OMG ehat an excursion. Travelled the world done lots of great excursions with amazing tour guides but this was amazing. Tour guide and Cece the dog gave us an amazing experience of San Fran, Muirhead woods and saulsalito. So informative, great fun and we knew the same places in North Wales! Although the Alcatraz portion of the tour was canceled due to an emergency, the tour was still wonderful and I was issued a partial refund. Brendon is the owner and tour guide of San Francisco Tours, and he did a wonderful job. He was very informative about the city, he interspersed the narrative with personal experiences, he made recommendations of places to visit, and CiCi (his dog) was a crowd pleaser! I usually tour with the Hop On Hop Off bus when I visit different cities, but I'm so glad that I switched it up this time. We saw most places that the other bus visits, and had the benefit of Brendan.

Muir Woods is beautiful. The lunch stop in Sausalito is super fun. Gives you a great feel for the town. Lots of great information offered by guide. Photo opportunity at bridge were really nice. Alcatraz add on was worth it. Both my husband and I enjoyed the day.

Absolutely the best way to spend the day!
My husband and i did not want the hassle or expense of renting a car and trying to navigate the sights. Not only was this tour the perfect way to hit the SF highlights as well as Muir Woods, Sausalito and Alcatraz- Alex, our tour guide, was phenomenal! Absolutely fantastic! The driver shared a lot of knowledge about San Fransisco. Beautiful day! The Muir Woods was serene. Had a stunning 2 mile hike though the woods. Would have loved an extra 30 minutes in Sausalito but had a wonderful lunch at the Spinnaker. Highly recommend!

Overall the tour was pretty good, although I felt like it did not have enough stops along the way. When it says you pass by you literally pass by at full speed, not enough time to take a picture or even see the sight if you're not paying close attention. Our tour guides name was Alex, and he was lovely and full of so much knowledge and history. Unfortunately our tour landed on one of the rainiest days I have ever encountered in California, when we got to Muir woods we were drenched, socks, shoes, clothes, and then we had to sit in wet clothes for another 3 hours. So don't be like us and plan ahead if it shows rain bring an extra set of clothing. There is also not enough time in Sausalito you can sit and have lunch and that's it time to get back on the bus. Alcatraz is at the very end of the day and trust me by the end of the day you will be tired, I recommend to do Alcatraz separately on a different day because of this. Just this one day my husband and I walked over 6 miles, between Muir Woods, Sausalito, and Alcatraz. We were too tired for dinner and literally had to DoorDash that night ha-ha.

Alex was superb! The bus was adequately comfortable. Snacks & water was nice. Plenty of restrooms available at stops. If rain is in the forecast, definitely bring an umbrella and comfortable shoes you can get wet.
