The Only Way To Go

My wife and I have come to the conclusion that a city tour is the only way to go to really learn about history and personality of a city. This was really true in Berlin. There is so much history packed into a small area here. Our tour guide was Leon. He was wonderful showing us all the places where this history happened. His patience and knowledge in being able to answer all of our questions was appreciated.

This was an excellent walking tour, which Jamie brought to life with his in-depth knowledge of Berlin. Explanations were clear and it was great to learn so much about the city and its history whilst on the move. The terrain was flat and easy for all fitness levels, but there was a short coffee break halfway through. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience

Our guide Luc was wonderful, attentive, and very accommodating. He was passionate and very informative about the history and background of both the Falls and Basilica. Both sites were amazing. We loved the gondola ride and getting up close to the falls. The Basilica was beautiful and meaningful as Luc pointed out so many details and symbols that we would have missed on our own. Very highly recommended!

Beautiful tour!

Jac was an amazing tour guide! We signed up for the 6pm tour, we were worried about day light but it was actually so beautiful seeing the sunset towards the end of our tour. The tour hit all the important spots in old Quebec. Jac was able to provide history and more current information about places we stopped at. The tour is well paced where you walk and stop and talk. The funicular was a fun and convenient part of the trip so we didn’t have to climb all those steps. The one downside was there wasn’t enough time for picture taking, you have to be quick or do it while the guide is speaking. But overall I highly recommend!

A little history and delicious food. We loved all the stops and we were very excitied to taste the best of the best of the food Quebec City has to offer. Maud had great recommendations and made the tour engaging. We did 2 other tours while in town and this was the must do and best. The added surprise was how much history Maud told us about the area and the city.

We really love food. All...

We really love food. All our trips are planned to include fabulous dining experiences. This historic gourmet food tour with an essentially 5 course progressive restaurant-hopping “meal” was 10/10! Lynn was so nice and super knowledgeable. We learned so much about Quebec, Quebec people, and Quebec City’s history (and some extra history lessons!) The restaurants and food choices were on a whole other level than your usual food tour (which I am not knocking because we love those too)- but when they said gourmet, they meant gourmet! The food was so incredible!! And seeing Old Quebec City through Lynn’s eyes was such a beautiful experience. 100% recommend. A must do! I wish I could do it all over again!

Good tour with a great guide!

Jean Francois was a great guide and driver! Very personable and outgoing. We hit four stops- a chocolate factory, a nougat factory, a cider house, and a vineyard/winery. All stops were nice, but fairly short. At the chocolate place, there was no where to even sit- we just stood and ate 3 chocolate samples. No water or drink was offered at that time, although there was a small coffee bar where you could purchase a beverage. Overall, this was a very nice tour and a good way to see the highlights of Ile d’Orleans.

Our Guide made Quebec City come to life!

It was great to have a private 4-hour tour of Quebec City. Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed us many things we would have missed without this experience. We customized our tour and visited Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. Oh my word - such a beautiful basilica - reminded me of European churches. Don't miss this gem when visiting. We have found hiring the private guide gives us flexibility to go at our pace and go places that the larger tours don't go. I highly recommend this tour.

Do this if in Quebec City!

We had done a Quebec City tour years ago and wanted something different. This ended up being one of the best excursions I have ever done after 40+ cruises. Beautiful weather/fall foliage certainly helped but our guide was fabulous and the places we visited were unique and different from the usual places where all the tourists go. Highly recommend this experience
