Starting and ending at Fisherman's Wharf, this sightseeing tour takes you around the city, including Chinatown, North Beach, the Castro, the Mission, downtown and more. Make your own way to the meeting point in the center of San Francisco, hop aboard your VW bus, and get ready to leave your heart in San Francisco.
Start with a drive through Haight-Ashbury, past the former homes of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and members of the Grateful Dead. Continue through Union Square and the Civic Center to the Golden Gate Bridge where you make a stop for photographs.
After maneuvering your way along the world's most crooked street, drive through the neighborhoods of Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy, and the Castro while your guide regales you with fascinating stories from their histories.
Make another photo stop in the colorful Mission District and learn about its Latin roots before heading past Gollden Gate Park on your way back to the pickup point where your tour ends.

My family including my husband, daughter and 88 year old mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour tour of the San Francisco area. The tour was in an intimate retro VW van. Our tour guide Cyrus was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the San Francisco history and neighborhoods. We highly recommend this tour and tour guide.
What a fun tour. It had a well planned out route, and we saw so much of the city. Our guide was informative and entertaining throughout. The 60's theme was especially interesting and fun.
Our only complaint was that we missed our first scheduled tour by literally 5 minutes. The van was pulling away as we drove up looking for parking. We tried calling both the tour company and Viator to say we were there but couldn't get ahold of anyone.
Wished we would have received a call to check on our status.
When we were finally able to reach Viator were
were told if we wanted to join a later tour we'd need to pay again.
We ended up for the tour the following morning and paying again. A bummer, but still a really fun tour.
Great experience. The vans need a speaker system so passengers can hear in the back. Otherwise, it was a phenomenal tour. The driver was great and funny. Quite enjoyable.
Get ready to have your picture taken while riding the Little VW Love Bus on the Love Tour. You’ll see lots of peace signs flashed your way too. Loved seeing the sights around San Francisco and tour guide was great. Highly recommend!
Our guide was sooooooooo much fun!!! He was also a good photographer, knowing just the right shots to make memories for us to cherish.
A fun and easy way to get a fabulous overview of San Francisco. The van is very comfortable and safe. Our tour guide Cyrus was funny and knowledgeable. He took great pictures for all of us. The group is small enough so you don’t feel overwhelmed, but it was really nice to be with other people since I was traveling by myself. I had a wonderful experience!

This tour was a lot of fun, singing to the old songs was great. It's a shame we didn't get out at the painted ladies or the crooked street as where we were staying wasn't nearby so we didn't experience the area as much as if we had time out of the van.
Wonderful way to see San Francisco. Dave was full of great stories and he covered the city so well. We have been to San Francisco before but loved this tour! It is different than a bus tour and was so much more interesting! Don't miss it.
LOVED this tour! Tara, our guide, was WONDERFUL in every way possible - ensuring we saw many sites - learned so much about SFO - and her humor kept us laughing throughout the entire tour! Marvelous, fun tour. Tara was a wonderful guide. Entertaining and informative. Great music and great sights. Riding down crooked Lombard St singing, with our radio blaring, and giving peace sign to all the folks photographing us is a memory to keep. I highly recommend this tour.

We loved this tour!! We seen all the highlights of the city. The tour guide, Kai, was very knowledgeable. And we had fun riding in the hippie van giving bystanders the peace sign. ✌️
Kai was amazing and so knowledgeable. Seeing all the sights in a few hours was fantastic. Taking a small group tour was perfect. Saw places and heard stories we wouldn't have got on our own.

Cyrus was very knowledgeable and helpful. Mother in law has mobility challenges and he was always there to help out. I would recommend this for a fun tour.
