This is an auto narrated trip. You can get some spectacular views of the Golden Gate and Bay bridges you'd only see off from the bay. The timing of this 1.5 tour was a perfect way to spend some time before heading off to a nice lunch or dinner. It's a great way to break up your day if you're interested in a view of the city by boat. It really put the layout of the city into perspective.

It’s a long day, but a great trip. Our driver, Robert, was wonderful. He was energetic and served us water and snacks during the day. We stopped at beautiful overlooks with time for photos and bathroom breaks. Robert explained each stop and narrated other details of the area while driving. We had a lunch break in Monterey and my family and I were able to go to the aquarium during this break. We bought the aquarium tickets ahead of time. Highly recommend!

the vehicle taken was very nice, spacious, clean. The tourists were able to see out of the windows. Our driver was very alert to her driving. We felt safe. Anya was very welcoming to the tourists, made learned our names right away and asked where we were from. Made us feel comfortable and eager to begin the trip. Anya was well received in explaining CA information as we went along on the tour. I thought she was delightful and interesting. The time at Muir Woods was wonderful, we had enough time to walk through the whole park. Our time in Sausalito was not long enough, but we did have time to eat lunch and walk around a bit.

Yosemite day trip
Sharon our tour guide made this trip absolutely memorable. Long trip in and out from San Fran. But Sharon made it enjoyable both ways. She adapted to the needs of all of her travelers and took us to all the greatest sights available for the day. The sights were simply amazing. And would highly recommend this excursion if you only have short time and 1 day! Please don’t sell your self short and second guess it was amazing! The communication was exceptional for any tour that i have ever taken!

Highly recommended!
Our tour guide was amazing and we had ample time to take in the views and take pictures. He was very knowledgeable and it’s a great way to learn about the city hassle free. This way you know what areas you’d like to visit and to spend more time in specific areas.

Grooving with the Painted Ladies
Traveling the streets of San Francisco in a VW Van you get a fun and personalized tour (our tour guide connected things we saw to what he learned about us). We got history, a better understanding of the layout of the city, and time to stop for photos. I thoroughly enjoyed the music and info from our tour guide.

Great value
Our tour guide Per was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and interactive. He was so thorough and made the tour so interesting. The tour covered a little bit of everything that we wanted to see. Great value, especially if you’re limited on time and want to squeeze in as many sites as possible.

Our West Coast WineDown Tour with RON
RON made this tour exceptional. We learned quite a bit from him about the city, many of the wineries, monuments and landmarks. He was very patient and considerate, offering recommendations after confirming preferences. Ron was prompt, professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend this tour with him. 10/10.

Great Experience!
It’s a long day depending on where you start. We lucked out and had Beautiful Weather. Our guide Steve is really good at what he does. I would recommend having coffee only at the first stop. The lunch stop offers a better experience. That said, Tidal Coffee in Monterey has excellent coffee and serves a huge breakfast burrito that’s plenty enough for two.

So much fun!
Our tour guide, German guy, forgot his name was amazing. Charming and funny and so knowledgeable about SF history. Very easy going pace and we were able to cover Sausalito, red woods, pics by golden gate, and a drop off at Alcatraz pier. My 10 yr old son loved it.

Magical
Muir Woods is absolutely beautiful. Walking among the redwoods early in the morning was magical. I highly recommend taking one of the early morning tours to Muir Woods. If you want to experience the woods in relative quiet and really take in the atmosphere without constant chatter, going early makes a big difference.
The tour itself was very well organized. Our guide made a stop at the Golden Gate Bridge and kept the group engaged throughout the drive with stories and commentary. He had a good sense for the group dynamic and managed to keep everyone entertained. Since we had extra time, he also added an additional stop at the Palace of Fine Arts, which was a nice bonus.
On the way back, we stopped in Sausalito and had the option to either return with the tour or take the ferry back ourselves, which I’d also recommend if the weather is nice.
Overall, it was a great experience and a very enjoyable way to see Muir Woods and the surrounding area.

Excellent Yosemite Day excursion experience
Ben Wood was an excellent guide and the whole day was so worth the money. Saw so much and even rock climbers on the way out of the park. Ben explained what to see for maximum time enjoyment and was a pleasure to spent the day with. Answered any questions we asked. Would highly recommend to others

Not seeing something you are looking for?
A small peninsula in the middle of the California coast, San Francisco makes a strategic base camp for exploring Northern California and the Central Coast. See some of the Golden State's most iconic attractions by embarking on guided day trips from San Francisco, traveling to such destinations as California's wine country, redwood forests, national parks, and the coastal cities of Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea. Not only do these tours take care of all the planning and driving, but they can include packages with wine tastings, lunch, and dinners. Some even combine trips to two, three, or more attractions in one day.
