The Perfect Way to Experience Salem on Halloween Eve!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Fantastic Experience in Salem – Highly Recommend! We had an amazing time on the Salem Booze and Brews Haunted Pub Crawl! If you’re planning a trip to Salem, especially during the Halloween season, this is definitely an experience worth adding to your itinerary! Our tour guide, Andrew, was absolutely fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable about Salem’s history, entertaining, and engaging throughout the entire experience. He did a great job sharing interesting stories and historical details while keeping the atmosphere fun and relaxed. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed what he was doing, which made the tour even better. We booked our tour for Halloween Eve (October 30), which is one of the busiest times of the year to visit Salem. The streets were packed, restaurants and bars were busy, and lines were everywhere. One of the unexpected perks of booking this tour was that we were able to bypass some of the long lines at a few of the establishments to grab drinks. Being able to enjoy the nightlife without spending so much time waiting was a huge bonus, especially during Halloween weekend! What we really enjoyed was the combination of Salem’s haunted history, local establishments, and the opportunity to experience the city’s nightlife in a fun and unique way. It was a great balance of learning about Salem while enjoying drinks and the Halloween atmosphere. Andrew truly made the experience memorable, and having a knowledgeable guide who knows the area made navigating such a busy evening much more enjoyable. Whether you’re visiting Salem for the first time or returning to experience the Halloween festivities, I would absolutely recommend the Salem Booze and Brews Haunted Pub Crawl. It’s a fun way to explore the city, learn some interesting history, and enjoy a few drinks along the way. Five stars all around! Diane was our tour guide and she was wonderful. She was super knowledgeable and showed us some extra mansions and talked about history along the way. She was energetic and excited the entire tour which made it way more enjoyable. I would recommend her as a tour guide for anyone who wants to do this tour. Best tour we had all weekend!

This one was absolutely fantastic, and definitely our favorite! After going to several of the museums and doing other tours, we were feeling a bit fatigued of the same history lesson that each seemed to be giving, and this tour did not! The guide was incredibly engaging, funny, and made the group experience personal. This tour covered a deeper level of the events that occurred during the witch trials and gave wonderful details about many individuals involved. Highly recommend!

The actual ferry rides...

The actual ferry rides were very pleasant. All the crew was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is with the schedules. I purchased a ticket with a same day return. The first leg left on time. When I got to the destination, I was notified that the 5:30 pm ferry was cancelled - weather was not the issue. The last ferry was 4:00 PM and it caused me to cut my visit short. If taking the ferry, have a plan B to get back to Boston.

Spooky Salem Fun!

It was a very engaging tour that not only went over some fascinating bits of Salem history, but also allowed to explore some of the spookiest parts of the city. Definitely a fun time, our tour guide Justin was very sweet and funny- and made sure to show us a good chunk of the town while telling us all his fun ghost stories. We’ve been having his YouTube videos playing in the house all night!
