- For the small-group experience, each electric cart accommodates a maximum of 7 travellers, and multiple carts may be used per departure. While we do our best to seat groups together, this cannot be guaranteed, and guests may be split across separate carts.
- For the private experience, your group will have exclusive use of an electric cart (maximum 7 people). This option is priced at a fixed total rate for up to 7 guests, meaning the full price applies regardless of group size.
- Please arrive as scheduled, dress appropriately for the weather, and check your messages for any updates. Since our electric carts are not heated and are open to the environment, we recommend wearing layers of clothing during colder months.

A great way to see all the sights of Washington DC. Shaded ride that is nimble to get through traffic and see monuments and buildings up close. Convenient for solo travelers.
Mariko_P, Jul 2026
Alan was a super guide and we saw all the highlights of DC and learnt so much. Definitely recommend.
Bljaudon, Jul 2026
Adam was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable and we ended up learning a lot. The golf cart ride was perfect for a hot day because we would not have been able to walk to all of those places. We have two kids (6 & 10) and they had a blast. Adam kept them engaged the entire time. Would definitely recommend.

This was extremely convenient and informative. The perfect way to see a number of Main attractions without the hassle of a large group. Our driver was very informative and answered all of our questions!

Cortland was the best tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best tour possible.
Eric_W, Jul 2026
We were deeply disappointed by our tour with Dee, which felt more like a political commentary than a historical tour. Rather than highlighting the significance and sacrifice behind our national monuments, she used the time to voice her frustrations with wealth inequality and the current administration. We came to appreciate our country's rich history, not to listen to a personal agenda.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Eric,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the tour didn't meet your expectations.
It's disappointing to read that the commentary wasn't the experience you had hoped for. Our Urban Adventures are designed to provide engaging and informative insights into the history, culture and significance of the places we visit, and we're sorry to hear this wasn't reflected during your tour.
We really appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective, as feedback like yours helps us continue reviewing the experiences we deliver. We'll ensure your comments are shared with our local team so they can review the concerns you've raised.
Best regards,
Intrepid Urban Adventures Team

Our driver Lorenzo was fantastic. We had the best trio and will highly recommend you to others 🤩 thank you so much
Virginia_B, Jul 2026
The tour would have been a 5 star tour but on July 5 the streets were still blocked off. We drove past many sights, Dante was quite knowledgeable, but the Lincoln Memorial was the only monument we could actually visit up close. Dante was very accommodating and gets a 10 out of 10 in my book for effort.
Lisa_D, Jul 2026
Our guide Deonte was very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the tour. Although two of the main roads were blocked off due to 250th anniversary, our guide was still able to make the tour enjoyable.
Amanda_S, Jul 2026
Nice tour gide even tho it was blazing hot outside and every one is very nice but you have to wait a little bit
Chase_C, Jul 2026

Best way to see the sights by far. Drivers are very well educated and friendly. They were very helpful and accommodating as my mother uses a waker.

Wonderful tour! Friendly, knowledgeable guide. Perfect amount of stops for pictures. Would recommend
Y_C, Jun 2026
We had an outstanding tour experience and cannot recommend our guide, Cortland, highly enough. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history and significance of every site we visited. His explanations were detailed and informative, yet always interesting and easy to follow.
What made the tour especially memorable was his personal story about visiting the Oval Office as a child and receiving cookies baked by Barbara Bush. Hearing this firsthand experience brought history to life in a unique and personal way that no guidebook could ever capture! It added a special dimension to the tour and made us feel connected to the people and events behind the history.
Throughout the tour, he was friendly, professional, and happy to answer questions. His enthusiasm and storytelling skills made the experience both educational and enjoyable. Thank you for an exceptional tour—we will remember it for a long time.
Gail_D, Jun 2026
Our driver was great but we got turned away by park staff and could not see several of the monuments. Seems the company hadn’t gotten the correct permits. Disappointed because of that.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Dear Gail_D, Glad to hear your driver was great, but I’m really sorry the experience was impacted on the day. I’ll be flagging this with the team to ensure access and permits are properly in place going forward
Heather_R, Jun 2026
This is a very nice tour. I enjoyed the mini history lesson. My guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out many places and lots if dates along the way. Great job! Unfortunately, I can not remember his name.
Ed_I, Jun 2026
The guide was knowledgeable, helpful, full of resources and so friendly. Cortland was a great ambassador for the DC area and your brand!
Vreneli_C, May 2026
Peter is doing a great job touring us around the famous spots in the city. Despite the traffic and pressured time, he managed to be composed and relaxed. What a nice and unforgettable DC experience!!!!
Laurie_R, May 2026
Alan was super informative!!! Even had a binder with before/after pictures. Unfortunately, we had a flat tire. We have the option to reschedule tour or be reemboursed!
Nice!
Kathleen_M, May 2026
Tour was the perfect amount of time to get an overview of the monuments and key sights. Guide was informative and fun. Did not feel rushed
Ashley_F, May 2026
Our tour guide was awesome, but the weather was terrible. This company should provide rain covers for the golf carts. We paid $300 to get soaked on this tour!
Radica_M, May 2026
Very informative and fun. Our guide Di was very knowledgeable and courteous. Would definitely recommend her.
Denise_M, May 2026
Amazing. Adam was the greatest tour guide. Even though it rained we had a great time. Adam was so knowledgeable
Nicole_H, May 2026
This tour is in an open car and the tour operator would not allow a refund when the weather was pouring rain. I was also willing to accept a rebook to another date and that was also not offered.
Elizabeth_H, May 2026
This was a great way to get around the city. Ellen, our guide, was terrific! She gave us a lot of background stories and history about what we were seeing. She also let us get off at different points for picture taking and also to explore certain areas on our own.
Towards the end of our tour, she gave us some quick tips on whereabouts to eat and also navigating the Metro stops.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you, Elizabeth! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the Washington Mall & Monuments by Electric Car Tour and appreciated Ellen's guidance and insights. We're glad she provided you with photo opportunities and helpful tips for your continued exploration around the city!
