What are people saying about San Francisco

Nice way to spend a day
This was a great tour. Sully was an awesome, informative guide. We were able to see some local sights while getting some SF city history. The bus was clean and very comfortable. The trip out to Muir Woods came with it's own history and information and even some music. We had a nice in Sausalito and, again, had some history and music at this so, as well. Highly recommend.

Highly Recommend—Especially if You Get Ron as Your Guide
This was an amazing full-day excursion and an excellent value for the money. My mother, sister, and I all loved it.
A big part of that was our driver and guide, Ron. We were all raving about him during the trip and even the next day. He was an excellent driver, making the long day comfortable with a smooth, relaxing ride. As a guide, he struck the perfect balance—sharing enough information to keep things interesting without talking nonstop or overwhelming the group.
For me, the most beautiful part of the tour was the coastal drive and the first half of the day leading up to Cannery Row. The scenery was absolutely stunning and worth the trip by itself. It is a long day, so taking a quick nap on the van here and there is not a bad idea.
If I had one critique, it would be that the longer stops in Cannery Row and Carmel-by-the-Sea were less exciting than the coastal sightseeing portions of the tour. Cannery Row felt a bit touristy, and by the time we reached Carmel, we were getting tired and didn't enjoy that stop quite as much as the earlier parts of the day.
That said, we all agreed that this tour was well worth the cost and something we would happily do again. Ron was knowledgeable, relatable, easygoing, and a real gem. We were very fortunate to have him as our guide, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the San Francisco area.

Excellent wine tour
Excellent!!! I am so happy that I booked this tour for me and some friends. Antony was our driver/guide and he was truly wonderful. He took us to 3 amazing vineyards where we met amazing people and learned so much about Sonoma. I would highly recommend this tour.

Fast pace!!!
It’s an easy transition where you meet and head back. The only thing is your moving fast not really enjoying your time to view everything because your on a time frame. Our host Robert really knew all his sights very well and recommendations but a bit too fast to move to the next sight.

Mixed age groups
It was an amazing way to see the city and the entire Bay Area! We went at the end of May and the sky cleared up just in time for our 11:45 ride. We had 3 elder guest who only spoke Spanish and they had a great time listening to all the history through headphones. The sitting options everywhere were also key. One elder had a cane and got to go to the front to board. She was given extra time before the rest rushed behind her. All in all highly recommend this for mixed age groups.

Great tour
Yosemite was an amazing experience in and of itself. The tour guide made it extra special. We pulled off at all of the best stops. He was always aware and interested in whatever you was thinking. I could not recommend this tour enough.
There was plenty of opportunity to explore on your own at two stops. The bathrooms in the hotel lobby are going to be better than the ones in the cafeteria. 100%. So don't wait in line there just walk across the way to the hotel check-in.
It was an excellent excellence tour.

Amazing scenic tour with...
Amazing scenic tour with the wonderful Glenda, who really took care of us throughout the trip! We went from the snowy sequoia trail to some picture/viewpoint stops along the way to yosemite valley, to breathtaking views of the falls up close. Quite pricey but worth it for a once in a lifetime experience.

Best Tour Guide Ever
Alcatraz was surreal, educational, and incredibly interesting. The audio tour, narrated by former guards and inmates, really brought the prison’s history to life. Learning about the Indian occupation was powerful, and the views and gardens were beautiful.
Muir Woods was peaceful and breathtaking, with majestic redwoods and calming trails, while Sausalito was a charming seaside town. Our tour guide was informative, friendly, funny, and made the entire experience unforgettable. 10/10!

Fantastic Tour
Ron our tour guide was a fantastic. He took the time to give some history of the vinyards visited and we were also able to stop and get some good pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Sanfrancisco and Oakland Bay bridge. Well worth the money. Highly rexommended.

Magical
Muir Woods is absolutely beautiful. Walking among the redwoods early in the morning was magical. I highly recommend taking one of the early morning tours to Muir Woods. If you want to experience the woods in relative quiet and really take in the atmosphere without constant chatter, going early makes a big difference.
The tour itself was very well organized. Our guide made a stop at the Golden Gate Bridge and kept the group engaged throughout the drive with stories and commentary. He had a good sense for the group dynamic and managed to keep everyone entertained. Since we had extra time, he also added an additional stop at the Palace of Fine Arts, which was a nice bonus.
On the way back, we stopped in Sausalito and had the option to either return with the tour or take the ferry back ourselves, which I’d also recommend if the weather is nice.
Overall, it was a great experience and a very enjoyable way to see Muir Woods and the surrounding area.

Great Day in Napa
Was such a fun group of people to experience this with. Jeffery was our guide. He was funny, informative, personable and made this trip worth it. I’ve done similar tours and would say Dylan’s tour was the best so far. Jeffery was a huge part of that. Loooing forward to next time

Great Day!
Absolutely incredible trip to Yosemite. Long day of traveling to and from, but comfortable transportation. Made midway stop for break to and from Yosemite, could pick up food, drinks in grocery store or several fast food restaurants. Dropped us off at our hotel. Really nice guide. Highly recommend!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
A small peninsula in the middle of the California coast, San Francisco makes a strategic base camp for exploring Northern California and the Central Coast. See some of the Golden State's most iconic attractions by embarking on guided day trips from San Francisco, traveling to such destinations as California's wine country, redwood forests, national parks, and the coastal cities of Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea. Not only do these tours take care of all the planning and driving, but they can include packages with wine tastings, lunch, and dinners. Some even combine trips to two, three, or more attractions in one day.
