What are people saying about San Francisco

A rather lengthy but very worthwhile tour.
Very extensive and informative tour. I was a bit concerned by the 5 PM first impression but Viktor more than redeemed himself over the next 15 plus hours. The assistance with photos, informative videos, commentary and telescope at El Capitan were fantastic. Overall, I don’t see how it could have been more enjoyable.

Easy & Fun Tour!
Trevor is awesome! He is a great guy and I loved that he is a native of San Francisco. We were able to learn from a locals perspectice which gave us great insights. Trevor was easy to talk to and gave us lots of good information that we didn't know before. I enjoyed learning about the Presidio, North Beach, and the different neighborhoods of San Francisco. We got great pictures in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. Easy and relaxed tour! I would definitely recommend. Loved the open air bus.

A fun and unique way to tour San Francisco
We loved our tour of San Francisco with Painted Ladies Tour Co. It was a great way to get to know the city on our first trip there. The van was so fun and unique! Our tour guide, Dominic was amazing. His passion for the city was contagious. He was so friendly and engaging. We highly recommend this tour!

Fabulous Fun
This tour was so much fun. Tara was an amazing guide with a lot of knowledge and great Dad jokes! After being on the big bus in the morning and then going on the Love Tour you really got to see some of the smaller streets and the fun side of San Francisco. Great introduction to the sights of San Francisco. Highly recommend this tour 🙂

Brian is the most...
Brian is the most knowledgeable guide I've ever had. I've been to SF for many times but still learned a lot from him. He is very experienced and speaks in a very clear manner - I can see nonnative English speakers can particularly benefit from his style.

Great first visit experience
Great trip. Def could go back for more time in Muir Woods, but great to experience. Sausalito was very nice as well.
Perhaps if there was an option for people who didn’t plan to do Alcatraz, that would’ve been nice so there could have been an option to stay longer in Muir Woods.
Tour guide, Dustin was great.

Excellent first day in San Francisco.
Very interesting tour. Our guide had grown up in San Francisco and knew all the little details that make the city interesting. He was great driver and took the right amount of stops for bathroom breaks and photos. Muir Woods has to be one of my favorite places on Earth. Absolutely gorgeous. My family always says that it reminds them of Star Wars with the Ewoks. Imagine our joy when we found out the original inhabitants were the Mewoks. Kevin was an amazing tour guide. I would make this the first thing you do in San Francisco. We also did the trip to Alcatraz in the afternoon. It felt like a very full and eventful day. We slept well that night.

Incredible experience & sail!!!
What an incredible experience from start to finish! Crew and boat were amazing! Equipped with knowledge and jackets if we got chilly during the ride + a bar (bonus!!). We actually got to participate in raising the sail which was a bucket list activity for me! Pictures/sights & views were unreal- SF cityscape, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz & wildlife!

The best small group wine tasting experience.
Amazing experience. Our tour guide had a huge amount of knowledge about San Francisco and Napa/Sonoma and loved the smaller wineries we visited. The smaller group experience made it feel more intimate and loved getting to know the others in our group. I would absolutely recommend this tour.

Great wine tour!!
Danny was our tour guide and he was great. First stop was the Golden Gate Bridge then we started on our adventure to the wineries. Our first winery was Jacuzzi in Sanoma. This winery is more of a traditional looking winery and is beautiful. The views from here are beautiful. The next winery was Artesa in Napa and Rick was our guide here. He is funny and made the tour a great experience. This winery is more of a modern looking winery and is also beautiful. The views from here are beautiful as well. Next we went to Sanoma for lunch. This place is nice but it was hot and we didn’t walk around much after eating. Our final winery was Madonna in Napa. All the wine tasting were great but Madonna was my favorite as they have a sweet wine Muscat. I would definitely recommend this tour.

San Francisco Ferry
The ferry was very good and worth the price!! Especially because of the under 18 discount. There is a luggage room here to store your luggage so don’t book a locker with bounce like I did!! But the bounce lockers are convenient if you neeed something like that.

Amazing Redwoods & Sausalito Experience
This was a wonderful half-day tour and a great way to experience two iconic Bay Area destinations without the stress of driving. Muir Woods was absolutely breathtaking—the giant redwoods are even more impressive in person, and we had plenty of time to explore the peaceful trails. Sausalito was the perfect follow-up with its beautiful waterfront, charming shops, and relaxing atmosphere. The transportation was comfortable, well-organized, and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Francisco!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Of all the San Francisco bus tours, the “love” tours that zip around the city from the Painted Ladies Victorian homes to the Twin Peaks viewpoint in Volkswagen vans might be the most fun. If these offbeat treks are a bit granola for you, other bus tours are convenient for exploring the city and surrounding areas in comfort. Hop-on hop-off bus tours offer ultimate flexibility and freedom, while guided coach tours travel to Muir Woods and even as far as Yosemite National Park and the Monterey and Carmel area.
