Worth it

The staff was amazing. Very attentive to the needs of the people in my group. They allowed us to be first on the boat because of my in law. They were friendly from beginning to end. The girl behind the concession stand was also amazing. All in all worth it. During the boat ride you're given history of everything your passing and they even have translator devices for those who speak a language other than English.

He knew all the best spots to stop for photos—from the dramatic coastlines to the Lone Cypress—and shared fascinating history and stories about the area that we never would have discovered on our own. This is an absolutely life changing experience, Viktor will not be your tour guide but your friend. He will show you the best spots and get your best angles. If i could book this trip at least once a week i probably would. The sights you will see on this trip will take your breath away. Half moon, el cap, the waterfalls, the sequoias, and so much more. You stop early to get some snacks at a grocery store and fill up your water and such then you make your way to one of the best experiences in your life. Like i said earlier book this trip. You will not be upset you did so, and while your at it see if you can request a tour guide, Viktor is the best person for this trip (no offense to the other guides lol).

Our tour guide Alex totally made this tour! He checked in that am to be sure we knew how to contact him if needed if we couldn’t locate him, was SO kind, personable, genuine, helpful, engaged and SO knowledgable about the city! His communication was excellent! Lunch recommendations he made were awesome. We saw so much but never felt rushed! The mini bus was comfortable and he was an excellent driver on the winding, cliff lined roads! We did the add on tour of Alcatraz and would highly recommend it. A walking tour was offered once we arrived to Alcatraz for about 30 mins and the park guide was an amazing story teller. The audio tour included in the Alcatraz tour thru this booking was excellent and headsets were provided despite the Viator agent I contacted prior to our trip saying they were not and that your audio was via private cellphone which was not the case and I was glad. This was not the Viator agents fault. He actually called the Alcatraz venue on my behalf which I thought was above and beyond and was told incorrectly. Thank you Alex! Steve and I so enjoyed meeting you and the wealth of info you provided us!!! Keep up the great job!!!!

Great Experience!

It’s a long day depending on where you start. We lucked out and had Beautiful Weather. Our guide Steve is really good at what he does. I would recommend having coffee only at the first stop. The lunch stop offers a better experience. That said, Tidal Coffee in Monterey has excellent coffee and serves a huge breakfast burrito that’s plenty enough for two.

Magical

Muir Woods is absolutely beautiful. Walking among the redwoods early in the morning was magical. I highly recommend taking one of the early morning tours to Muir Woods. If you want to experience the woods in relative quiet and really take in the atmosphere without constant chatter, going early makes a big difference. The tour itself was very well organized. Our guide made a stop at the Golden Gate Bridge and kept the group engaged throughout the drive with stories and commentary. He had a good sense for the group dynamic and managed to keep everyone entertained. Since we had extra time, he also added an additional stop at the Palace of Fine Arts, which was a nice bonus. On the way back, we stopped in Sausalito and had the option to either return with the tour or take the ferry back ourselves, which I’d also recommend if the weather is nice. Overall, it was a great experience and a very enjoyable way to see Muir Woods and the surrounding area.
