What are people saying about Lisbon

There’s lots of hiking...
There’s lots of hiking and the cobblestone road also makes for an interesting walking experience. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Beautiful scenery and great food at the cafeteria. Anul (our guide), was really helpful, he offered us easy options (stairs vs ramp, stairway vs elevator), he also paced the walk to accommodate everyone on our group.

Sintra/Teresa
Incredible day thanks mostly to our Tour guide Teresa who went above and beyond to personalize our tour, which included points along the Tagus River and Atlantic coast west of Lisbon, the gardens and palace of Monserratte, Pena Palace (skip the line option) and village of Sintra. She was knowledgeable, hilarious and so much fun—would do another tour with her, anytime, anyplace. Ask for her if your booking is through Swingo. Expect a lot of up and down, sometimes uneven terrain if you want to enjoy this excursion. Still, can’t say enough about Teresa.

Rod is an amazing tour guide
It was really great to have such individual attention on a very comprehensive tour of the city our driver Rod (Rodrigo) was simply amazing and is the reason for five stars. He tailored the tour to things we were interested in and even waited for us while we grabbed a beer. He also gave us great recommendations for where to eat the next day, we could not have been happier.

Felipe and Small Group Tours, the best combination!
My friend Diane and I did a small group (8 max) tour of Pena Palace with Felipe and it was the BEST! I visited Portugal a year ago and did the same trip but in a large tourist bus. I wanted a different experience for my friend Diane’s first visit to Portugal. It did not disappoint. Small group tours are THE way to go, and if you are lucky enough to get Felipe as your guide, then you have struck gold!

Most Lisbon tours introduce you to the city’s eclectic neighborhoods, delicious food, and historical sights like Belém Tower and Pena National Palace. But there’s much more to the Portuguese capital. Join expert guides on full-day excursions to picturesque Sintra and Cascais, whip up classic Portuguese dishes with a local cooking class, or watch the sunset over the Tagus River, white wine in hand.
