Operating Schedule: This ticket covers the Blue Route only: 8 stops through Downtown Boston, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and more. Our double-decker, open-top buses run approximately every 30 minutes, offering unlimited hop-on hop-off access from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (last reboarding at Stop 1 by 4:00 PM). You may board at any of the 8 stops along the route, but we recommend starting your tour at our main boarding and departure point, Stop 1. Stop 1 — 206 Atlantic Ave Located just outside the main entrance of the Marriott Long Wharf.

Very good tour excellent knowledge by tour guide, easy hop on hop off, eight stops with plenty to see once off the bus
Enjoyable experiance informative tour guide, buses run every 30 mins so no long waits. See the city highlights with no stress and explore different areas with the hop on hop off.
If you pay for it on the app and then get there and they can't see it and you pay again. You're not getting a refund.
I called to ask for help about the stops and the person who answered the phone was so rude and basically told me that’s what I get for booking through viator and not directly through their website. Then we got on the bus, the tour guide wasn’t that great and when we stopped we asked a question and he said “I don’t know, I’m getting off I’m taking my lunch.” We stayed on and DAVID was the absolute gem of a guide. He was driving us as well and he was absolutely wonderful. My rating is for him only. Otherwise I would give this experience a 1.
Great trip very informative staff. Very knowledgeable about Boston and gave us a great insight into the history of Boston
It was a little bit hard to listen to the guide on the top part of the bus (only if you were sitting in the back half).

Our tour guide I think his name was David (Blue Line 3rd stop around 245-3p) BOSTON COMMONS. He was most accommodating and verbally entertaining. Enjoyed the brief tour but did not know it ended at 4pm vs 5p as stated on the tickets we bought. When he began to advise people boarding at later stops--I realize we spent approx $55 each to ride just a few stops. Not happy and the every 30min wasnt accurate either. We waited an hour for the Bus. Not peased for the amount paid.
Don’t be fooled you need multiple tickets to see the entire area! Very difficult to understand the routes!
Well worth the price. Perfect way to see Boston if you don't have lots of time. The tour guides are great.
You do not get pick up locations when you buy the tickets. Can't find the location to board, no refund. Read the fine print first.
Interesting tour guide but tried too hard to be funny. His main forcu was how many Dunkin Donut stores there are.
Great experience on the bus . We went round the whole route then went again hopping off and on . Extremely funny guide on the bus with a huge amount of historical information.
We purchased the tickets and waited over two hours for a bus that never showed up! Then was told that we had to walk 4 miles if to get on another buses loop. No return calls, only emails. And they would not issue a refund
Really good experience. The operator was very knowledgeable about the sites of the city and was very good with his presentation.
The bus isn’t always on time. We had to wait over 20 minutes to start our tour because the bus was late for some reason. We waited 20 minutes past the scheduled stop time at another stop. That was in the morning run. The afternoon experience was a lot better and more enjoyable.
Fun and interesting tour. Great tour guide. Comfortable ride. We totally enjoyed the afternoon. A great way to see the highlights.
Worst compagny, Zéro customer service, hung up on us twice and mean on the phone for a simple request of a location for point of pickup.

1st bus, the guide could not be heard by the majority of people on the top. The bus was late starting as well. The 2nd bus was 30 minutes late at the only hop off point we took. Signed up for the ALL day 12 stop and was told once we arrived back at the pick up point the ride was done. Looked at the n print out and sure enough on the second page it stated 1-8 stops. Don't waste your money.

Good if you can’t do much walking. The walking tours of freedom trail are better. See the big 3 historic buildings.

I have been on a number of hop on hop off buses and this was not the best. The guide was fine, the driver food, the sights ok. It is a short route and focuses on the history of Boston, an important city in the colonial US. Adding stops.closer to.the Harbour and including information on Bristish Boston would have enhanced the trip. The whole trip is just over an hour and very expensive for what you get.

Somewhat difficult locating pick-up locations. We circled 1 part of Boston 2X for some strange reason. Other than that informative ride that is a bit pricy.

You need to ask how many stops are a part of the one day pass. I was only able to do an 8 stop tour (which I could have walked). I thought it had purchased the one with more stops. The tour guide was good tho.
1. The instructions lack where to go! That should be the basic, but neither the Viator nor the booking email had the location to go to!
2. Customer service is poor. I booked at 2:50, thinking that it says till 5. But soon got panicky, because no one picked my phone. I emailed in panic as well. So, I booked a cab to go to the nearest hop-on point. Lucky for me, they called me and told me the point to go to. By that time I was in Uner, so I changed destination. But, even the starting point was not accurate land mark! They told me Aquarium T station, but it was 2 streets away at the opposite corner at Aquarium itself! Lucky for me, my son spotted the busses standing 200 meters away.
Bottomline, they should be clear in instructions on where to go, and they should have a hot-line to call.
Still, once we got in, it was not that bad for last bus of the day. We felt lucky that we did not miss it.
So, I wouldn't book it next time if closer to end time for the day. You must have a buffer of at least 3 hours, it would seem!
Nice way to see all the neighborhoods. A little disappointed that we had to diviate from the original route and missed some historical sites.
A little difficult to figure out where to jump on if you aren’t getting on at 1. Had to call to find out.
