Our tour with Chad/Vantigo was nostalgic, fun & impressive!!
We started our trip with a city tour and I’m so glad we did! Chad with Vantigo Tours was an amazing tour guide and a rather impressive driver. His knowledge of the San Francisco history and culture was astounding. Our tour was a very educational and also hilarious with all the dad jokes! The vintage VW bus was so nostalgically beautiful, clean and comfortable!
I’m so glad we chose Vantigo Tours, we had a wonderful time while also learning some key history highlights of San Francisco.
Listen closely while riding along, Chad gave lots of great recommendations that we tried and loved!
Thank you, Chad & Vantigo Tours, for making our anniversary trip the best it could be!
You won’t go wrong choosing a tour with these guys to see all the highlights of San Francisco!

Such a fun and...
Such a fun and informative tour! Well worth the money and really gave a great look into the communities and the lives that have lived and currently live there. Also, the tour ends in such a fun part of the city to walk around and explore even once it’s done. Highly recommend. Andre was a phenomenal guide.

Skip the Bus tour of San Fransisco
Brian was an incredibly competent and knowledgeable guide. Being a native of San Fran, he had all the history as well as insider bits of info that made what we saw very interesting and fun! He prepared snapshots on a screen for us as well as provided snacks and water. The van was very clean and comfortable. The group size was only 6 so it was very relaxed as well. I would highly recommend this tour with this guide.!

A great, diverse package tour when visiting San Fransisco.
Jules was our guide: he was informative, friendly and patient. The tour itself was a completely unforgettable experience. Muir Woods is breathtakingly beautiful and serene. It really is a must see - outstanding! The drive through Sausalito totally inspired us to revisit in our own time a day or so later. We opted for Alcatraz in the tour package, which is also a must see for very different reasons. The guided audio tour really exceeded my expectations - so thoughtfully put together. All in all a great, diverse package tour. Highly recommended.

Excellent introduction to a fascinating city, especially for those never having visited.
Dirceu knows the city and its history so well that he drove us to all the neighborhoods without ever backtracking, spoke with relish about the people and places and answered question's accurately. He met us promptly, respected our request to have a lunch break and used the time perfectly. There were 6 of us -- all adults -- and the two rear seats would probably be uncomfortable for those 6ft and over and window views not as spacious as the seats in middle and with driver. This a minor issue for sure. Also, Dirceu pointed out that going early in the day, preferably not on a Sunday, allows for much less traffic and perhaps more opportunities to stop and look around.

Wonderful walking tour that will leave your belly full
The walking tour around North Beach/Little Italy was fantastic. You definitely won't leave hungry. We started our tour at Caffe Greco for coffee/espresso/cappuccino and a cannoli from Stella Pastry. Our next stop was a Molinari Deli for a wonderful sandwich. Then we went to Betty Lou's for a fettucine dish with a red cream sauce that was fantastic! Then we went to Steps of Rome and had an amazing pizza. Such a wonderful pizza. Our last stop was across from the Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral where Joe DiMaggio married his first wife call Mario's Bohemian Cigar Store and Cafe and we had an amazing tiramisu. We didn't go to Z. Cioccolato for fudge, but the tiramisu was so good, I didn't care.
We did not got by Coit Tower, but it was pointed out to us. We also had a small tour of Club Fugazi which wasn't listed on the tour, but our tour guide Scott is a local and this club is a San Francisco tradition. We were only in a small area but there was so much history in that small piece of San Francisco that you almost don't realize it.

We had a great day on...
We had a great day on this tour! We loved walking around Muir Woods. We also enjoyed Mayo winery, and Cline the best. Our tour guide Dustin was incredible! He was funny & informative. As a California native, he had lots of great recommendations as well!
We purchased the tickets for Muir Woods through the tour, but it didn’t save us any time in doing so. There was only 1 line to both purchase tickets and show prepurchased tickets. Would have made more sense to have 2 lines where folks who paid for the admission ahead of time could go in first. Additionally, we were curious what kind of footwear to wear for the Muir Woods part - our Birkenstocks worked just fine. The trails are either boardwalks or flat trails. You can hike a bit if you want, but I don’t believe there would be enough time to get back to the bus to depart for Sonoma.
We enjoyed a lunch at one of the restaurants in Sonoma Plaza, the red grape. We enjoyed a delicious pizza on the back patio. We didn’t have enough time to explore the plaza. We would suggest checking out the restaurant options in Sonoma Plaza ahead of time to save you time when you arrive for lunch. There wasn’t time to walk around and check out menus once we got there. Perhaps on a weekday it might be possible, but we were there on a Saturday and it was rather crowded in general.
Overall we had a great time exploring outside of San Francisco! Dustin was wonderful and we enjoyed many delicious wines!

Perfect evening!
This cruise was lovely! The sunset views were amazing, and the crew made sure to let the catamaran linger in a few places that were especially beautiful so everyone could get pictures. Comfortable boat and hospitable staff. It’s chilly and windy on the water with a chance you might get wet if you sit in the front. Dress accordingly!

We got to see many great places all in one day!
We really enjoyed this tour, the Muir Woods is majestic! Absolutely a must see, just walking there removed all the stress in the world, and we felt so much connected with nature. Sausalito is nothing special.. just a free time between Muir Woods and Alcatraz. Alcatraz is a place you visit out of curiosity, don’t expect to see much. The smell there is foul and the place is filled with pelican droppings, but we enjoyed it and didn’t regret it, to sum it all, it was a nice day and was very enjoyable.

Wonderful afternoon San Francisco/Muir Woods/Sausalito experience
Our guide/driver gave us a very informative and humorous tour of San Francisco on our way to Muir Woods. Muir Woods was absolutely amazing to see and would recommend to anyone. Sausalito was a nice way to end the trip. We took ferry back to SF to get some extra time in Sausalito - also beautiful views of Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and San Francisco skyline from the ferry.
