What are people saying about New York City

Visually stunning
Visual treat of deception. Great views of Empire State Building, Central Park and NYC. Loved the main room with all the mirrors, when look down it’s like your looking at yourself on the floor below. Loved silver ball room. Litttle surprise at the end.

Great tour!
My husband and I did this tour with our 10 year old son and it was wonderful! We love doing a tour and learning about a city from someone that lives there. Our tour guide was Dan and he was great! He engaged our son a lot and would ask him questions and he knew so much about the city. We love doing a walking/subway tour and this did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend!

Touching memorial
The 9/11 Memorial was very touching. That was a sad day that hopefully we’ll never have to experience again. This memorial was a nice tribute to those who lost their lives to this tragedy and takes you back to where you were on that day. It summed up the beginning of Al Qaeda through the death of Bin Laden. There were several rooms with audio recordings of first responders, survivors and those unfortunate souls on United 93 (this one made me cry). I’d suggest an early arrival to get around the crowds. There were kids with families and a few field trips attending the same day - I’m not sure it’s for kids under 16 not only because of the nature but many of them didn’t understand the reason for the memorial and were horse playing (because they’re kids).

A must when visiting New York!
Amazing experience taking in all the sights, really close up to Statue of Liberty! Our trip was 19.00 advised to arrive 30 mins prior to trip time, we where around pier around 17.30 saw a large queue forming presuming it was for a 18.00 excursion but thought if that’s the case all those people won’t be boarded ready for 18.00 departure! I spoke to one of the staff who informed me that this was the queue for the 19.00 excursion and that they board at 18.00 1hr before excursion time!! We therefore had to join this already very long queue! So from our experience our advice would be for you to be at the pier at least an hour and a half before your excursion time!! Oh and depending on time of year make sure you wrap up warm as really cold end of April!

Not seeing something you are looking for?

Leave behind the honking taxis and bustling crowds of New York City for a day, and you’ll be rewarded with some of America’s most famous landmarks and attractions. Visit Washington DC’s monuments, feel the mist coming off Niagara Falls, explore history in Philadelphia and Boston, or sip wines in Long Island’s vineyards. Tours from the Big Apple typically include expert guides, admission tickets, and sometimes meals or tastings. They say New York never sleeps, and these day trips leave plenty of time to enjoy a nightcap back in the city.
