Enjoyed the farm tour and being able to select the fresh produce that we prepared in the cooking portion. Our tour guide Ayden was enthusiastic which made it enjoyable. It was a very unique experience.
We enjoyed walking the farm and learning about the foods that grow in the region. We also enjoyed creating the meal based on what we sourced. Fun experience for the family.
